CLINTON, S.C. (AP) — Jonah Pierce scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Presbyterian in a 91-64 victory over Truett McConnell on Sunday. The win improved the Blue Hose’s record to 7-8.

AMHERST, Mass. (AP) — Marcus Banks scored 26 points to lead UMass to a 94-80 victory over Le Moyne on Thursday.

Banks shot 9 of 17 from the field, including 5 for 10 from three-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the free-throw line to help the Minutemen improve to 2-1. K’Jei Parker contributed 19 points, shooting an efficient 6 for 7 from the field, including a perfect 3 for 3 from beyond the arc, and was flawless from the free-throw line, hitting all 4 attempts.
