Kevin Durant Says He Used To Be Depressed About His Looks, It Was Stupid!

**Not This Again with Bobbi Althoff: Kevin Durant Opens Up About Insecurity Over His Height**

Most people wish they were a few inches taller, but NBA star Kevin Durant is opening up about how being vertically gifted actually made him insecure. The two-time NBA champion admitted he was once depressed over being “too tall, too skinny.”

Durant shared his mental battle on Bobbi Althoff’s “Not This Again” podcast, revealing that around six years ago, he struggled deeply with his appearance. “I was insecure about how I looked,” he said. “It hit me all at one time.”

KD explained that his size and physique made him stand out “for no reason,” which contributed to his insecurity. He noted that this feeling was especially strong when he was around people who were shorter than him.

So, what did he do to overcome these feelings?

“I just snapped out of it because it was stupid to even care. I just thought about it too much,” Durant said. “And I just needed to stop thinking about it.”

Fortunately, the 37-year-old is now in a much better place regarding his appearance.

The conversation between Durant and Althoff didn’t stop there. Durant also opened up about why he will never get married, his friendship with Drake, and much more.
