MANILA, Philippines—University of Santo Tomas defeated De La Salle University for the first time in a decade with a 93-84 win on Saturday in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
This victory marked the Growling Tigers’ first triumph over the Green Archers since their narrow 81-79 win back in October 2015.
