Julia Lua of La Salle-1 and Emilio Carpio of UP-1 skillfully navigated the rain-softened Summit Point layout in Batangas on Wednesday. Both golfers zoomed to the lead in their respective divisions, giving their teams a strong position to contend for the team event title.
Lua posted an 11-over-par 83 on a course that played much longer than usual, demonstrating resilience and skill despite challenging conditions. Her performance was instrumental in setting the pace for her team as the competition continues.
