On Aug. 24, I attended the opening ceremony of the new Willamette Valley Hindu Temple in Eugene. An abode to Goddess Mukambika, a composite manifestation of the goddesses Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati, the temple provides a space for the Hindu.
