Gold Prices Climb ₹171 To ₹1,12,800 Per 10 Grams In Domestic Futures Market, Silver Declines ₹400

New Delhi: Gold prices climbed by Rs 171 to reach Rs 1,12,800 per 10 grams in the domestic futures market on Friday, despite a largely flat trend in the overseas market. Meanwhile, silver pulled back from its record peak, declining by Rs 400 to Rs 1,36,656 per kilogram.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for October delivery rose Rs 171, or 0.15%, to Rs 1,12,800 per 10 grams in a turnover of 2,834 lots. Similarly, the December contract traded higher by Rs 56, or 0.05%, at Rs 1,13,927 per 10 grams in 13,573 lots.

In contrast, silver eased after scaling fresh records in the previous session. The December contract fell Rs 400, or 0.29%, to Rs 1,36,656 per kilogram in 17,462 lots. The white metal had touched a record high of Rs 1,37,530 per kg on Thursday.

The March 2026 contract also slipped Rs 351, or 0.25%, to Rs 1,38,051 per kg in 2,216 lots after hitting an all-time high of Rs 1,38,847 per kg in the previous session.

Globally, gold futures for December delivery rose 0.15% to USD 3,776.90 per ounce, while silver futures were trading 0.21% lower at USD 45.02 per ounce. On Thursday, silver had climbed to hover near a 14-year high of USD 45.50 per ounce.

Commodities market experts said upbeat US macroeconomic data released on Thursday fueled uncertainty over the pace of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve, helping the dollar stay near a three-week high. This, in turn, limited gains in gold prices.

They added that the downside for gold may remain cushioned as traders await the release of the US personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index—the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge—for policy cues and near-term direction for bullion prices. The data will confirm whether the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will remain on track for two rate cuts this year.

Experts also noted that renewed concerns over the economic fallout from US President Donald Trump’s fresh tariffs on a wide range of imports, along with rising geopolitical tensions, are likely to keep safe-haven demand intact.

“Persistent geopolitical risks and festive demand in Asia could lend support to gold at lower levels,” an expert said.

Plastic bags can be turned into sensors for safe drinking water

Researchers in Indonesia have developed an innovative method to transform plastic waste into glowing nanomaterials capable of sensing harmful substances in water. At the core of this breakthrough are carbon quantum dots (CQDs), nanoparticles that emit light when exposed to ultraviolet light.

CQDs have the unique ability to act as sensors, detecting pollutants at the molecular level. Traditionally, producing CQDs has required expensive or toxic raw materials. However, the Indonesian research team used waste plastic bags as their starting material, offering a more sustainable and cost-effective approach.

The process involved combining modified pyrolysis with hydrothermal treatment. Using less than 7 percent hydrogen peroxide, they successfully transformed polyethylene from plastic bags into functional CQDs in just 10 hours.

One of the most remarkable features of these plastic-derived CQDs is their ability to detect metal ions, particularly iron ions, in water. This capability presents promising applications for monitoring water quality and detecting harmful contaminants.

‘Uska Past Kharab Raha Hai’: Adnaan Shaikh’s Sister Iffat Reveals Why She Said ‘Riddhi Dhandha Karti Hai’ In Viral Audio Clip (Exclusive)

Adnaan Shaikh, who has been making headlines following his wedding with girlfriend Riddhi Jadhav—who converted to Islam and is now known as Ayesha—faces several serious allegations from his own sister, Iffat. In an exclusive chat with The Free Press Journal, Iffat made shocking revelations about the social media sensation and his wife, Riddhi (aka Ayesha).

**On Ayesha’s Conversion and Wedding Posters**

You mentioned that Adnaan’s wife, Ayesha, converted to Islam and was earlier known as Riddhi. If that’s the case, what do you say about the posters at their wedding claiming that Ayesha wanted to preserve her beauty and hence, no pictures were allowed?

