Ford CEO Claims He Can’t Fill 5,000 Mechanic Jobs That Pay $120,000 Per Year: ‘We Are in Trouble in Our Country’

**Ford CEO Jim Farley Warns of Dire Shortage of Skilled Tradespeople Amid 5,000 Unfilled Mechanic Jobs Paying $120K**

Jim Farley, the CEO of Ford, recently revealed a troubling issue facing the U.S. labor market: the company is unable to fill 5,000 mechanic positions despite offering a salary of $120,000 per year. This shortage of skilled tradespeople highlights a larger problem that has been discussed by TV personality Mike Rowe and others for years — the country simply isn’t producing enough young people trained in essential hands-on skills.

Farley shared his concerns during an episode of the “Office Hours: Business Edition” podcast. He emphasized, “We are in trouble in our country. We are not talking about this enough.” According to Farley, there are over a million job openings in critical sectors such as emergency services, trucking, manufacturing, plumbing, electrical work, and other trades.

The CEO explained that it takes approximately five years of training to acquire the skills necessary to, for example, pull a diesel engine out of a Ford Super Duty truck. However, the U.S. currently lacks enough trade schools to train this next generation of workers. “We are not investing in educating a next generation of people like my grandfather who had nothing, who built a middle class life and a future for his family,” Farley lamented.

This concern echoes the sentiments expressed by Mike Rowe earlier this year. Rowe pointed out the stark contrast between the growing student debt and the number of available jobs that do not require a four-year college degree. “We have $7 trillion in student debt on the books and 7.6 million open jobs right now — most of which don’t require a 4-year degree,” Rowe said in a widely shared clip on social media platform X.

Furthermore, Rowe noted that 6.8 million able-bodied men are currently out of the workforce and not actively seeking employment. He highlighted the removal of shop classes from high schools as a significant factor: “We took shop class out of high school; we robbed kids of the opportunity to see what that kind of work even looks like.”

He added, “Meanwhile, we told a whole generation of kids they were screwed if they didn’t get a 4-year degree. We are going to have a serious problem in this country if we don’t fix this quickly.”

Staffer For Democrat Senator Tammy Duckworth Caught Posing as Lawyer to Free Illegal Alien From ICE Custody

**Department of Homeland Security Demands Answers After Illinois Staffer Misrepresents Himself as Legal Counsel**

Louis, Illinois – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking answers following allegations that Edward York, a staffer for Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.), misrepresented himself to federal agents as legal counsel for Jose Ismeal Ayuzo Sandoval, a four-time deported illegal alien with a prior DUI conviction.

According to a letter from the DHS, York entered an ICE facility in St. Louis, Illinois, on October 29 by falsifying a Department of Homeland Security form. During this visit, York claimed to be the attorney representing Ayuzo Sandoval and demanded to speak with him.

The letter states, “At approximately 1:29 p.m., an individual identified as Edward York, who according to publicly available information, is employed as a Constituent Outreach Coordinator for your Senate office, entered the field office lobby, and in a discussion with a federal officer, claimed to be Mr. Ayuzo’s attorney. Mr. York demanded to speak with his ‘client.’”

York allegedly used this misrepresentation to gain access to the detainee and seek his release from custody. While at the facility, York successfully met with Ayuzo Sandoval and obtained his signature on a G-28 form. The G-28 form authorizes an attorney to represent a client on immigration matters, allowing the attorney to receive official correspondence and communicate with government agencies on their behalf.

The DHS letter also highlights troubling actions concerning the submission of this form. York reportedly attempted to submit the G-28 without Ayuzo Sandoval’s signature. According to Fox News, “Four days later, a Suarez Law Office in Collinsville, Illinois, filed a G-28 electronically that did not have Mr. Ayuzo’s signature, even though Mr. York, who claimed to work for the law firm, had already obtained a signed form.”

The DHS believes there may have been collaboration between York and the law firm to conceal the misrepresentation. The letter states, “It appears as if Mr. York may have collaborated with the firm to cover his misrepresentation.”

This incident raises serious concerns regarding ethical conduct and legal compliance within Senator Duckworth’s office, especially given the sensitive nature of immigration enforcement.

Pure Evil: Sister of Slain Firefighter Corey Comperatore Receives Vile Letter Mocking His Death — Signed and Sent Proudly by “Another Deranged Democrat”

**A Hateful Handwritten Letter Sent to Kelly Comperatore Meeder, Sister of Fallen Firefighter Corey Comperatore**

*By Jim Hoft | November 02, 2025 | Gateway Pundit*

Kelly Comperatore Meeder, the sister of fallen firefighter Corey Comperatore, has revealed that she received a hateful handwritten letter mocking her brother’s death. Corey Comperatore was tragically killed during the assassination attempt on President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Meeder described opening what she thought was a thank-you card from a grateful family, part of her work organizing events at a local hall, only to find a venom-filled rant from what she called “another deranged Democrat.”

Meeder wrote:

> “I pour myself into every wedding and event at the Hall. So, I thought I was opening a ‘thank you’ card from a grateful family, as I often do.
> Nope. Just another ‘love note’ from ANOTHER deranged Democrat.
> Imagine being so filled with hatred that you send a handwritten card to someone who still cries, every single day, over the murder of her little brother. As if your feelings matter that much to me.
> Can you even fathom this kind of viciousness? Imagine being so proud of it that you sign it with your first and last name, AND affix a return address label to it!
> This is our life now. Our ‘new normal.’
> All I ever did to deserve this kind of hatred was to love my brother.
> Adding another name to my prayer list tonight. Kristine, obviously, needs a relationship with Jesus. Pray for her. Pray that God turns her ‘heart of stone to a heart of flesh.’ Ezekiel 36:26”

Meeder also shared images of the hateful handwritten card she received from a Wisconsin resident. The vile message mocked her late brother, Corey Comperatore, with baseless attacks on President Trump and the family’s pain.

The letter read in part:

> “Do you really believe fascist Trump cares about your dead brother? He made a joke about your sister-in-law getting a million dollars for her dead husband. He joked about it!
> So now you are mad because 6 Secret Service agents were not held accountable in your bro’s death. Donald fascist Trump fires anyone who doesn’t bow down to him. Anyone who doesn’t prosecute his enemies.
> He will not fire the incompetent Secret Service agents because they saved him. He doesn’t give a f*** about your MAGA brother.
> If you gave him a couple million dollars he might do something for you— but I don’t believe you have enough money to pay him off.
> So do what you got to do, but don’t blame anyone but your Hitler president.”

This incident highlights the extreme hostility faced by grieving families amid political tensions. Imagine being so consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome that you track down a grieving woman to send such a hateful message.

Unfortunately, this is just the latest in a disturbing pattern of harassment against Trump supporters and victims’ families by some on the left. From doxxing to death threats, this toxic rhetoric—fueled by mainstream media labels calling Trump a “fascist”—has emboldened extremists to act out in dangerous ways.
