Jacob Frey ahead in Minneapolis mayoral race, but short of winning margin

The final results of the Minneapolis mayoral race won’t be called until Wednesday at the earliest, but incumbent Jacob Frey is ahead of his challengers by at least 10% as Election Day draws to a close. Frey secured 41. 76% of first-choice votes, followed by progressive challenger Omar Fateh with 31. 72% of the vote.
