Pos Malaysia appoints Shahrin Oli Mohamed as new group chief technology officer to accelerate digital transformation

Brings 20+ years experience in tech and digital transformation Succeeds Rahavendra, former group chief digital & transformation officer Pos Malaysia Berhad, the national postal and parcel service provider, has announced the appointment of Shahrin Oli Mohamed (pic) as its new group chief technology officer, effective 20 October 2025. She succeeds Rahavendra, who previously served as group chief digital & transformation officer. In this role, Shahrin will lead the companys overall technology strategy, drive digital innovation, and accelerate the modernisation of Pos Malaysias core IT infrastructure. Her appointment marks a key step in strengthening the companys position as a leading logistics and e-commerce enabler. She will report directly to Charles Brewer, Group CEO. Shahrin brings more than 20 years of extensive international experience in technology leadership, digital transformation, and IT management across industries including energy and fleet solutions. She joins Pos Malaysia from Gartner Gulf, where she served as Executive Partner, providing strategic counsel to boards and C-suite executives across the MENA region, Africa, and India. At Gartner Gulf, she spearheaded transformative initiatives in digital strategy, data and analytics, innovation, and technology adoption across multiple industries. Her expertise will be pivotal in enhancing Pos Malaysias technological capabilities, with a focus on charting the agentic AI roadmap, automating operations, optimising last-mile delivery solutions, improving customer experience through digital platforms, and fortifying cybersecurity measures.
