The Madras High Court has ordered Sony Music Entertainment India Private Limited to disclose the revenue earned from the “commercial exploitation” of composer Ilaiyaraaja’s musical works.
The Borivali police arrested two men for allegedly blackmailing and extorting money from a 63-year-old high court lawyer after secretly recording him nude during a massage session. The arrested accused have been identified as Sameer Ali Hanif Khan (21) and Bhupendra Bhagwan Singh (25), while a third accomplice, Manvinder alias Munna, remains absconding.
In a major development, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has filed a 10,526-page chargesheet in the alleged ₹58 crore embezzlement case involving the National Sports Club of India (NSCI). The chargesheet names NSCI President Jayantilal Shah, Shailesh Parab of Sateri Consultants and SP Consultants, and Chartered Accountant Manoj Saraf as accused. Statements of over 100 witnesses have been recorded.
