Celina Jaitly seeks Rs 10 lakhs monthly maintenance, and Rs 100 crores in damages; court to hear case on December 12
Actor Celina Jaitly’s legal team has confirmed that a domestic violence complaint has been filed against her husband Peter Haag, an Austrian national, before the Judicial Magistrate First Class in Andheri, Mumbai. The case was taken up on Tuesday for verification, following which the court issued a notice to Haag, returnable on December 12. Celina Jaitly seeks Rs 10 lakhs monthly maintenance, and Rs 100 crores in damages; court to hear case on December 12 Advocate Niharika Karanjawala, appearing for Jaitly, told ANI that the complaint details years of alleged abuse. “Yes, we filed a complaint under the Domestic Violence Act for cruelty and domestic violence, both physical and emotional, that has lasted for many years through Miss Jaitly’s marriage with Mr Peter Haag,” she said. Karanjawala added that the allegations include prolonged physical and emotional cruelty, manipulation, and coercion. Alongside the domestic violence case, separate civil proceedings are also underway in Mumbai regarding a property Jaitly owns. According to her counsel, the property’s gift deed was allegedly obtained by Haag “through coercion.” The petition seeks multiple forms of relief. “Our prayer is manifold with regards to compensation to be paid to Celina, alimony, as well as determinations with regards to her children,” Karanjawala stated. Jaitly’s primary concern, she noted, remains her three children, who are currently in Austria with Haag. As per the filing, Jaitly has requested a monthly maintenance of Rs 10 lakhs. The petition also seeks Rs 50 crores for loss of potential earnings. Karanjawala explained that this figure accounts for the period when Jaitly was allegedly compelled to stop working “at a very lucrative time in her career.” A separate sum of Rs 50 crores has been claimed for pain and suffering. The matter will now be heard on December 12, following the court’s issuance of notice to Haag. Klarna stablecoin debuts on Tempo to reshape payments
Payment giant Klarna is taking its first major step into digital assets as it prepares to launch the klarna stablecoin within a new blockchain ecosystem. What is Klarna planning with its new stablecoin? Payment solutions company Klarna has announced the launch of a new stablecoin on Tempo, an independent blockchain designed specifically for payments by Stripe and Paradigm. The project targets global retail transactions and aims to reduce frictions in cross-border commerce. According to the company, this new asset will be fully integrated into Klarna’s payment stack. Moreover, it is expected to support both online and in-store transactions, providing instant settlement and predictable pricing for consumers and merchants. How does Tempo position itself in the payments ecosystem? Tempo is being developed as an infrastructure layer dedicated to high-volume, low-cost transactions. Backed by Stripe and Paradigm, the network focuses on payments rather than speculative trading, with architecture optimized for speed, security and scalability in everyday commerce. However, the initiative also signals growing competition with traditional card networks and bank transfers. By offering programmable settlement rails, Tempo could enable new financial products while keeping transaction costs low for global users. What did Klarna’s CEO say about the crypto strategy? In a press release, Klarna CEO and co-founder Sebastian Siemiatkowski highlighted the scale of the company’s operations. “With 114 million customers and $112 billion in annual transaction volume, Klarna has the scale to transform payments globally,” he said, underlining the firm’s reach in key markets. “With Tempo’s infrastructure, we can challenge the old networks and make payments both faster and cheaper for everyone. Crypto is now fast, cheap, secure, and scalable enough. This is the beginning of Klarna’s journey into crypto, and I look forward to continuing to shape the future of payments together with Stripe and Tempo,” Siemiatkowski added, framing the move as a long-term strategic shift. When will KlarnaUSD go live on Tempo? The new asset, named KlarnaUSD, will be launched on Tempo’s main network in 2026. That said, the company has not yet disclosed technical details such as reserve structure, on-chain governance, or regulatory framework for the token. However, Klarna has confirmed that the klarna stablecoin will be native to Tempo’s settlement layer, suggesting a tight integration with merchant tools and consumer apps once the mainnet is fully operational. Moreover, the launch timeline indicates that Klarna, Stripe and Paradigm are aligning around a shared vision for next-generation digital settlement, using stable-value assets to make everyday transactions more efficient at global scale. In summary, KlarnaUSD on Tempo positions Klarna to compete more directly in the evolving crypto payments landscape, while Stripe and Paradigm reinforce their roles as core infrastructure providers for the future of blockchain-based commerce.

