Pilot Your Mech in Super Robot Wars Y
Bandai Namco’s long-running crossover mecha series continues to expand with Super Robot Wars Y, which is set to receive its first major DLC on November 21. Titled Contract from the Darkness, the new content brings a fresh lineup of playable units and characters drawn from Galaxy Cyclone Braiger, The Big O, and Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull.
Alongside these additions, players can look forward to new area missions that deepen the game’s already rich tactical experience. Those who purchased the Collector’s Edition, Digital Ultimate Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, or the combined DLC Pack 1 & 2 set will be able to dive into the expansion early, starting November 19.
Bandai Namco has also released a trailer previewing the new content, giving fans a glimpse of the upcoming storylines, battles, and crossover interactions between the featured series.
Free Update for All Players
In addition to the paid DLC, the game will roll out a free update for all players on November 17. This update introduces a new Special Mission titled “Battle Rush”, along with EX Level Pilot Skills that further enhance combat customization.
It also includes the first mission from the DLC, “A Smile on the Street Corner”, ensuring that even players without the expansion will have something new to explore.
