OpenAI board member Larry Summers resigns over Epstein ties
Earlier this week, Larry Summers, a board member of ChatGPT maker Open AI, announced that he’d be stepping back from his duties following the revelation that he corresponded over email with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Now, Summers is resigning amidst the controversy. Summers confirmed his exit from OpenAI in a statement to CNBC. “I am grateful for the opportunity to have served, excited about the potential of the company, and look forward to following their progress,” he wrote. OpenAI also shared a statement, saying “We appreciate his many contributions and the perspective he brought to the Board.” Thousands of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein were released last week, including a series of emails sent by and to the convicted sex offender. According to Harvard University’s newspaper, The Crimson, Summers contacted Epstein for guidance as he pursued a romantic relationship with a mentee.

Leslie Bibb Tells ‘Today’s Jenna Bush Hager About The Time She Took A “Break” From Partner Sam Rockwell: “I Went To Burning Man For A Week”
Leslie Bibb recently opened up to Today’s Jenna Bush Hager about the one time she took “a break” from her partner of 18 years, actor Sam Rockwell.
Bush Hager had just shared videos of Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes, who have seemingly reunited after they were reported to have broken up in September. She then asked Bibb, who is guest hosting Today this week, “Did you and Sam ever take a break?”
Bibb initially denied it before confessing, “Well, I went to Burning Man for a week and I said, ‘I’m not gonna talk to you for a week. Think about what you’ve done. Think about your choices.’”
Bush Hager responded with a smile, “Wait, did you come back from Burning Man and think about your choices?” implying Bibb might have gotten up to some antics while attending the music festival.
“I had a great time!” Bibb revealed. “I didn’t do anything crazy. I was going around spraying SPF on girls’ boobs so that they wouldn’t get sunburned. I was so scared.” She added, “Well, I’m like Cathy Careful of Burning Man. I’m like, ‘Are you hydrated?’ I would give everybody water.”
Although Bibb did not share what caused her and Rockwell to take the break, she noted, “That was the only time where we just didn’t talk for the week.”
Bush Hager then shared her own experience, confessing that she and her husband “maybe took a small break” at one point that lasted “a couple of days.”
However, Bibb is not particularly a fan of taking “breaks” in a relationship. “I am a Scorpio and when I’m done, I’m done. It’s over,” she told Bush Hager. She even wondered if she should “go talk to my shrink” about that, adding, “It’s probably not healthy to do that.”
The White Lotus star has been a welcome addition to the Today With Jenna & Friends family. This marks the second time she has guest hosted the fourth hour of Today with Bush Hager, and Bibb will continue guest hosting for the remainder of the week.
Stars Oliver Hudson and Ali Larter are set to join Bibb and Bush Hager later this week.

De Blasio’s estranged wife Chirlaine McCray shocked to hear about his breakup, cheating allegations: ‘I can’t wait to read the story’
Former Mayor Bill de Blasio’s estranged wife was on the edge of her seat Monday, eager to learn more about her lothario husband’s philandering ways that have rocked his romantic relationship with a much-younger progressive activist.
Chirlane McCray let out a sympathetic “awww” upon discovering that the ex-mayor, 64, had been two-timing former “The Young Turks” correspondent Nomiki Konst with an elected official from out of state. This revelation led to the abrupt end of their 10-month whirlwind romance.
“I don’t know anything. I’m not up to date, but I will be,” the former First Lady of New York City told The Post at her Brooklyn home. “I can’t wait to read the story,” she added, referring to The Post’s exclusive report on Sunday revealing that her hornball hubby was back on the market following his contentious breakup with Konst.
De Blasio and McCray separated in 2023 but stated they had no intention of divorcing. In the months after parting ways with McCray, with whom he shares two children, the former mayor was spotted engaging in a three-hour make-out session with a mystery woman at an Upper West Side rooftop bar. He was also seen whisking a different married woman out for a night on the town.
Konst, 41, and de Blasio went public with their relationship in February and were recently spotted together at a “no kings” rally, both wearing Zohran Mamdani T-shirts just last month.
Sources say Konst was left devastated by the infidelity and that she was “really, really happy” with the love connection before things went south.
“Nomiki and I had a lovely relationship for 10 months. I have deep respect for her and what she stands for, and I hope we can have a real friendship in the future,” de Blasio said Sunday when asked about the alleged affair.
Konst was credited with helping stodgy de Blasio’s recent rebranding and glow-up, which included ditching his often-ridiculed hair coloring that he adopted after leaving office.

Jennifer Lawrence calls Emma Stone the “Muppet-head” leading the way on their Miss Piggy movie: “I’m the ideas guy”
As the merry band of anarchic performers turns 70, Hollywood may finally be coming around to the notion that we could all use far more of The Muppets.
Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone are developing an upcoming movie centred around the magnificent Miss Piggy, and they have their working relationship very clearly defined.
“Emma Stone is the Muppet-head. Also, Emma Stone is a shark,” Lawrence explained during an appearance on *The Tonight Show*. “I’m, just like, the ideas guy. So, I went to her to be like, ‘What do we do?’ So, now Cole [Escola] is writing it, and they’re perfect.”
The brainwave came to Lawrence during 2020 and 2021, when lockdowns were in effect and discussions around ‘cancel culture’ were bubbling up. Talking about these subjects with a friend led to a novel idea for something involving Kermit’s enduring partner.
“Miss Piggy is a feminist icon, and she said it would be so funny if Miss Piggy got canceled,” Lawrence remembers, before clarifying: “Now, that is not the plot, necessarily, but it got the wheels turning.”
That is a fascinating angle.
This will mark the first time Miss Piggy has headlined her own feature film in her 55 years and counting as part of the Muppets troupe. She made her debut in a Herb Alpert special in 1974, went on to have a small role in 1975’s *The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence* (actual title), before transitioning into the main cast for the first season of *The Muppet Show* in 1976.
She’s now an indelible part of the central cast, often seen as the boisterous partner and love interest of Kermit the Frog. Much as she desires the spotlight, her storylines have been largely subplots until now, and it seems Stone and Lawrence are ready to remedy that.
Both actors hope to appear in the picture.
It’s one of two Muppets-related projects currently underway. Seth Rogen is producing a mystery special for Disney+ as well, with an ear toward developing another ongoing variety show.
I’m cautiously optimistic on all fronts.
