A Wisconsin jury couldn’t find a man guilty of committing a double murder . even though the police say he confessed to the crimes. Tony Haase — a 54-year-old man — was acquitted on a pair of murder charges in August reports about the crimes. During this interrogation, cops claim Haase revealed a connection between himself and Togstad . explaining their fathers were friends until his dad died in a snowmobile accident — in which Togstad’s dad was also involved — about 15 years prior to the two murders. Cops say he admitted to drinking on the night the murders occurred while heading in the direction of Togstad’s house. Subsequently, prosecutors charged Haase with two counts of first-degree murder. His lawyers argued Tony was coerced into a false confession by cops during these interrogations . and, they also claimed his uncle — Jeff Thiel, who died in 1995 — actually killed Tanna and Timothy. Jeff’s daughter Heather has said she believes her father committed the murders. Haase’s team also pointed the finger at convicted murderer Glendon Gouker . who actually admitted to killing the two in 2013 — though prosecutors argued he had a history of making false confessions. In August 2025, a jury found Haase not guilty of the two murders . though Tanna’s brother Richard Togstad has since filed a civil lawsuit for $17 million against him. Haase has denied all wrongdoing.

Luka Doncic Predicted to Reunite With Ex-Teammate on Lakers
Seventh-year Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic has been widely predicted to reunite with Daniel Gafford, his former teammate on the Dallas Mavericks, before the NBA trade deadline on February 5.
ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel first reported that the Lakers will pursue Gafford to bolster their depth at the center position behind Deandre Ayton. “One of the teams with strong interest in Gafford dating back to last season is the Los Angeles Lakers, sources said,” Siegel reported on November 7. “Could we see a reunion between Luka Doncic and Gafford in Los Angeles in February?”
Following this, several analysts and fans urged the Lakers to pursue Gafford, given the big man’s proven chemistry with Doncic. Gafford was a key piece of the Mavericks team that made it to the 2024 NBA Finals, averaging 9.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks through 22 postseason games a few seasons ago.
### Lakers Could Pursue Gafford
Noah Weber of The Smoking Cuban believes that Mavericks fans would be heartbroken if the Nico Harrison-led front office trades Gafford to the Lakers, especially considering the historic Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis trade less than a year ago.
“Seeing him join Doncic once again would break Mavericks fans to the core, but this has seemed like a realistic option for months due to Gafford’s dynamic with Doncic, as well as the Lakers’ team needs,” wrote Weber. “Los Angeles has gotten great production out of Deandre Ayton, but bringing in Gafford would be a major upgrade over Jaxson Hayes.”
Weber also highlighted the strong bond between Gafford and Doncic, noting that Gafford expressed interest in teaming up with Doncic on Team Slovenia. While a trade to the Lakers may be ideal for both Gafford and the Lakers, it would be a tough blow for Mavericks fans.
### Mavericks Not Interested?
This season, Gafford is averaging 8.8 points and 4.4 rebounds but has become somewhat ineffectual on a Mavericks team lacking a true floor general. Dallas currently ranks 29th in offensive efficiency, a situation unlikely to improve until Kyrie Irving returns from his ACL injury.
On paper, trading Gafford makes sense for the Mavericks, given their front-court depth with Derek Lively II, Anthony Davis, and Dwight Powell—not to mention the size advantage on the wings provided by P.J. Washington and Cooper Flagg.
However, the Mavericks reportedly may not be willing to part with Gafford. Over the weekend, NBA insider Marc Stein dismissed rumors of a potential reunion between Doncic and Gafford, citing Lively’s knee injury as a key factor.
“External interest in Gafford is sure to surface, league sources say, but the Mavericks to this point have not entertained the idea of trading him,” Stein wrote on his Substack. “How could they, with Derek Lively II, their would-be center of the future, limited to just three games played thus far due to a knee sprain?”
As the trade deadline approaches, the Lakers’ pursuit of Gafford remains a storyline to watch, with potential implications for both teams and their fanbases.

