In Canada, Global Container Terminals (GCT) has announced that GCT Deltaport — Canada’s flagship container terminal — has now fully transitioned to 100% renewable fuel for its diesel equipment. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the company’s ongoing decarbonization journey.
This achievement was made possible through a strong partnership with the Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN) and longtime fuel supplier Parkland Corporation. Their collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sustainability and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the maritime industry.
