Watt was “visibly upset.” Sitting beside fellow veterans Cam Heyward and Alex Highsmith, Watt could only repeat “No. No. No. No. No,” with tears welling in his eyes as Tomlin delivered his farewell speech.
To the players, Tomlin was much more than a coach—he was like a father figure in the building. His final address to the team carried the somber weight of a eulogy. It was a sad and emotional process, but the Steelers organization is resilient.
