This felt like a culmination of two separate worlds. Letlive. embodied the post-hardcore scene for the last twenty years and Taking Back Sunday the emo scene. Seeing them together on stage was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Both bands were stellar and delivered some of their best performances yet. Letlive. was, to no one’s surprise, stellar beyond belief. Jason Alan Butler has gained notoriety through all his bands as being one of the most captivating front man. He threw the bass drum, kicked over mic stands, and used his spilled water as a slip-n-slide across the stage. Every second of their set was captivating. Taking Back Sunday unveiled their new mega-lineup. This was the first time fans got to see both Fred Mascherino [from Where You Want To Be and Louder Now] and John Nolan [from the rest of their discography] play side-by-side. It felt like all eras of the seminal band colliding. They sounded fantastic and the new songs fit seamlessly next to their hits. We were fortunate enough to send our photographer @LiveOnToor out to capture the chaos. Please enjoy our gallery below. Letlive. Taking Back Sunday.

UFC 322 video: Kyle Daukuas drops Gerald Meerschaert, chokes him out for blistering 50 second finish
Kyle Daukaus is making the most of his second stint in the UFC. After making short work of Michel Pereira in his return fight, Daukaus effectively did the same thing to Gerald Meerschaert at UFC 322 on Saturday.
Daukaus scored a knockdown on the feet after connecting with a blistering left hand and then quickly snatched a D’arce choke, which forced Meerschaert to tap out just 50 seconds into the opening round.
Following his release from the UFC after back-to-back losses, Daukaus has now scored six wins in a row, including two victories in the octagon with less than two minutes total time spent in the cage.
“I’m living the dream right now,” Daukaus said after the win. “The way my life is, it’s been amazing. We knew that he was going to be grappling heavy. I’m getting very comfortable in my striking and it’s showing. I knew once I tagged him, we’d follow up and get the finish.”
As soon as he left the UFC, Daukaus went on a mission to earn his way back, and he’s definitely done that with the performances that got him signed back to the roster, along with a pair of jaw-dropping wins since returning.
Daukaus put together a perfectly timed combination that ended with a punch that rattled Meerschaert, and he followed that with a few more strikes to put his opponent down. Rather than hammer away with strikes, Daukaus saw the opening for the D’arce choke and secured the submission instead.
With the win, Daukaus moves to 17-4 with one no contest, and he’s looking like a real problem for the middleweight division in his return.

Madison Keys vs Amanda Anisimova Preview
Madison Keys and Amanda Anisimova will face off in their second group stage match of the WTA Finals. Keys captured her first Grand Slam title this year by winning the Australian Open. She also reached the semifinals at Indian Wells and the quarterfinals in Montreal. However, the American was surprisingly defeated by Renata Zarazua in the first round of the US Open and this marks her return to the tour after a two-month break.
Keys began her campaign in Riyadh with a lackluster performance against Iga Swiatek, suffering a 6-1, 6-2 defeat. She struggled to find her rhythm and will be desperate to raise her level in the upcoming match.
On the other hand, Amanda Anisimova has had a remarkable season. She won the title in Doha and finished as runner-up at both Wimbledon and the US Open. Additionally, she claimed the title in Beijing and reached the last 16 in Montreal. Anisimova’s start to the WTA Finals was underwhelming as she lost to Elena Rybakina 6-3, 6-1 in the first round.
The fourth seed will be eager to bounce back and solve the challenge posed by Keys in this high-stakes encounter.
Head-to-Head
The head-to-head record between Madison Keys and Amanda Anisimova stands at 0-0. This will be their first competitive meeting on tour.
Madison Keys vs Amanda Anisimova Odds
All odds are sourced from Oddschecker.
Prediction
Madison Keys missed the Asian hardcourt swing and appears to be struggling with match fitness in Riyadh. Her performance against Swiatek was underwhelming, and she will know that she must elevate her game in the next round. Keys is one of the cleanest hitters on tour, which could prove pivotal.
