BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Sabres forward Jiri Kulich is out indefinitely due to a blood clot, head coach Lindy Ruff announced following practice on Monday.
Ruff did not provide additional details but described the situation as “pretty serious.” He also indicated that the second-year player will miss a “significant time” period.
The coach mentioned that the team will have a clearer understanding of Kulich’s recovery timeline in the coming days.
