It is 405. 75MB in size and carries firmware version S91xB0XM8EYK2. The November 2025 security patch fixes 25 security vulnerabilities present in the previous versions of the OS. To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and uninstall. We expect Samsung to release it to other variants of the Galaxy S23 series phones and in other regions in the next few days. However, there is also an expectation that the latest Snapdragon chipset will be used in the Galaxy S26 Ultra—at least in some markets. A new rumor now claims to reveal Samsung’s plan for this chipset split, and it’s not much different from previous years.
The rumor, originating from the X (formerly Twitter) echo chamber, suggests there’s a high chance Samsung will go fully Exynos for the Galaxy S26 series in its home country of South Korea. This would mean even the Galaxy S26 Ultra offered in South Korea will feature Exynos exclusively.
Reports also indicate Samsung is planning to use Exynos in most regions outside the United States, China, and Japan. All three models—the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra—would thus be powered by Samsung’s own chipset in most markets, confirming the company intends Exynos to take the lead in its next flagship lineup. The Snapdragon is expected to be reserved for the Galaxy S26 Ultra only, and possibly only in select regions.
Based on the information available so far, both the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will use the Exynos chipset exclusively across all global markets. There could be some disappointment among fans in regions where the Snapdragon Ultra isn’t offered, but Samsung has dealt with these preferences before, and it likely won’t have a major impact on sales.

What We Know So Far
Abner Li noted that the device is generally on par with the Vision Pro in terms of hardware but that the AI features make it feel “wildly new.” Samsung’s new operating system, Android XR, appears comparable to Apple’s visionOS yet offers fresh and natural innovations through AI components named Gemini and Project Astra.
Marques Brownlee explained the impact of these AI features: at any time, users can simply “go home” in the headset and hit the Gemini button to start an instance of Gemini running live in the background. This conversational AI allows for natural back-and-forth discussions.