Windsor’s Fleur Sauvage Chocolates readies for holidays with advent calendar
For many who celebrate holidays at this time of year, the advent calendar is an exciting ritual to count down December days until Christmas. A Windsor chocolate shop has sweetened the tradition by making it all about bonbons. The shop, Fleur Sauvage Chocolates, has attracted a cult following over its Bonbon Advent Calendar, a box with 25 gourmet chocolates behind 25 little paper doors. More than 150 calendars sell for $89 apiece and are available through early December while supplies last. The bonbons are the work of chef and co-owner Robert “Buttercup” Nieto, a local chocolatier who won the Food Network’s “Holiday Wars” in 2019. And according to co-owner Tara Nieto, Robert’s wife, no two bonbons are alike in any given calendar, and several flavors change every year. “The calendar started as something small, and it has turned into something that people absolutely love,” she said. “It’s pretty special that we’ve been able to take it this far.” Origin of an idea For the uninitiated, advent calendars were originally a religious tradition for Christians to mark the coming of Jesus. Over time, however, modern versions have become more secularized and designed to appeal to people of all backgrounds. The idea behind the calendars is simple. Each calendar has 25 doors for the first 25 days of December, and participants open one door every day starting Dec. 1. Traditional advent calendars had toys, pictures, or other small trinkets behind each door. More modern versions reveal tiny nips of alcohol, jams, LEGO sets, even jewelry. The Fleur Sauvage calendar, of course, features bonbons. Robert and Tara Nieto debuted the concept for the holiday season in 2022, one year after Fleur Sauvage opened its storefront near the roundabout on Windsor River Road. At the time the duo was still in startup mode, and they were willing to try anything to generate revenue. For Tara, the calendar was a fond memory; she did an advent calendar as a child and every day revealed little pieces of chocolate shaped like Santa Claus. “I still remember it being a fun little treat the excitement of getting it every night,” she said. Robert, who came from a much larger family, didn’t have experience with advent calendars, so Tara took the lead. She researched and ordered boxes. She found special paper for the guide. She even sourced special cellophane bags in which to package and present the tasty treats. Next came the fun part: Making and organizing the chocolates. Anatomy of a calendar That, of course, was Robert’s job. The first year the Bonbon Advent Calendar had several duplicates. By Year No. 2, however, Robert was producing 25 different chocolates for each box. Some of the bonbons are the same flavors you’ll always find in the case at Fleur Sauvage: orange honey, maple caramel, lychee raspberry, and candy-cap mushroom. Nearly half of them, however, have a notable holiday flair. That means flavors such as eggnog, rosemary caramel, speculoos Belgian spice cookies, black forest (which is chocolate and cherry), gingerbread and honey, horchata and cinnamon caramel, Mexican chocolate, pecan praline, cookies and cream, and molasses and chicory. Because Fleur Sauvage makes roughly 150 advent calendars every year, Robert must make 150 bonbons in each flavor. Do that math and that comes out to a minimum of 3, 750 bonbons just for the calendars. “All the hard work is absolutely worth it once we get to see everyone enjoying their bonbon calendars throughout December,” Robert said. Packing the calendars takes time. Lots of time. As Tara explains it, the couple packages calendars each night after the shop closes. They cover all the tables in the shop with 11-inch-by-11-inch plastic tray inserts and fill the trays one flavor at a time. The couple then folds each of the advent calendar boxes, slides in each tray, and closes each box. Tara applies the finishing touches by packaging calendars in the cellophane bags and adding the flavor guide, which she prints on demand. Calendars in the wild Most of the Fleur Sauvage Bonbon Advent Calendars are ordered in advance; when customers order them, they schedule a pickup date so the Nietos don’t have to package all 150 of the calendars at once. Every year there are usually at least a few calendars that go unreserved these are available at the shop on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers who do reserve calendars in advance say the item is a highlight of the holidays. “We love the beautiful chocolates and we love an excuse to shop local,” said Claire Ernst, a 27-year-old resident of Windsor. Ernst has ordered the calendars for her mother and sisters for the last few years. “The presentation is almost as special as the flavors they come up with, and every chocolate looks like a little present,” she said. Michelle Rynn, who