Amanda Anisimova, meanwhile, has impressed this year with consistent and powerful performances. Having narrowly missed out twice on winning a Major title, she will carry that momentum forward into the next season. With her all-around strong game, Anisimova can beat any opponent on tour.
In this All-American clash, Anisimova is a slight favorite. At just 24 years old, she has shown more consistency than Keys and should be able to emerge victorious.
Pick: Amanda Anisimova to win in straight sets.
Betting Tips
- Tip 1: Match to have fewer than 20 games.
- Tip 2: Anisimova to register more winners than Keys.
India’s predicted playing XI for the 1st T20I vs Australia ft. Shivam Dube & Arshdeep Singh
India are all set to face off against Australia in the first T20I at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Wednesday, October 29. The Men in Blue come into this match on the back of a 2-1 loss in the preceding three-match ODI series.
Despite the recent setback in ODIs, India have been in excellent form in the shortest format lately. They clinched the 2025 Asia Cup in fairly comfortable fashion and are also the defending champions of the T20 World Cup. Given their strong recent performances, the visitors aren’t expected to make many changes to the side that has brought them success.
### India’s T20I Squad for the Australia Tour
– Suryakumar Yadav (captain)
– Abhishek Sharma
– Shubman Gill (vice-captain)
– Tilak Varma
– Nitish Kumar Reddy
– Shivam Dube
– Axar Patel
– Jitesh Sharma (wk)
– Varun Chakaravarthy
– Jasprit Bumrah
– Arshdeep Singh
– Kuldeep Yadav
– Harshit Rana
– Sanju Samson (wk)
– Rinku Singh
– Washington Sundar
### Predicted Playing XI for the First T20I against Australia
**Openers:** Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma
India have stuck with Shubman Gill despite his indifferent performances in the 2025 Asia Cup. The vice-captain will open the innings, taking the first strike alongside Abhishek Sharma, who is currently in red-hot form.
**Middle Order:** Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Sanju Samson (wk), Nitish Kumar Reddy
Hardik Pandya’s absence leaves a huge void, and India may look to fill it by selecting Nitish Kumar Reddy as a like-for-like replacement. Reddy has been declared fit after missing the third ODI due to a quad strain.
The rest of the middle order is expected to maintain a similar structure. Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav will complete the top four, with Yadav facing some pressure to deliver runs. Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson, and Axar Patel, who batted out of position for most of the Asia Cup, are likely to retain their spots for now.
Meanwhile, Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma could start the series on the bench. There is a possibility that India may opt to replace either Nitish Kumar Reddy or Shivam Dube with a specialist seamer like Harshit Rana, but that would reduce batting depth and go against the team’s recent approach.
**Lower Order:** Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakaravarthy
Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh are expected to lead India’s pace attack in Canberra. The team is likely to pick Varun Chakaravarthy over Kuldeep Yadav as the specialist spinner.
Although omitting Kuldeep might seem like a questionable decision, India may prioritize bowling depth and pace options by sticking with this familiar combination.

Young Thug Raged with Fans During Day 2 of ComplexCon 2025
After a raucous Day 1, it was clear from the start that the crowd for ComplexCon Day 2 was different. Fans in beat-up Rick Owens boots, flared pants, and Sp5der hoodies packed the venue. The energy was electric — hours before the performances even began, people were already pressed against the barricades, fighting for the best view of a stacked lineup featuring 2hollis, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and Young Thug. Here’s a rundown of everything that went down on Day 2.
### 2hollis
As the lights dimmed and 2hollis’ massive inflatable tiger sprawled across the stage, fans with black mascara streaks across their noses—a nod to the young star’s signature aesthetic—surged toward the front. 2hollis came out and launched into his opener, “flash,” which ignited mosh pits and waves of jumping fans moving in unison.
2hollis is one to celebrate with friends, so he brought out both Nate Sib and Rommulus to perform tracks with him; the three bounced around the stage as girls in the audience shrieked, especially when Hollis took off his shirt. As the set began to wind down, the crowd started chanting for one song in particular. It wouldn’t be a 2hollis performance without the young star running “JEANS” back multiple times; on this night, he played it three times in a row.
