**Saif Ali Khan Opens Up About Terrifying Stabbing Incident at His Bandra Home**

Saif Ali Khan recently recounted the harrowing stabbing incident that took place at his Bandra residence earlier this year. The Bollywood star revealed details of the attack during an episode of the Prime Video show *Two Much* with Kajol and Twinkle, which also featured superstar Akshay Kumar.
“I barged into Jeh’s room. I saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife,” Khan shared. “I jumped on him and we started fighting, and he just started slashing all over me.”
### Family’s Reaction During the Attack
Khan’s elder son, Taimur, witnessed the frightening episode from upstairs. The actor recalled Taimur’s concerned words: “Taimur looked at me upstairs and said, ‘Oh my God! Are you going to die?’ I told him, ‘No, I don’t think so.’ But I’ve got a pain in the back. I’m not going to die, I’m fine.”
Saif Ali Khan sustained six stab wounds, including one near his spinal cord that required immediate surgery.
### Reflecting on Life Amidst Adversity
Speaking to *Esquire India*, Khan shared how he reflected on his life while injured and lying on the ground. “It could have been the adrenaline, but I remember thinking life has been colorful and I’ve been privileged to be in many places—not just in terms of money, as so many people have much more money. When I think of that rarefied atmosphere of Winchester, of all my travels with loved ones, the wine, my wife, my children,” he said.
### Arrest and Charges
The accused, identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, was arrested a few days after the attack. He faces charges of breaking into the actor’s home with intent to rob, as well as attacking Saif Ali Khan and a staff member with a wooden weapon and a blade.
