The meat was canned and sold to cooks, who used it primarily for turtle soup, while the shells were crafted into goods like eyeglass frames, combs, and jewelry: items now made from plastic. It sounds like tricyclic antidepressants set to music: minor chords and moany lyrics in a padded cell of synths and numbly metronomic drum programming. Nebraska is also more than sad.