### Central Cee
Central Cee followed after, hitting the stage performing his breakout hit “Doja.” He pulled off an impressive, professional performance, rapping the lyrics to each track without depending on backing vocals. After “Doja,” he mostly focused on songs from *Can’t Rush Greatness*, with the highlight being his rendition of “GBP.”
Near the end, Cench picked up an iPhone that had been placed on the stage and made a real FaceTime call to a staff member, who held it up to the crowd as the call was broadcast on the big screens. The moment made his show feel more personal, as he locked eyes with the audience while performing one of his most vulnerable and intimate tracks, “Gen Z Luv.”
### Ken Carson
You could feel Ken Carson’s presence throughout the weekend. Earlier on Day 2, Ken walked the show floor to check out his own ComplexCon booth—with a full mob of fans following him around.
Ken Carson came out to “Lord of Chaos,” which immediately set off a wide mosh pit. At times, Ken stepped fully into the chaos, letting the beat ride as he perched on the edge of the stage, staring into the pit and watching the madness unfold.
At one point, a fan jumped the barrier and rushed the stage, getting within a few feet of Ken before security body-slammed him off. Ken soon followed with “Fighting My Demons.” As the intro played, hundreds of phone lights lit up the arena. On either side of the stage, three or four pits erupted as the “mosh pit controllers” whistled and signaled the chaos to begin.
For his closer, Ken didn’t disappoint—his connection with the crowd is so strong that he doesn’t even have to tell them to open the pits. One screech into the mic, and the fans know exactly what to do.
### Young Thug
And then there was one: Young Thug, who has only performed a handful of times since being released from jail, closed out the weekend with one hell of a show.
His set began with the intro from his latest album *UY SCUTI*, “Ninja,” which samples a prosecutor warning the judge during his trial not to release him: “He’s the one that’s King Slime—he’s pulling the shots.” As the skit played, Thug slowly rose from beneath the stage.
He opened with “Surf,” with flames shooting up from the stage as Thug delivered all the high-pitched inflections you expect. He then moved into other crowd favorites, including the 2019 TikTok hit “OUT WEST” and “Digits.”
Thug brought out multiple guests, including Ty Dolla $ign, Quavo (performing “Bad and Boujee”), Lil Gotit, 1300SAINT, and Tezzus. In recent years, he has tapped into the underground rap scene, collaborating with rising artists like Nineviscous and 1300SAINT.
After speculation about Tezzus signing with YSL, Thug confirmed it live, co-signing him onstage as he performed the Diamond song “bada bing, bada bØØm.”
Thug then halted the show to encourage bigger mosh pits. He was satisfied with the right side but had “issues with the left.” He then jumped off the stage and into the pit himself.
“This was not a good idea,” he laughed into the mic as fans scrambled to get selfies. “I did not come over here to take pictures. I came over here to fuckg rage,” he yelled.

Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss ties Johnny Manziel in SEC history with monster performance vs. Oklahoma
The No. 8 Ole Miss Rebels secured a significant 34-26 victory over the No. 13 Oklahoma Sooners in Week 9 on Saturday. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss delivered yet another standout performance, leading his team to its seventh win of the season.
Chambliss’ recent play has been so impressive that he has now tied a unique SEC record held by Texas A&M legend Johnny Manziel. The 23-year-old senior threw for 315 passing yards and added 53 rushing yards against the Sooners. This marked the fourth time this season that Chambliss has surpassed 300 passing yards and 50 rushing yards in a single game.
According to Eli Lederman of ESPN, this achievement ties Chambliss for the second-most such performances in SEC history, alongside Manziel. In his sixth start for Ole Miss, Chambliss completed 24 of 44 pass attempts for 315 yards, and gained 53 rushing yards on 12 carries. ESPN Research confirms that this outing was his fourth game with at least 300 passing yards and 50 rushing yards this fall—matching Manziel’s mark from 2012 over the past 30 years.
