CLINTON, S.C. (AP) — Jonah Pierce scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Presbyterian in a 91-64 victory over Truett McConnell on Sunday. The win improved the Blue Hose’s record to 7-8.

Triston Wilson also contributed 18 points, shooting 6-for-12 from the field, including 1-for-4 from three-point range, and was perfect from the free-throw line, hitting all five attempts. Wilson additionally dished out six assists.

Carl Parrish added 16 points for Presbyterian, going 5-for-11 from the floor, with an impressive 4-for-7 performance from beyond the arc.

For the Bears, Shawn Walker led the team with 17 points and eight rebounds. Jadon Yeh also made an impact, scoring 12 points and providing four assists.

Banks has 26, UMass defeats Le Moyne 94-80

AMHERST, Mass. (AP) — Marcus Banks scored 26 points to lead UMass to a 94-80 victory over Le Moyne on Thursday.

Banks shot 9 of 17 from the field, including 5 for 10 from three-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the free-throw line to help the Minutemen improve to 2-1. K’Jei Parker contributed 19 points, shooting an efficient 6 for 7 from the field, including a perfect 3 for 3 from beyond the arc, and was flawless from the free-throw line, hitting all 4 attempts. Parker also dished out five assists.

Leonardo Bettiol added 17 points for UMass, making 7 of 11 shots and 3 of 6 free throws.

For Le Moyne (1-3), Jakai Sanders finished with 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Trent Mosquera contributed 15 points, six rebounds, and three steals, while Deng Garang tallied 14 points, four assists, and six steals.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Deuce Jones led Saint Joseph’s (PA) to a 76-65 victory over Drexel on Saturday, scoring 29 points off the bench. Jones was highly efficient, shooting 7 for 11 from the field, including a perfect 3 for 3 from beyond the arc, and converting 12 of 13 free throws to help the Hawks improve to 2-0.

Dasear Haskins contributed 15 points and six rebounds, while Anthony Finkley added 13 points, shooting 3 for 11 overall and 2 for 6 from three-point range, along with 5 of 6 from the free-throw line.
