Families and dedicated NICU nurses teamed up to dress newborns in a variety of spooky and adorable outfits for their very first Halloween.

The little ones were seen sporting costumes ranging from pumpkins and gremlins to princesses and soccer stars, bringing smiles and festive cheer to the hospital.

**Lakers Work Through Chemistry Issues as LeBron James Sidelined with Injury**

*LOS ANGELES* — During the preseason, the Los Angeles Lakers only had their full lineup, minus LeBron James, for one game—the final preseason game of their schedule. Over a full slate of six preseason games this season, the Lakers saw key players in and out of the lineup, making it challenging to build on-court chemistry.

That chemistry—or lack thereof—was evident during the Lakers’ opening night loss to the Golden State Warriors this week. Rui Hachimura addressed the team’s ongoing process of developing cohesion after adding key rotational players during the offseason.

“We just started. This is probably the second game we actually played together with everybody,” Hachimura said following the Lakers’ 119-109 loss on Tuesday. “We’re still trying to figure out our rhythm. Everybody, we’re still trying to get to know each other. We had a lot of practices, especially to go against Golden State—they’ve been playing together for probably four or five years, so that was the difference.”

“Other than that, I think we did a lot of things that we were supposed to do,” he continued. “It’s a process. We’re going to be better.”

In the game against the Warriors, Hachimura posted a solid stat line with nine points, four rebounds, and three assists while shooting 3-of-6 from the field—all three-pointers.

With LeBron James sidelined for at least four weeks due to a nerve injury, Hachimura is expected to see an increased role and greater opportunity in the lineup.

Despite James’ absence, Lakers head coach JJ Redick emphasized that Hachimura’s role will remain consistent. “Same plan as always,” Redick said. “We’re not gonna ask a guy to change their role because someone is out of the lineup. He’s got to stick to doing what he does best.”

For Hachimura, excelling off the ball alongside the Lakers’ primary ball-handlers and playmakers has been key. Whether it’s spotting up for catch-and-shoot three-pointers or making timely, forceful cuts along the baseline, Hachimura has established himself as one of the Lakers’ better off-ball scoring threats.

Hachimura acknowledged the importance of continuing to capitalize on these off-ball opportunities. “Catch-and-shoot is going to be a lot, but also you saw last year I had a lot of back cuts, cutting to the rim,” he said. “Those are going to start coming—you just can’t do it right away. You have to kind of figure out the space first. We have a [Deandre Ayton] in the paint. It’s a little different than before, so I got to figure out the timing.”

As the Lakers work through their chemistry challenges and adjust to life without LeBron James, all eyes will be on Hachimura to step up and contribute consistently in his expanded role.

This entity interacts dynamically with your game world—it can manipulate blocks, trigger buttons and levers, build structures, and more. Yet, the creature is so quick that catching it is nearly impossible.

During your first encounter, the entity won’t stay confined to caves; it starts climbing out, as though you’ve awakened something you were never supposed to. This characteristic sets it apart from typical cave-dwelling horror mods and adds a unique twist.

From phase two onwards, the creature can spawn on the surface. You might notice it placing eerie signs that read “Right behind,” and it can suddenly appear behind you. When the creature’s form is revealed, it resembles a slightly larger version of Steve, but with a terrifying twist—its head is sliced and vertically separated in the middle. Its face is pale white with wide eyes staring into nothingness.

In addition to this entity, players will encounter horrific cows featuring the same wide, human-like eyes. These cows change their stance, stand on two legs, and move around as if they possess god-like abilities.

The mod also adds various new structures for players to explore. Many of these contain detailed lore about the custom world created by the modder and the mysterious entity that haunts you, deepening the sense of immersion and horror.

HBO Max hikes prices in U.S. for second time in less than 18 months

Warner Bros. Discovery announced on Tuesday that it is raising prices across all Max subscription tiers in the United States. This marks the second increase in less than 18 months, as streaming services strive to offset higher content costs and slower subscriber growth.

HBO Max’s ad-supported Basic plan will increase by $1, rising to $10.99 per month. The Standard plan will go up by $1.50, reaching $18.49. Meanwhile, the Premium tier—which offers higher video quality and more simultaneous streams—will jump $2 to $22.99.

These new rates take effect immediately for new subscribers, with existing customers seeing the changes starting November 20.

HBO Max last raised its prices in June 2024, joining other major streamers such as Disney+, Apple TV+, and Netflix, which have all announced price increases in recent months.

The streamer, known for prestige programming, streams hit shows such as *Succession*, *Game of Thrones* and its spin-offs, the Emmy-winning *The White Lotus*, and the DC Comics-based *Peacemaker*.

At last month’s Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference, WBD CEO David Zaslav stated that he believes HBO Max is “underpriced.” He added, “We’re not trying to be everything to everybody. And the fact that this is quality, and that’s true across our company—Motion Picture, TV production, and streaming quality—we think that gives us a chance to raise price.”

The price hike comes as Warner Bros. Discovery considers an outright sale, following unsolicited interest from other media companies, the company said. This potential deal would represent the latest shakeup in the legacy media landscape.

Dolphins’ Mike McDaniel drops another crazy take on effort vs Browns

Somehow, Mike McDaniel is still the Miami Dolphins head coach, and he’s sticking with Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback. Additionally, he’s continuing to say unusual things, recently dropping another surprising take about the team’s effort against the Cleveland Browns, as reported by Marcel Louis-Jacques on X.

“I don’t have an opinion on the two teams in the game, because we didn’t participate in the game, in my opinion,” McDaniel said. While he acknowledged that Miami’s “want to” was there, he criticized their desire to execute the actual assignment or game plan as lacking.

Regardless of these comments, the Dolphins are now trying to regroup and climb out of the mess left behind by a 31-6 thrashing at the hands of the Browns.

### Mike McDaniel Sticking with Tua Tagovailoa

It seems strange that McDaniel hasn’t pulled the plug on Tagovailoa as the starter. At this point, it doesn’t look like the six-year veteran will be able to lead the team to a victory anytime soon. And a win soon may be the only thing that secures McDaniel’s future with the organization.

When asked about Tagovailoa’s status, McDaniel emphasized that his decisions won’t be based on emotion. “It will be tape-driven,” he said. “I will have to take a look at the tape. But before watching the tape, I don’t want to over-conclude anything.”

He added, “I think, when you turn the ball over, you know, it is the number one indicator of wins and losses. And it negatively affects the team. I think there’s multiple factors in those turnovers. I know at least one or two of them were extremely preventable from Tua, and he knows that just wasn’t good enough. We’ll watch the tape and change our style of play if we [have] to.”

### Tagovailoa’s Struggles

Unfortunately for the Dolphins, Tagovailoa currently leads the NFL in a category no quarterback wants to: interceptions. He has thrown 10 interceptions as Miami has stumbled to a disappointing 1-6 record.

Tagovailoa’s poor play is certainly an issue, but McDaniel’s team also didn’t seem prepared to face the Browns, who notched just their second win of the season. When teams show up not ready to play, the responsibility almost always falls on the head coach.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on McDaniel and Tagovailoa — whether changes are coming and if Miami can turn things around before it’s too late.