lives in Larkfield-Wikiup, agreed. This year is the second year Rynn has ordered two calendars one for each of her two daughters. Tradition in the Rynn house dictates that daughters can open the door for the day when they wake up, meaning the girls typically down their bonbons around 645 a. m. Last year Rynn expected she’d get at least a few discards, but she never did. This year, she made sure she could get in on the fun; she ordered a third calendar for herself. “Strangely enough around Christmas the girls are willing to experiment with different chocolate flavors, but they remain unwilling to experiment with different veggie flavors,” Rynn joked about her girls, ages 9 and 6. “The bonbons are so delicious, I guess I can’t really blame them.” Other holiday treats If you miss out on Fleur Sauvage’s Bonbon Advent Calendars this year, fear not: the Nietos have plenty of other goodies to keep sweet-tooths satisfied. For starters, the shop has its usual complement of bonbons in the case all the traditional flavors plus any extra holiday flavors that are left over from stuffing the advent calendar boxes. Fleur Sauvage also has a scaled-back, a la carte version of the tea service it offers in spring and summer. For those seeking holiday-oriented items stocking stuffers, perhaps? Robert makes his own hot chocolate and mocha mix, and the Nietos sell the mix in a reusable glass. According to Tara, one package makes about 10 cups of hot cocoa or mochas, offering several days of chocolatey bliss. Fleur Sauvage also makes and sells actual-size chocolate wine bottles; these are always fun presents for oenophiles or someone in the wine business who might not suspect a 750 ml dessert. Finally, the shop will be celebrating its 4-year anniversary Dec. 14 and will be giving away free hot chocolate all day long. “We are grateful to be a part of this community,” said Tara. “We’re delighted to give back.”.

A day after Trump announced ‘something good may be happening’ about the Russia-Ukraine war, Putin has launched an attack on Kyiv
While President Donald Trump was busy bullying Ukraine into thanking him for his “efforts,” Russia launched another attack on Kyiv. Ironically, the offensive came just a day after Trump suggested there might be favorable developments in peace talks. Recommended Videos After discussions with Ukrainian leadership in Geneva on Sunday, Trump shared a hopeful Truth Social post on Monday. “Is it really possible that big progress is being made in Peace Talks between Russia and Ukraine?” he said, hinting at progress. “Don’t believe it until you see it, but something good just may be happening,” he declared. Earlier on Friday, Zelenskyy expressed his discontent with Trump’s original 28-point plan, which included ceding Ukraine’s eastern territories to Russia. Though Trump initially said that Ukraine “will have to like” his plan, he later clarified that he’s open to suggestions. Then, in Geneva, officials proposed amendments to the plan. Europe’s counterplan to Trump’s 28-point plan The counterplan included a crucial point of discussing territorial exchange at the point of contact, only after a peace agreement. It also increased the cap on the size of its military and tweaked the NATO membership terms. In a joint statement, officials called the talk “constructive, focused, and respectful.” But Russian leadership probably didn’t like it. Putin had backed the previously proposed 28-point plan since it explicitly favored Russia. The original plan, if it had been agreed upon, would’ve snatched away Ukraine’s NATO membership dreams. That’s something Russia has always pressed on, since it makes Ukraine an easier target for them in the future. But since Ukraine rejected the plan and Europe proposed its own deal, Russia lost its cool. Russia attacked Kyiv on Tuesday During the early morning hours on Tuesday, Nov. 25, Moscow launched an explosive attack on Kyiv. According to reports thus far, the attack destroyed several residential buildings, as well as major energy infrastructure. Videos showing a nine-story building in Dniprovskyi were shared on Telegram, providing proof of the attack. Tymor Tkachenko, the head of Kyiv city administration, revealed that at least four people were injured. While Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Russia hasn’t reviewed the updated plan, it’s being debated. There’s a possibility that the attack was launched in response to amendments proposed to the original 28-point plan. The sudden attack also comes across as a slap in the face of the U. S. administration. Trump claimed to be respected by Russia while brokering the peace deal, but Russia’s actions have proved otherwise. Despite the peace talks being actively pursued, Putin refused to put a pause to his offensive. If anything, it’s a sign that it’s not the U. S., but Russia that’s dictating the peace talks.