Chambliss is a transfer quarterback who originally played at the Division II level for Ferris State. During his three seasons with the Bulldogs, he was highly successful, amassing 3,279 passing yards, 1,323 rushing yards, and a total of 60 touchdowns (31 passing and 29 rushing).
Since joining Ole Miss, Chambliss has emerged as a star. In eight games with the Rebels, he has thrown for 1,864 yards and nine touchdowns, completing 61.0% of his passes. He has also contributed 376 rushing yards and five rushing scores.
Looking ahead, Chambliss will have the opportunity to surpass Johnny Manziel’s record in Week 10 when Ole Miss faces the South Carolina Gamecocks. As long as Chambliss maintains his high level of play, the Rebels should be considered a legitimate contender for the College Football Playoff.

“My wife was pregnant…I made the decision to stay home” – Iga Swiatek’s coach Wim Fissette reveals how Azarenka pulled him out of his darkest phase
**Wim Fissette Opens Up About Victoria Azarenka’s Role During a Dark Phase in His Life**
Iga Swiatek’s coach, Wim Fissette, recently revealed how Victoria Azarenka played a crucial role in helping him overcome a difficult period in his life. The Belgian coach had initially decided to stay home when his wife was pregnant, but a call from the Belarusian star changed everything.
During his playing career, Fissette did not reach the top echelons of the tour. As a coach, he admitted on the *Inside In* podcast that earning respect in the locker room was a challenge, especially when compared to Hall of Fame players who transitioned into coaching. It took him time to fully believe in his place guiding some of the world’s top players.
Fissette credited Victoria Azarenka for supporting him through a pivotal moment. “One of the players that really kind of helped me with that was actually Vika [Victoria Azarenka]. It was a very important moment in my career where I almost made the decision to stay more home and not be on the tour again. My wife was pregnant at that time, and things didn’t go too well on the tour for me,” he said (from 21:20).
He recalled how Azarenka’s confidence in both him and his family — allowing them to travel with him on tour — showed him it was possible to balance coaching at the highest level alongside a stable family life. “And then I got a call from Vika, and I don’t know, she was so confident in me and also about my family, that my family could travel wherever they wanted, always could join me. And you know, that was really special. And Vika believed in me so much and that’s why also after she gave birth, I went back because we had such a great partnership. I really enjoyed that,” Fissette added.
Although he was not part of Azarenka’s Grand Slam victories, the duo worked together for a total of three years, spanning both her pre- and post-pregnancy periods.

### Wim Fissette’s Coaching Career: From Early Success with Kim Clijsters to Iga Swiatek’s Wimbledon Triumph
Wim Fissette began his coaching career after serving as a hitting partner for Kim Clijsters. He quickly transitioned to coaching her and guided Clijsters to major success, including US Open titles in 2009 and 2010, as well as the Australian Open in 2011. Their partnership established Fissette as a rising star on the WTA tour.
Following Clijsters, Fissette worked with players such as Sabine Lisicki and Simona Halep, helping them reach deep runs in major tournaments. He then joined Victoria Azarenka’s team, coaching her until her pregnancy. After her maternity break, Fissette returned to help Azarenka regain her form.
In between his two stints with Azarenka, he coached Angelique Kerber, guiding the former World No. 1 to the 2018 Wimbledon title. Fissette later worked with Naomi Osaka, securing victories at the 2020 US Open and the 2021 Australian Open. He also coached Qinwen Zheng, producing strong performances before returning to Osaka’s team.
Most recently, Fissette began coaching Iga Swiatek, playing a key role in her impressive Wimbledon triumph.
Over the years, Wim Fissette has worked with multiple top players, consistently achieving major results and cementing his reputation as one of the sport’s most accomplished coaches.