*“Preserving beauty? Hahaha, I saw that. Kaisi beauty preserve hui hai, woh toh logon ne social media par dekh hi liya hai. I saw those posters too. If you were so conscious about your wife’s photography and videography, why did you call the paparazzi and the PR? Aapne hi media bulayi hai aur aapne hi aise posters lagaye hain, toh ye double standards mujhe samajh nahi aaya. Itna hi dignity wali baat hoti ki usne maintain kiya hota lifetime, toh jo bhi aaj uske photos aur videos hume dekhne mil rahe hai, woh nahi milte. No matter how much someone stalks, they will never be able to find any of my pictures on social media, and even if they do, aisa kuch nahi milega jaisa Riddhi ka mila hai because I have maintained my dignity and my hijabi look always. Whatever I do, I do with my husband’s permission.”*

**Regarding the Viral Audio and Comments on Riddhi**

An audio of yours has gone viral where you are heard speaking about Riddhi, including the line ‘Ayesha dhandha karti hai flight par.’ Why did you make such remarks?

*“Ye recording aadhi adhuri daali gayi hai. This was recorded by my brother Abdul Rehman, my own brother. I feel very ashamed to call them my brothers as well. The recording is not complete. Adnaan had abused my husband’s father, and in return, my husband called Adnaan ‘Beode ka beta.’ Agar aap kisi ke father ko bol rahe ho, toh you should be prepared that the other person too will say something back to you. Bahut si baatein hui thi, but since this happened days ago, I am telling you whatever I can recall.*

*I was wearing a co-ord set during the conversation, and my father said, ‘ye toh Riddhi ke paise ka pehni hai.’ Then I lost it and said, ‘Ye Riddhi ne dilayi thi, yeh maine mere paise ka pehna hai,’ and then I said whatever has gone viral. I am not denying it, yes I said, ‘Riddhi dhandha karke paisa kama ke di hai kya?’ Maybe I am wrong, but I said so because I had come to know about her past through various sources.”*

**What Past Are You Referring To?**

*“I will not reveal names, but one of her close friends spoke to me and told me that her past was very bad. She told me many things which I don’t think it’s appropriate to disclose. Also, these things were said in anger and the recording is incomplete. Yes, I admit that I said those things, but the recording is only partial.*

*I have many recordings, by the way. My intuition about them has always been strong, and I knew they would do something like this. I haven’t even shared one thing yet—I am just waiting for the right time to drop a ‘truth bomb.’ If they are trying to bring up my past, then I too will not leave them.”*

**Is Adnaan Aware of Riddhi’s ‘Bad Past’?**

*“Adnaan is already aware of everything and yet chose to marry her. He knew everything.”*

**What Can You Tell Us About Riddhi (Ayesha)?**

*“What I know of their love story is that Riddhi met Adnaan at some club. Riddhi’s intention was as they told me and as one of her friends—who is now sharing videos about her on YouTube—said, she wanted fame and thus associated with Adnaan. Riddhi had a YouTube channel of her own where she posted makeup tutorials.*

*So, she was ready to marry Adnaan for fame. I do not think any girl gives up her career just for marriage and relationships. Yes, relationships are equally important but giving up her career? I don’t know. Even I feel—and Riddhi also said this—she got caught up making videos. That was from her side; from Adnaan’s side, there was nothing like that.”*

**Was Riddhi’s Family Supportive of the Marriage?**

*“If her family were supportive, someone from her family would have come to the wedding, right? Koi kyun nahi dikha uski family se shaadi mein? Her family members were not in favor; otherwise, someone would have attended. I clearly remember her brother was totally against the marriage, not just her elder brother but her entire family. They knew about Adnaan—when she was traveling abroad with him, they were aware.*

*Adnaan once said in an interview that Riddhi’s mother was impressed with him in the first meeting itself. How true is this?”*

**Is There Any Truth to That?**

*“If that were true, then the mother would definitely have come to the wedding on such an important occasion. I don’t know if it is true or if it is just to show everyone so that things are kept hidden. Agar aisa hota, toh unki mom zarur aati wedding par.”*

These revelations shed light on the complicated dynamics surrounding Adnaan Shaikh, Riddhi Jadhav (Ayesha), and their families amid the ongoing controversy. As more details come to the forefront, the public continues to watch this unfolding story with great interest.