Watson and his team look into her condition and find that the pressure of playing causes ministrokes that make her symptoms worse. Annabelle needs surgery on her brain, but at first she doesn’t want it because she’s afraid it will hurt her music career. Watson season 2 episode 8 presents one of the season’s most dangerous scenarios. The focus goes from normal medical cases to a crisis that involves both a diagnostic and a physical threat. While negotiating with Livvy’s father, who thinks the clinic is delaying treatment, the team needs to find out what is making her sickness worse as rapidly as possible. Skate season 2 tweaks season pass, adds new co-op mode and challenges
Electronic Arts’ new Skate is getting its second season in early December, and it appears that developer Full Circle is already responding to player feedback amid its popular but sometimes rocky early access launch. Season 2 of Skate, dubbed Future Radical, promises less of a grind, at least when it comes to completing the game’s skate. Pass, and a new co-op mode with party voice chat, which is scheduled to land on Dec. 2. Skate’s new mode, Own the Lot, is a team-based mode that tasks players with completing as many Reqs as possible under a time limit. Players can skate in groups of one to four members, “but it’s definitely intended for at least two players,” Full Circle says, warning that “party scaling/difficulty can be intense.” There are five reward tiers in Own the Lot, which are: Nailed It: Complete five or more Reqs Reward: 20 Tix Owned It: Complete 10 or more Reqs Reward: 30 Tix Crushed It: Complete 15 or more Reqs Reward: 40 Tix Killed It: Complete 25 or more Reqs Reward: 55 Tix Shut it Down: Complete 40 or more Reqs Reward: 70 Tix Season 2 will also introduce new tricks, including a first-for-Skate impossible and “improved and expanded handplants.” As seen in the new trailer for season 2, San Vansterdam is also getting a world and character visual pass, with an ’80s-inspired vibe. Full Circle also says it’s responding to feedback on the lack of new weekly challenges, and is adjusting with seasonal Challenges each week to give players more chances to earn Tix. “Over the season, you’ll be able to earn more than twice the Tix from Seasonal Challenges, not including the Tix you can also gain from the new Own the Lots,” the developer says. Full Circle is also promising 40 new and returning Challenges (plus Tasks) to earn rewards. Skate’s “battle pass” (aka skate. Pass) is getting tuned for season 2 making it “less of a grind to complete and there’s more to do, with around 100 tiers per season,” Full Circle says. Players will also get more San Van Bucks through the combined standard free and premium tracks, up to 500 SVB total still not enough to purchase the premium version, but enough to do so after two seasons. In terms of new cosmetics and rewards, Skate season 2 will include new accessories (kneepads, shirts, shorts, and socks), and new hairsyles, decks, shirts, and pants. New brands coming to Skate include OJ, Ricta, Sci-Fi Fantasy, and Adidas. More details on what’s new in Skate season 2 are available at the game’s official website. Skate is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

‘Stranger Things’ Final Season: Predicting the Duffer Brothers’ Endgame
Everything’s about to turn Upside Down again, for the very last time. After nearly a decade streaming on Netflix, Stranger Things begins its endgame this week, with the Nov. 26 release of the first four episodes of its final season. The supernatural horrors lurking underneath Hawkins, Indiana are finally boiling over for one last climactic showdown, with nothing and no one promised to succeed against vicious villain Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) and his Demogorgon army. Ah, come on success in some shape or form is guaranteed. But who will live? Who will die? Whose fate will fall somewhere in between? Below, we’re rounding up the main characters of Stranger Things for our final predictions of where things will wind up. Hawkins and the Upside Down Let’s begin with the setting of the show before delving into the cast. Throughout the Duffer Brothers’ series, these two worlds have leaked into one another, offering champions and villains from both sides of the line. At the end of season four, however, the Upside Down came right side