Sabrina Carpenter hosts ‘SNL,’ and Domingo returns (again) in a politics-less cold open
Pop star Sabrina Carpenter hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the first time ever, but it sure didn’t feel like it. Carpenter was the musical guest last year when Jake Gyllenhaal hosted, and at the 50th anniversary special, she performed with Paul Simon and appeared in a sketch. Whether it’s because she’s done the show both as a musician and a comedic performer (her song performances are often a mix of both) or not, Carpenter seems perfectly at ease in Studio 8H, like she’s always been there.
That served her well on an episode that started badly with a retread of a sketch that’s been done a few too many times (keyword: Domingo), and a monologue that, despite Carpenter’s charm, didn’t seem to connect with the audience. But after that, Carpenter’s quicksilver timing and ease, plus a diverse set of sketches, put the episode over the top.
She sounded just like a 12-year-old boy in a sketch about preteens hosting a podcast called “Snack Homies” with President Trump (James Austin Johnson) as a guest, sold a provocative neck pillow in a funny Shop TV sketch, performed a pretaped “Grind Song” with Bowen Yang, and was thrown out of a window as the host of a girlboss seminar. She scared a coworker (Ashley Padilla, quickly becoming a critical “SNL” utility player) on her birthday and played a singing and dancing washing machine alongside new cast member Veronika Slowikowska.
It also didn’t hurt that Carpenter’s two playful and well-sung musical performances, for “Manchild” and “Nobody’s Son,” were showstoppers. Her love of the show was evident: she performed the former wearing a “Live from New York” T-shirt and panties with “It’s Saturday Night!” written on the back.
The best argument for inviting Sabrina Carpenter back sometime might be that she held the show together with no outside guests or surprise cameos, which hasn’t happened on “SNL” in a long time. The only exception was a short film from “Please Don’t Destroy” writer Martin Herlihy at the end of the show that may have been about racism and Frankenstein’s Monsters (yes, plural).
—
**The Cold Open**
We’ll keep this short because the less said about this week’s cold open the better. Chloe Fineman and Andrew Dismukes returned as Matthew and Kelsey, a couple that has struggled in the past with trust issues from Kelsey’s frequent trips with her friends that usually end with a passionate affair with a guy named Domingo (Marcello Hernández).
This time, they’re celebrating Matthew’s 30th birthday, but for some reason, Kelsey has flown in her girlfriends (including Carpenter) to sing some pop songs in bad karaoke style about a recent weekend they spent in Nashville. The songs were modeled after Taylor Swift’s “Fate of Ophelia,” Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra,” and Alex Warren’s “Ordinary Song.” The ladies went to Nashville and, of course, Domingo is still around.
“This is strike six,” Matthew cries haplessly. “Babe, it won’t happen again,” Kelsey promises. Let’s hope so. The Domingo sketches need to be put to rest.
—
**The Monologue**
Carpenter’s monologue was largely about dispelling (but not really) the notion that the singer is overly sexualized, or as she described it, a “Horndog popster.” “There’s so much more to me,” she said, “I’m not just horny. I’m also turned on.”
She made hay of the controversy over her “Man’s Best Friend” album cover by joking that it was cropped and revealing that Bowen Yang and Martin Short both originally appeared on it, with Yang pulling her up by her hair and Short pushing her away from a buffet line.
The monologue started to fizzle when Carpenter went to the audience for some interaction to prove she can have chemistry with anyone or anything, only to come back to the stage for an awkward bit with Kenan Thompson, who said he wanted a Cameo video for his niece.
Carpenter has charisma to spare, but the monologue was too disjointed to go anywhere.
—
**Best Sketch of the Night**
Does making plans to see “Plans” also scare you? Mock horror movie trailers have done well on “SNL” lately and the streak continues with “Plans,” a Blumhouse horror film featuring Ben Marshall and Carpenter as a couple horrified to realize that plans they made back on Fourth of July have suddenly come to fruition with a cousin and her husband.
As their terror grows, they remember that the cousin (Sarah Sherman) talks about marathons (“The way I see it, losing toenails is a badge of honor”) and the husband (Dismukes) likes to show off 11-minute YouTube videos.