Kieran Culkin and wife Jazz Charton welcome baby No. 3 after actor’s public pleas for more kids
Kieran Culkin’s family just got bigger, months after he publicly expressed his desire for more children with wife Jazz Charton.
The actor’s “Succession” co-star, Sarah Snook, revealed in an interview with Access Hollywood that Culkin and Charton have welcomed their third child together. “Oh, and I met the little baby. So cute,” Snook said of the newest addition to the Culkin family. “They’re very happy and so cute,” she added.
Culkin’s representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The couple, who married in June 2013, are already parents to daughter Kinsey, 6, and son Wilder, 4. Their children were born in September 2019 and August 2021, respectively.
Three years ago, Culkin publicly shared his wish for more kids during an Emmys acceptance speech. The “Succession” star, 43, joked, “You said maybe if I win,” referring to a promise his wife made.
Charton later poked fun at the moment in a January 2024 Instagram post, where she highlighted the “exact moment [she] realized [she] may have made a huge mistake” by jokingly saying, “We can have another baby if you ever win an Emmy.”
Culkin referenced this headline-making moment again at the Oscars the following year, making another public plea for more children. “About a year ago, I was on a stage like this and I very stupidly, publicly said that I wanted a third kid from [Jazz] because she said that if I won the award that she would give me the kid,” he recalled in March.
The Golden Globe winner shared, “She said that because she didn’t think I was going to win. After the show, we were walking through the parking lot and she goes, ‘Oh god I did say that! I guess I owe you a third kid!’ and I turned to her and I said, ‘Really, I want four.’”
Culkin said his wife replied, “I will give you four when you win an Oscar.” He continued with a smile, “I held my hand out, she shook it and I have not brought it up once until just now. Jazz, the love of my life, ye of little faith, no pressure. I love you. I’m really sorry I did this again. And let’s get cracking on those kids. What do you say?”
Six months after this exchange, Charton debuted her baby bump at the premiere of “Waiting for Godot.” The 37-year-old shared with her Instagram followers that she was nine months pregnant, joking that she had “made a deal with this baby to let me make it to [the Broadway show] before labor.” She added, “Not sure what it wants in return but I’m CLEARLY a woman of my word.”
Charton and Culkin have been together since they met at a bar in New York City in 2012.
Initially, the “A Real Pain” star wasn’t sure about having children. In a 2018 interview with iNews, he revealed that parenthood seemed “like a lot to take on” and that children weren’t “really on [their] horizon” at the time.
Now, with three children and more possibly on the way, it seems Culkin and Charton are embracing their growing family with love and humor.

46-year-old star responds to claim she got fired from AEW for trying to poach talent to WWE
A 46-year-old wrestling personality, Sarah Stock, was recently accused by a social media user of attempting to convince AEW performers to jump ship to WWE. The Canadian star has since disputed the claim.
Stock began her journey inside the squared circle back in 2002. Over the next several years, she performed across a variety of promotions including AAA, Shimmer, CMLL, and TNA. She also wrestled for JDStar and World Wonder Ring Stardom in Japan.
In 2023, Sarah was introduced as one of AEW’s new coaches and producers. However, she was released by the Tony Khan-led promotion this past April.
Sarah recently made headlines when she voiced her criticism of a brutal spot from Jon Moxley’s “I Quit” match against Darby Allin at WrestleDream 2025. The former AEW World Champion forcefully dipped the face-painted star’s head into an aquarium full of water in a bid to weaken him. Following this, Stock found herself embroiled in a series of quarrels with dissenting voices on social media. At one point, she even defended former WWE chairman Vince McMahon despite the numerous allegations against him.
In response to a social media claim that she was fired by AEW for encouraging its talent to cross over to WWE, Sarah took to X/Twitter to clarify her past job title and dispute the accusation. She wrote:
“If you haven’t learned that you’re replicating the pattern of conformity, you may find yourself stuck in the loop forever.”
Meanwhile, WWE legend Matt Hardy also reacted to Jon Moxley’s spot at AEW WrestleDream. While Sarah Stock explicitly expressed her disapproval of Moxley dunking Darby Allin’s head under water during their match, Hardy offered a less severe assessment.
On a recent edition of his Extreme Life podcast, Matt insisted that while the spot was not the best he had seen on television, it was no more problematic than many other similarly violent spots performed across wrestling promotions.
“I saw the spot and by no means do I think that this is the worst thing that [All Elite Wrestling] has ever done. Sure, it’s not the greatest thing I’ve seen on TV but I mean you can say that from TNA, you can say that from WWE. There’ve been incidents that have happened across all these places where there’ve been controversial things that kids should not try at home,” said Matt.
It remains to be seen what lies next in Darby Allin’s ongoing blood feud with Jon Moxley on All Elite programming.
