MANILA, Philippines — Serbia stunned former World No. 2 Brazil with a straight-sets victory, 25-22, 25-20, 25-22, to advance to the round of 16 in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship on Thursday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Drazen Luburic led the major upset, delivering an impressive performance with 19 points, including 17 kills and two aces. The Serbians finished Pool H on a high note, securing their spot in the next round.
