Modified Euro 1985 BMW 325e Coupe 5-Speed at No Reserve

This 1985 BMW 325e is a European-market coupe that was fitted with an M3-style body kit and refinished in white before being imported to the US. The seller acquired the car in 2022. Powered by a 2.7-liter inline-six engine linked to a five-speed manual transmission, this E30 coupe features several notable modifications and upgrades.

The exterior showcases an M3-style fiberglass body kit, including a rear wing, front splitter, and revised bodywork. Additional details include smoked quad headlights and front turn signals, a twin-exit exhaust setup, and a power-operated sunroof. The 15″ wheels are wrapped in 205/55 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires, complemented by aftermarket dampers and a front sway bar to enhance handling. Some exterior blemishes are documented in the photo gallery below.

Inside, the cabin is furnished with front sport seats and a rear bench upholstered in black leather. The front seats and the M-Technic I steering wheel were reupholstered under prior ownership. Equipment highlights include an M-branded shift knob, manual-crank windows, and a JVC CD stereo for entertainment. Damage to the dashboard is visible in the gallery. The M-Technic I steering wheel frames a replacement instrument cluster, featuring a 240 km/h speedometer and a tachometer. However, the fuel level and temperature gauges work intermittently, and the “oil service” message remains illuminated.

The odometer displays 232,000 kilometers (~144,000 miles), with roughly 2,000 kilometers added under the current owner. The total mileage prior to that is unknown.

Under the hood, the factory-rated 2.7-liter M20B27 inline-six produces 120 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque. The car is fitted with aftermarket exhaust components. The seller also notes that the five-speed manual transmission received a replacement clutch in 2021.

This E30 coupe is offered at no reserve with a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name. The Carfax report confirms that the vehicle has no history of accidents or other damage.

Overall, this 1985 BMW 325e presents a unique blend of classic European styling enhanced with sporty M3-inspired modifications, making it a desirable option for enthusiasts looking for a distinctive and well-maintained E30 coupe.

1991 BMW 325iX Touring 5-Speed

This 1991 BMW 325iX Touring is a European-market example imported to the US from Switzerland in 2019 by its previous owner. The seller purchased the car on Bring a Trailer (BaT) in December 2021. Since then, work totaling over $28,000 has been completed, including the installation of a Dinan ECU chip and TC Kline suspension, an interior refresh, and an R134a air-conditioning conversion. Additional maintenance involved replacing the flex joint, alternator, power steering pressure line, front control arms, tires, various powertrain seals and gaskets, and more.

Power is delivered by a 2.5-liter M20 inline-six engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. The car is finished in Salmon Silver Metallic over black leather upholstery and rides on 15″ basketweave alloy wheels. Other features include Euro-spec headlights, fog lights, a rear wiper, a Panasonic CD stereo, and power front windows.

Originally factory-finished in Sterling Silver Metallic (244), the car was repainted in Salmon Silver Metallic under prior ownership following rust and dent repairs. Exterior details include European-market headlights, fog lights, a rear spoiler, rear-window wiper, and tinted rear windows. The tailgate was repainted and fitted with a replacement glass seal in July 2025 by AG Custom Restorations of Downey, California. At that time, the rear tow hitch was removed. The seller notes some dings and the absence of the cover for the front tow-eye receiver.

The silver-finished 15″ basketweave alloy wheels were fitted with 205/55 Yokohama Advan Fleva tires in February 2024. The TC Kline suspension kit was installed in 2021 by Marc Norris’s Bavarian Workshop in West Hills, California. Braking is managed by ventilated front discs and solid rear discs equipped with Bosch ABS. Additional suspension work includes the installation of 15mm rear-spring perches and replacement of front control arms, bushings, and brake-pad wear sensors.

Inside, the replacement front seats and split-folding rear bench are upholstered in black leather. A 2021 interior refresh, costing approximately $10,000, included new Anthracite carpeting and trim repairs. The air conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant in 2023. The cabin also features a Panasonic CD stereo, onboard computer, and power front windows with manual rear roll-up windows. Switchgear and wiring for front-seat heating are present, although the seats themselves are not equipped with heating elements.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 240 km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,250 rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 194,000 kilometers (approximately 121,000 miles), with roughly 4,400 kilometers added under current ownership. The seller confirms that the odometer gears have been replaced.

The 2.5-liter M20B25 inline-six engine was reportedly overhauled in 2020 and received a Dinan ECU chip in late 2021 at Bavarian Workshop. A new fuel pump has also been fitted. Since 2023, JMP Autowerkz of Canoga Park has performed service work including replacement of the alternator, upper radiator hose, power steering pressure line, fuel hoses, accessory belts, downstream exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover gasket, and oil pan gasket. The battery was replaced in April 2025, and a new muffler was installed in July 2025.

Power is distributed to all four wheels via the five-speed manual transmission, which features an open front differential and viscous-coupling center and rear differentials. The clutch was replaced in 2020, accompanied by flywheel resurfacing. Additional transmission-related maintenance under current ownership includes replacement of the output and selector-rod seals, driveshaft flex disc, left-rear differential output seal, left axle seal, and right-front CV joint boots by JMP Autowerkz.

The car comes with owner’s manuals, service records from current ownership (2021-2025), and spare keys. A Carfax report is available and is free from accident or damage entries. The vehicle has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair or the Air Resources Board.

This well-maintained, meticulously serviced 1991 BMW 325iX Touring offers classic E30 touring style combined with thoughtful upgrades and detailed upkeep, making it a desirable choice for enthusiasts and collectors alike. It is now offered for sale in California.
