Zubeen Garg Death: Bandmate Alleges Conspiracy, Claims Manager Siddharth Sharma Ignored Singer Frothing At Mouth During Yacht Incident

**Popular Assamese Singer Zubeen Garg Passes Away in Singapore Amid Controversy**

Renowned Assamese singer Zubeen Garg tragically passed away on September 19 in Singapore. While initial reports suggested that he died during a scuba diving incident, his wife, Garima Saikia Garg, clarified that Zubeen suffered a seizure while swimming at Lazarus Island, dismissing the claims of a scuba-related accident.

### Arrests Made in Connection to Zubeen Garg’s Death

Recently, the Assam Police arrested North East India Festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta and Zubeen Garg’s manager, Siddharth Sharma, in connection with the singer’s untimely demise. The investigation has taken a new turn following allegations made by a close associate of Zubeen.

### Allegations of Conspiracy by Bandmate Shekhar Jyoti Goswami

Days after Zubeen’s death, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, a member of Zubeen’s band, accused Siddharth Sharma and Shyamkanu Mahanta of poisoning the singer. Shekhar shared shocking revelations, recounting how he observed Siddharth behaving suspiciously in Singapore. According to him, Siddharth forcibly took control of the yacht during their outing and deliberately endangered the passengers’ safety.

Shekhar also revealed to News18 that when Zubeen was reportedly frothing at the mouth and nose—a critical medical sign—Siddharth was heard shouting, “Jabo de, jabo de” (meaning “let him go”), suggesting a disturbing level of neglect.

### Claims of Negligence During Medical Emergency

The bandmate further accused Siddharth of dismissing Zubeen’s serious symptoms as mere “acid reflux” instead of arranging immediate medical assistance. Eyewitnesses believe this negligence significantly hastened the singer’s death.

Moreover, witnesses stated that Siddharth had instructed Tanmoy Phukan, who organised the private yacht party, not to arrange any drinks for the group, insisting that only he would provide the beverages. Siddharth was reportedly unable to explain the presence of liquor and women arranged for Zubeen prior to him falling ill, adding to concerns about the circumstances surrounding the incident.

### Shekhar Goswami Believes Zubeen Garg’s Death Was No Accident

Shekhar emphasized that Zubeen was an expert swimmer and therefore could not have drowned naturally. He firmly believes that the singer’s death was not accidental. Additionally, Shekhar disclosed that Siddharth had instructed him not to share any video footage of the yacht incident with anyone, raising suspicions about a potential cover-up.

### Zubeen Garg’s Last Rites

Zubeen Garg was laid to rest with full state honours in Assam on Tuesday, September 23. Thousands of fans gathered at the crematorium in Kamarkuchi Village, Sonapur, to pay their last respects to the beloved singer.

The investigation into this tragic case continues as authorities seek to uncover the full truth behind Zubeen Garg’s untimely death.

Are you looking for a quick and nutritious breakfast option? A broccoli corn scramble is a fantastic choice. This dish combines the health benefits of broccoli with the natural sweetness of corn, creating a balanced meal that’s easy to prepare. Packed with essential vitamins and minerals, it provides the energy you need to start your day without much time or effort.

### Nutritional Benefits of Broccoli and Corn

Broccoli is loaded with vitamin C, vitamin K, and fiber, along with antioxidants that promote overall health. Corn serves as a great source of carbohydrates, which provide energy, and it’s rich in B vitamins that aid metabolism. Together, broccoli and corn form a nutritious combination that supports immune function and digestion.

### Quick Preparation Tips

To prepare this scramble quickly:
1. Chop fresh broccoli into small pieces.
2. Heat some olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
3. Add the broccoli along with canned or frozen corn kernels.
4. Sauté for about five minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

### Adding Flavor with Spices

Enhance the flavor of your broccoli corn scramble by adding spices such as turmeric or black pepper. These not only bring out taste but also offer anti-inflammatory properties. A pinch of salt can be added to taste, balancing the natural sweetness of the corn without overpowering it.

