Carlson, who said he was already a gold buyer before getting the offer, said he was later informed these companies sell products to unaware “elderly Fox News viewers” with massive markups. What Other Ai Companies Are Investing In Texas Data Centers? Texas has become an attractive state for the data centers thanks to its land availability and cheaper electricity for industrial uses. OpenAI, which recently established a for-profit arm valued at $500 billion, is constructing a flagship AI data center in Abilene, Texas, slated to open in 2026. The data center is one of multiple the company plans to launch as part of a larger project that will establish more infrastructure in Ohio and New Mexico.
