Matthew Lillard says Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 won’t be the last time we’ll see Skeet Ulrich as Henry Emily. “When it came to Skeet, [creator Scott Cawthon] was like, ‘What do you think about Skeet to play this role?’ I thought it made total sense. The relationship between the two characters it’s on an interesting path, that’s all I can say,” Lillard tells GamesRadar+, when asked about the casting process. Ulrich and Lillard played best friends Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, respectively, in Wes Craven’s horror hit Scream. At the end of the film, the duo is revealed to be the knife-wielding serial murderer Ghostface (and it’s still one of the coolest and most clever reveals in any horror movie ever). Despite remaining friends for nearly 30 years, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 marks the duo’s first onscreen appearance since 1996. Ulrich plays Henry Emily, the overarching protagonist of the FNAF video games, who makes his first appearance in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. In the games and tie-in novels, Henry (first mentioned in the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 video game as a missing person) is the co-founder of the Freddy Fazbear franchise who created the animatronics alongside none other than William Afton played by Lillard. This casting is particularly clever, as it parallels and subverts Billy and Stu’s relationship. In Scream, it’s Billy (Ulrich) who creates Ghostface and spearheads their murder spree, which is fueled by Billy’s deeply rooted hatred of Sidney and need for revenge. In Five Night’s at Freddy’s lore, Afton is the one who decides to turn the pizza chain into a trap for murdering children. and it’s Henry who tries to put a stop to it, rather than join in. “Our relationship is really tight. I mean, I see him every weekend. Husbands on the road. We eat every meal together, and he’s one of my dear, dear friends in the world, so I was thrilled,” Lillard continues. “I realized that he would take care of the fan base like I take care of the fan base. I think both of us are fan-forward. I don’t want to put words in his mouth, but I think he’s honored to be a part of the cast in this demographic and sort of the franchise in the world. I think he’s really excited about it. I know he’s excited about it.” Adds Lillard: “I think it’s great for the film. I think it’s fantastic in the movie. And I think fans are gonna love not only his performance here, but in success, we’re supposed to do three movies. LIFE IN THE BOOTHEEL: Sikeston couple embrace the busyness of life
SIKESTON Sikeston native Kari Keller is not only the face that greets everyone when they venture into the YMCA of Southeast Missouri each morning for a workout, but she is also a regular exercise participant herself, which comes in handy as she manages to keep up with her husband, Shannon Keller. “I don’t like sitting still very much,” Shannon explained of his philosophy in life. The 54-year-old Cape County native and his 51-year-old spouse have established roots deep in Southeast Missouri, and both want for nothing else. “It’s home,” Shannon said. “I could move to Alaska or Montana, but Southeast Missouri is home. I wouldn’t know what to do if I left here after being here for 54 years, and having to start all over again somewhere else.” Suffice to say, regardless of location, it probably wouldn’t take Shannon long to figure out SOMETHING to do. The Cape Central High School graduate works full-time as an officer with the Sikeston Department of Safety, but he also maintains several side jobs, which take up every bit as much time as most people’s full-time gigs. He operates a lawn mowing service in Sikeston, owns a rental property, dabbles in detailing vehicles, and, since he was a kid, he and his father have farmed their Cape County land that originated with Shannon’s grandfather doing so. “I love farming,” Shannon said. “I like to see things go from start to finish. I like to be able to put the crop in the ground and watch it grow. At the end, the harvest is a sense of accomplishment.” Kari and Shannon are both spiritual people, and Kari said her husband finds “peace with God” while navigating rows and rows of corn and beans. “It is peaceful,” Shannon said. “It’s just me, the tractor, and some dirt.” That time helps Shannon decompress from the stress of being a law enforcement officer, as well as a firefighter, because every Sikeston DPS officer serves in both capacities. He has served with Sikeston DPS for nearly a quarter of a century. “Public service,” Shannon said of why he chose that career. “I like to help people. It was a sense of helping people in need.” The couple have been together for 23 years, and have been married since 2019. Kari said earlier in the relationship, they both were attacking life at warp speed. “We used to both be (busy),” Kari said. “I had three jobs myself, and now this is the only job that I have. “I am used to (Shannon’s busyness). I love that he is so dedicated.” Kari said she and Shannon “never fight,” if for no other reason, they don’t have time to. “We very seldom have disagreements,” Kari said. “Because I am always right.” (That was a joke. Maybe.) “He knows that now.” “Yes,” Shannon concurred. “100 percent.” The couple does find time to enjoy time away from work, as they love to camp, hike, and, in general, be outdoors. Kari spends time in her beautiful flower gardens, and Shannon makes sure the lawn is manicured perfectly. “The time that we do have is very valuable,” Kari said. “It is very, very special.”.

Lane Kiffin’s daughter seen at LSU booster meeting as coaching saga swirls
The sweepstakes for Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin is the best reality show in college sports. His daughter Landry attended the Bengal Belles luncheon an LSU women’s booster club meeting at L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge on Thursday, according to Nola. com, amid reports that Kiffin is in the mix for head coaching jobs at high profile programs LSU and Florida. Landry attended the luncheon with her boyfriend, LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, and his LSU linebacker brothers, West and Zach, along with their mother, Erin. A video making rounds online shows Landry walking around at the event. The 20-year-old Landry, a sophomore at Mississippi, made their relationship public in a post on Instagram in September. Weeks, one of the nation’s top linebackers, is in his third season with LSU. Landry wore a cream colored tank top and matching pants. During a Tuesday appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Kiffin denied a report by The Athletic that Ole Miss has given him an ultimatum to decide on his future, and emphasized that his focus is on the 10-1 Rebels. The No. 6-ranked Rebels will likely lock in a spot in the College Football Playoff with a win over Mississippi State next week. Kiffin became the head coach at Ole Miss in December 2019, after he served as the offensive coordinator at Alabama under then coach Nick Saban’s staff 2014-16.
