Maxwell, Epstein pleaded for Virginia Giuffre to ‘have our baby’ — prompting teen to hatch escape plan: Memoir

**Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s Disturbing Proposal to Virginia Roberts Giuffre: “Have Our Baby”**

In a chilling revelation from her posthumous memoir, *Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice*, Virginia Roberts Giuffre exposed a sinister request from Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. The pair pleaded with the then-teenage Giuffre to “have our baby,” a disturbing proposition that left her fearful they intended to breed children for their sex trafficking ring.

The proposal came with promises that sounded almost like a dream: round-the-clock nannies, a mansion either in Palm Beach or New York, and a staggering $200,000 monthly allowance. However, the generous offer was sealed with harsh conditions. Giuffre would have to sign over all legal rights to the child to Epstein, travel wherever he wished with the baby, and attest in writing that Epstein and she were not a couple. Worse still, if Epstein and Maxwell ever had a falling out, the child would remain with Epstein.

> “Everything about Epstein and Maxwell’s brazen request felt wrong,” Giuffre wrote.
> “There was no way I wanted to bring a child into the world for them to raise. What if the baby were female? Was the plan for Epstein and Maxwell to have me bring that little girl up until she reached puberty, then hand her over for them to abuse?”

At the time, Giuffre was just 18 years old and had been under the control of Epstein and Maxwell for two years. During that harrowing period, she endured repeated abuse by elite figures including disgraced royal Prince Andrew and an unnamed Prime Minister, who allegedly left her “bloodied and beaten.” (Prince Andrew has consistently denied these allegations.)

The request to bear their child “pushed me past my breaking point,” Giuffre revealed. The shocking question came after an afternoon snorkeling on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands. Epstein had spent the day lavishing her with compliments and appreciation for her “devotion” to his lifestyle.

> “Then he came out with it: ‘Jenna, I want you to have our baby,’” Giuffre recalled, referencing the nickname Epstein and Maxwell gave her.
> “Though I’d heard him talk hypothetically about seeding the human race with his DNA, his proposal shocked me.”

Despite Maxwell’s promises of luxury living and financial security, the conditions made clear the disturbing extent of control Epstein and Maxwell wanted to exert—not just over Giuffre, but over any potential child.

Giuffre stressed that the idea of pregnancy itself was daunting, given the trauma and abuse she had endured.

> “Epstein and Maxwell had made so many demands that I had met, ignoring my own feelings in the hope of pleasing them. But this proposal would endanger another person: a helpless child. It was a bridge too far.”

Fully aware that outright refusal would be dangerous, Giuffre began secretly planning her escape.

> “With perfect clarity, I simply knew that I couldn’t agree to their proposal. That said, I also knew I couldn’t just tell Epstein and Maxwell no. That was too dangerous. For the first time in more than two years, I began actively seeking a way to escape, buying time by pretending to think over their offer.”

Eventually, Giuffre agreed to the proposal—but only on the condition that Epstein and Maxwell finally uphold their promise to send her to professional training as a masseuse.

Epstein followed through by sending her to the International Training Massage School in Thailand. While she was expected to continue recruiting girls for Epstein’s trafficking ring, Giuffre instead met her future husband, Robert Giuffre. With his support, she escaped Epstein and Maxwell’s grasp. The couple went on to have three children of their own.

Neither Epstein nor Maxwell ever had children.

Giuffre’s memoir, which contains this haunting account, is set to be released next week. She completed the book in the years before her tragic suicide in April at the age of 41—a reminder of the deep scars left by her years of abuse and her courageous fight for justice.