up into Hawkins, causing a huge disaster that’s kept the town on lockdown heading into the final season. Our prediction: the Upside Down won’t fully fall away, with one or more characters stuck there permanently to keep Hawkins and the rest of the world safe. But who will that be? The Byers Family Stranger Things began with young Will (Noah Schnapp) disappearing into the Upside Down, and it feels likely to end in a similar fashion, albeit as a choice, not a disappearance. Uniquely connected to the Vecna of it all, Will who spent much of season four reckoning with his sexuality and, specifically, his feelings for best friend Mike (Finn Wolfhard) could make an ultimate sacrifice to save the ones he loves. His brother Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) would achieve some growth in letting go of his over-protective instincts, and for mom Joyce (Winona Ryder), it would mark some measure of letting her son grow up as well. With Will left in the Upside Down, the door would also be open for the show to return at some future point. The Hoppers Of course, Will ending the series back where he started is pretty damn depressing so what if he’s not alone? Perhaps he’ll be joined by Eleven, played by Schnapp’s real-life best friend Millie Bobby Brown, who also knows what it’s like to live trapped in this dark realm. If nothing else, Will and Eleven rehabilitating the show’s shadow world offers a glimmer of hope that even the darkest corners of the universe can experience some light. As for David Harbour’s Hopper, the man was already presumed dead once; it’s about time to give him a break, settling into a happy ending with Joyce on the other side of his season four prison stint. The Wheelers If Will and Eleven end the show on the other side of the doorway to the Upside Down, then what about Mike? In many ways, the show has been just as much about him growing out of childish things as anything else. Accepting that moving on in life often means seeing less of the ones you love would hammer the metaphor home, but there’s no way the show ends without Mike being able to at least stay in touch with the two closest people in his life. As for Nancy (Natalia Dyer), her final fate could go in any number of directions, but here’s the shot I’ll take: she’s the one who gets to deliver the final kill shot to Lord Vecna, having been the one who effectively rediscovered him in the first place. Steve and Dustin If there’s anyone who feels particularly likely to die, it’s Joe Keery’s Steve, who wasn’t supposed to survive the first season in the first place. Each season, Steve becomes increasingly more likable and grown up, putting himself in harms way time after reckless time. How exactly would Steve’s death play out? (Watch my favorite Stranger Things fan video on the internet right now, it’ll do a much better job than I can manage.) As for his best pal Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), the Duffers aren’t so foolish as to touch a single hair on his beautiful head. If Dustin doesn’t end the show as the heir apparent to the Hellfire Club, we riot. Lucas and Max I want a happy ending for these two, especially given all the trauma Sadie Sink’s Max has experienced, from witnessing her brother’s visceral death to nearly dying at Vecna’s hands in season four, ending the season in critical condition. Has her condition improved since then? Even if it has, Max embodies the “running up that hill” attitude that stands to put her right back on Vecna’s radar. Max comes across as one of the likeliest characters to show up for a final stand against the big bad. With that said, with Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) at her side, always championing for Max to live better than she was forced to endure as a kid, I do think there’s a glimmer of hope for both of them by the end. Everyone Else Quick hits! Lucas’ sister Erica (Priah Ferguson) will not only live, but will play a fundamental role in Vecna’s demise. Maya Hawke’s Robin will also live, and she will somehow inherit the title and deed to Scoops Ahoy. Brett Gelman’s Murray will die, sacrificing himself for Nancy and Jonathan, as a means for making up for just how wildly inappropriate it was that he was so pushy with their teenage love affair. Finally, boldest prediction of all: the Wheeler parents Karen and Ted will be in the show.
