Michigan, Gonzaga face off in Players Era Championship title game

While the broader macro backdrop remains mixed, BTC’s ability to maintain higher-low structures on intraday charts is keeping bullish sentiment alive-but traders are now watching a narrow price window that could determine the BTC price action. With bulls fighting to keep BTC out of danger and a potential bullish reversal waiting far above current levels, traders are asking the same question: Is Bitcoin quietly preparing for its next explosive move, or is the market masking a correction far deeper than anyone expects? Bitcoin spent the past week navigating sharp macro-driven swings, triggered largely by the hotter-than-expected U. S. PPI print of 2. 7% versus the 2. 6% forecast. Can BTC Price Defend the $86,800 Support Today? After the recent price crash, the BTC price is trying to stabilize a decent ascending trend along the newly formed ascending trend line formed in the lower timeframes. Although the volume has halved in the past few days, the volatility is picking up again. The short price action in the short term is largely bullish and approaching a breakout that may help the price consolidate between $88,000 and $90,000. As seen in the chart above, the price in the hourly timeframe has reached the upper edge of an ascending triangle. The Bollinger bands are also moving in parallel, suggesting a range-bound consolidation is still in play. On the other hand, the MACD shows the bulls being active as the levels remain within the positive range despite bearish crossovers at frequent intervals. Currently, the token appears to be in an accumulation phase, while the range-bound consolidation between $87,200 and $87,800 is believed to prevail throughout the trading day. A Crucial Day for BTC as Macro Signals Drive the Next Move Bitcoin’s next move hinges on how the market digests today’s macro cues. The U. S. equity open, Treasury yield swings, and fresh ETF inflow data will heavily influence intraday sentiment. If BTC holds above $86,200, buyers could attempt a push toward $88,000-$88,500, with a breakout above $87,800 potentially opening the path to $89,500. But any loss of support could trigger a slide toward $85,500, especially if futures liquidations spike. CFP rankings: Same top five, Oregon moves to No. 6
The top five of the College Football Playoff rankings did not change Tuesday, while Oregon was bumped one spot to No. 6 as a reward for defeating ranked rival Southern California over the weekend. Oregon’s move came at the expense of Ole Miss, which slipped to No. 7 on an idle week (and amid the saga of whether Rebels coach Lane Kiffin will leave the team for LSU or Florida after the season). The Ducks’ 42-27 home win over the Trojans became the best victory on Oregon’s resume. In his interview on ESPN’s broadcast, CFP chair Hunter Yurachek talked around the question of whether the committee would penalize Ole Miss if Kiffin left the school before the playoff. “We would not have seen the team play without a coach,” Yurachek said. Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Georgia and Texas Tech once again constituted the top five. Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Alabama and BYU remained Nos. 8-11. Alabama was the final at-large team in the mock bracket, and BYU was the first team to miss the cut. Behind them, Miami moved one spot past Utah for No. 12. Even though the Hurricanes cannot qualify for the ACC championship game, they represented the league in the bracket as a placeholder for one of the five highest-ranked conference champs. Miami defeated Virginia Tech 34-17 on the road last Saturday, while Utah got a scare from visiting Kansas State and had to rally to win 51-47. With the move, Miami is still three spots behind Notre Dame, a team it beat head to head to open the season. Yurachek made clear the committee prefers Notre Dame’s full body of work. “(Miami and Notre Dame) were compared this week in the same pod with Alabama and a one-loss BYU,” Yurachek said, “and the committee still feels that Notre Dame is a complete team, has been consistent throughout the season, and deserves to be ranked where they are at No. 9 ahead of Alabama, a really good two-loss team with some great wins, and then a one-loss BYU team, and then Miami falls in accordingly.” Yurachek went on to praise Miami quarterback Carson Beck’s recent performance and pointed out that the Hurricanes have been the rankings’ biggest riser, from No. 18 in the initial rankings on Nov. 4 to No. 12 this week. Oregon’s move up to No. 6 created a juicy first-round matchup in the mock bracket vs. 11th seed Miami. That would pit Miami coach Mario Cristobal against his former school. It also created a potential first-round matchup between SEC rivals Ole Miss and Alabama in the 7-10 game. Tulane remained at No. 24 as the only non-power-conference team in the Top 25. The Green Wave area the projected American Conference champion and the No. 12 seed in the bracket for the second week running. There is still room for chaos in the final week of the regular season. Nine of the top 10 teams have to go on the road and many play their rivals including Ohio State at No. 15 Michigan, Indiana at Purdue, Texas A&M at No. 16 Texas, Georgia at No. 23 Georgia Tech and Alabama at Auburn. Kiffin will be coaching the Rebels in the Egg Bowl at Mississippi State on Friday, and his decision of whether to leave or stay with the program is expected to come the following day. Birds are ranked by the percent of sites visited from Nov. 8 to Nov. 21. Ties are broken by the average group size when seen, any further ties were not broken. Data was collected at 169 count sites in Missouri. States with less than 10 count sites were not included in rankings for each bird. Project FeederWatch, a citizen science project where participants collect data on birds at their feeders, was founded in Ontario by Erica Dunn and the Long Point Bird Observatory in 1976. The project partnered with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology after 10 years to scale the project across the U. S. and Canada and now has over 20, 000 participants. Lakers’ JJ Redick hopes Deandre Ayton will rejoin lineup by end of week
LOS ANGELES Lakers starting center Deandre Ayton was not available for Tuesday night’s home game against the Clippers, but the team hopes to have him back by the end of the week. Coach JJ Redick said during his pregame media availability that Ayton, who sat out Tuesday because of a right knee contusion, was experiencing swelling and had a bruise but that imaging on the knee came back “clean.” Ayton suffered the injury when he got hit in the knee during the first half of Sunday’s road win against the Utah Jazz. He sat out the second half because of the injury. “Don’t think it’s going to be a long-term thing,” Redick said. “Hopefully it’s a game-to-game thing, and he’s back at some point by the end of the week.” Tuesday was Ayton’s second missed game of the season. O. A. T. [greatest of all time]. To be able to share the court with him, especially being a G League team, that’s so outside of the normal of anything. It was crazy. But I think it just shows how connected the two programs are, and it’s super cool. He came down, and that’s our job, was to help him get back, to get back into game speed. So we were just glad to help. And it was really cool to be able to hoop with him.” Timme added that he was able to learn from James during the practices. “Especially with this new role that I’ve had with South Bay, especially like being more of a ball handler and playing more on the perimeter and stuff, just how he was able to get to his spots,” he said. “He just looked like he was never sped up, the game’s in slow motion for him, and to see him, how he attacked different things, I was just kind of watching as a fan and a student, and it was cool.”.
