MANILA, Philippines – La Salle survived a furious fourth-quarter rally to edge Far Eastern University (FEU), 74-72, and return to the win column in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Wednesday at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.
The Green Archers managed to dodge a late-game bullet when FEU’s Jorick Bautista missed a wide-open layup in the crucial moments of the game, preserving La Salle’s narrow victory.
With this win, La Salle gains momentum as the tournament continues, while FEU will look to regroup and bounce back in their upcoming matches.