They’re going to end up at a crowded ramen restaurant and then a bad interactive play. For anyone who’s ever regretted saying yes to socializing, this might be your worst nightmare.
—
**Also Good: The Neck Pillow Monologues**
The Shop TV sketches wouldn’t work so well if Padilla and Mikey Day didn’t do such a good job infusing their characters Bev and Rhett with such practiced professional panic when things go awry, as they’ve done before.
Carpenter appears as Virginia Duffy, a crafter who’s designed an ergonomic pillow that looks just like a giant vagina, which comes in different colors. “Why would you bring the pink one?” asks an exasperated Rhett.
By the time the faux fur lining is added and Rhett tries on the neck pillow, culminating in an unwanted baby sound effect, Shop TV has done it again.
Bonus points for Johnson as Tim Tucker, who appears at the beginning of the sketch with a trick-or-treat pail in the shape of Jesus Christ’s head. “Trick or treat, smell my feet, walk with Christ down the Halloween street,” he chants.
—
Overall, Sabrina Carpenter’s debut as an “SNL” host showcased her multifaceted talent and natural ease on stage. Despite a shaky start, her strong comedic instincts, musicality, and versatility carried the episode to a satisfying finish. It’s clear that Carpenter is not only a star in music but also a promising comedic presence on live television. We look forward to seeing her return to Studio 8H soon.

Socceroos’ Bos living the dream at boyhood club
Jordy Bos used to watch Feyenoord highlights. Now, at just 22 years old, he is one of the stars of the show. The Socceroos left-back is dominating for his boyhood club, playing under his former idol, and is just eight months away from potentially featuring in his first World Cup.
Bos, one of the pivotal pieces of the Socceroos’ future, is only just scratching the surface of his promising career. Dutch powerhouse Feyenoord, managed by former Arsenal, Manchester United, and Netherlands striker Robin van Persie, currently sit at the top of the Eredivisie table.
Since joining the Rotterdam giants in July, Bos has become the first Australian to win the Eredivisie Player of the Month award. He has also impressed fans by scoring two sublime goals. The former Melbourne City sensation is reaping the rewards of a carefully managed plan to develop his career and play regularly in Europe.
Even Bos admits he can’t believe how well things have gone since his transfer from Belgian club Westerlo, where he battled two bad hamstring injuries last year.
“When I first went there, I didn’t really know what to expect,” Bos said. “But obviously it’s a big club, so it’s always going to be hard. Before I got there, I heard that the left-back was a little bit injured so I got to play my first game for the Champions League qualifications. From there, it just kept going and then when the other left-back got back, I kept my spot a bit.”
Bos, a Melburnian of Dutch descent, comes from a family of Feyenoord fans.
“Living in Australia when I was younger, it was hard to watch the games, but I remember my dad would always put the highlights on and stuff, so we would watch that,” he said. “It’s a huge deal for my family as well. The ones that live in Holland, I think they were just as excited as I was when they heard about the news. So it’s crazy for them as well, and they always want to come watch the games and stuff like that. So it’s pretty unreal and playing for them is just an honour.”
Bos is also pinching himself that he gets to play under club great Robin van Persie.
“It’s really cool,” he said. “Watching him when I was younger as well and he’s such a big player and icon in the football world. And seeing him in real life and talking to him, and having him there, it’s pretty surreal. I really enjoy it.”
Currently, Bos has joined the Socceroos for upcoming matches against Canada in Montreal on Saturday and the United States in Colorado next Wednesday. These matches provide another chance for him to cement his starting left-back role, especially with stalwart Aziz Behich among the A-League players not selected in this squad.
With a strong World Cup on the horizon and continued impressive performances for both club and country, Bos knows more opportunities could come his way.
“Either Premier League or Bundesliga — probably one of those two,” he said when asked about his future ambitions. “But for right now, obviously, just focusing on where I am. But that’s probably the goal.”