### Serving Suggestions for Variety

For added variety, try serving your broccoli corn scramble on whole-grain toast or alongside avocado slices for a dose of healthy fats. If you enjoy dairy, sprinkle some grated cheese on top. This dish is versatile enough to be enjoyed alone or as part of a larger breakfast spread.

Overtourism: Arashiyama Launches Night Event To Ease Daytime Crowds

Organized jointly by local shopping street associations, transport operators, and residents, the project is designed not simply to attract more people but to disperse daytime congestion by creating a photogenic experience at night when visitor numbers are typically low.

The paid area is intended to generate steady revenue that can be reinvested locally. Proceeds will prioritize practical measures such as adding trash bins and toilets, preserving the bamboo forest, repairing damaged stalks, and purchasing a community bus reserved for residents. The bus would improve mobility during peak tourist seasons when traffic restrictions are imposed and some neighborhoods face fewer regular bus services than before.

Residents have long participated in discussions with merchants to address overtourism. During last year’s autumn foliage season, Arashiyama operated a trial ride-share taxi for residents affected by traffic controls to secure daily transportation.

Crowding and etiquette remain pressing issues beyond central Kyoto. In Ine, the picturesque waterfront lined with boathouses, an hourly 60-seat route bus has struggled when visitors fill seats, leaving local riders behind. Meanwhile, narrow roads have suffered frequent congestion as more travelers arrive by car.

Authorities and local groups are promoting park-and-bus-ride and park-and-cruise schemes that shift cars to free parking areas and move visitors by shuttle bus or boat. Alongside this, a sightseeing express bus that stops only at major attractions aims to reduce pressure on regular routes.

Manners problems such as trespassing into boathouses and littering have become more visible since last year, which local observers partly attribute to the rise of group tours by overseas visitors. Countermeasures include distributing multilingual leaflets on buses to explain rules and cultural norms.

The Moonlit Path organizers stress that dispersing crowds and encouraging better behavior must be paired with a tangible give-back to those who live with tourism year-round. By visibly reinvesting admission income in services residents can feel—cleaner streets, maintained scenery, and dedicated transport—the initiative aims to build a model that other destinations can adopt if it proves effective this month.

**Taylor Rates Travis’s Proposal a Perfect ‘10 out of 10’**

*By Shreya Mukherjee | Oct 03, 2025, 04:29 PM*

**The Story**

In a recent appearance on *The Graham Norton Show*, popstar Taylor Swift opened up about her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce. She revealed that Travis surprised her with a romantic proposal after recording his *New Heights* podcast in August.

“He really crushed it in surprising me,” Taylor shared. “While we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in. He went all out—10 out of 10.”

**Wedding Details**

Wearing a black bejeweled mini dress that showcased her engagement ring, Taylor mentioned that she is currently prioritizing the promotion of her new album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, before diving into wedding planning.

“I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan,” she said.

The album was officially released last Friday.

**Album Insights**

Swift described *The Life of a Showgirl* as a secret passion project that helped her cope during the physically demanding *Eras Tour*.

“Last year on the tour, I was physically exhausted, sick, and worn down, so to spark me up, I had the album as a secret passion project behind the scenes. It stopped me from hitting a wall,” she explained.

The album features 12 tracks, including a notable collaboration with singer Sabrina Carpenter.

**Artistic Growth**

Taylor also reflected on her evolution as an artist, sharing how her approach to songwriting has matured.

“In recent years, I have a different perspective and like storytelling at a little bit of a distance, so it isn’t like doing a complete autopsy of myself. I think my wheelhouse is bigger now. I feel I can do anything now while running in heels. I am confident to write higher choruses, jump an octave, and do falsetto stuff,” she said.

**Master Recordings**

On finally owning her master recordings, a lifelong dream came true for Taylor.

“I was able to buy my entire back catalog. I don’t respond to stuff generally, but not owning it really pissed me off. I didn’t think I should be given it—I was happy to pay and at a premium. I’m glad I spoke publicly about it and my fans got behind it and championed it,” she reflected.

Taylor’s candid conversation offered fans a glimpse into not only her personal happiness but also her continued artistic growth and business successes.