RSS On Nadda Remarks: ‘Family Matters’ Should Not Be Discussed In Public

**RSS Seeks to Downplay Rift with BJP, Emphasizes Family Matters Should Remain Private**

On Wednesday, September 25, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) addressed perceptions of a rift between the organisation and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), urging that internal matters be kept within the family.

Speaking at the India Today conclave, Sunil Ambekar, a senior RSS functionary and the organisation’s Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, responded to questions regarding comments made by BJP president JP Nadda ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Nadda had remarked that the BJP had become self-sufficient and capable of running its own affairs, referring to the RSS as an “ideological front.”

Ambekar stated, “We solve family matters like family matters. We don’t discuss such issues on public platforms.” He sought to downplay the significance of any perceived differences between the RSS and the BJP, emphasizing the importance of discretion.

Highlighting the RSS’s broad appeal, Ambekar noted that people from all walks of life join the organisation. “Even if anyone joined the BJP for political gains, they begin doing good work because of their association with the RSS,” he added.

On questions regarding the role of women within the RSS, Ambekar explained that the Rashtra Sevika Samiti has been carrying out similar work to the RSS since the 1930s.

“As a structure on the ground, the RSS shakhas are only for boys. But the Rashtra Sevika Samiti, an all-women organisation affiliated with the RSS, has been doing the same work since the 1930s,” he said. Ambekar elaborated that the basic structure of the RSS is the “shakha,” which is designed for the “man-making process.”

He further stated that there currently is no demand from society for men and women to participate together in RSS activities. “‘Man-making and nation-building is RSS’ mission. Hence, shakhas have only males, while Rashtra Sevika Samiti has women as members,” he explained.

“When residents of a locality say that girls and boys can play together, we will make necessary changes in our structure. But society is not asking for it,” Ambekar added.

He concluded, “Society is not asking for girls and boys to play together. The current structure is a matter of convenience, and that is why there is such an arrangement of the Sangh having only boys as volunteers.”

SHOCKING: Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 makers demand that single screen, 2-screen, 3-screen theatres should NOT share shows with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari; ask for 100% showcasing

Less than a week remains until the release of *Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1* and *Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari*. This highly anticipated clash between the two films has sparked a fierce battle over show sharing. However, exhibitors are left shocked by the unprecedented demands made by the makers of *Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1*.

**SHOCKING:** Kantara’s distributors demand that single-screen, two-screen, and three-screen theatres *do not* share shows with *Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari*, insisting on 100% showcasing of their film.

A trade source revealed that AA Films, the distributors of *Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1*, sent an official mail to exhibitors outlining their showtime requirements. They have demanded all shows on single-screen cinemas, 12 shows in two-screen cinemas (which amounts to all shows), and 18 shows in three-screen multiplexes—again, effectively requesting every show.

The source explained, “It is common for distributors to demand 100% showcasing in single-screen and two-screen cinemas. But as far as we remember, this is a rare instance where a distributor has asked for all shows even in a three-screen cinema.”

Understandably, many exhibitors have expressed reservations about this arrangement. One exhibitor, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Bollywood Hungama,

> “I don’t agree with this unreasonable demand. We understand that *Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1* is a highly anticipated film. But *Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari* also looks like a fun entertainer that will attract family audiences and youth. Hence, I’d like to play that film as well. We hope the makers of *Kantara* understand our dilemma and find a solution.”

Further details from the AA Films mail reveal even more astonishing demands for larger multiplexes. They require:

– 21 shows in four-screen theatres
– 27 shows in five-screen cinemas
– 30 shows in six-screen multiplexes
– 36 shows in seven-screen multiplexes
– 42 shows in eight-screen multiplexes
– 48 shows in nine-screen multiplexes
– A whopping 54 shows in 10-screen theatres

In addition, AA Films has asked for 100% shows in IMAX properties as well. This demand implies that *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle* will end its successful run in IMAX theatres on October 1.

This bold show-sharing request has put exhibitors in a difficult position as they try to balance the expectations of distributors and audience preferences.
