**NEW YORK** — Alicia Keys’ semi-autobiographical, coming-of-age Broadway musical is all grown up and leaving the nest. And, like any proud creator, Keys may visit it every once in a while as it embarks on a national tour.
A new *Hell’s Kitchen* cast has assembled in Cleveland for a national tour that will take them across the South, Midwest, and West on a 28-city journey through 2026.
“It feels so good to know that it’s going to go across the country and this cast, let me tell you, is out of control. They’re so good,” Keys says. “Obviously, everybody can’t get to New York City. Everybody can’t go to Broadway.”
Those who catch the musical on the road may also get an extra treat. Keys says she’s liable to appear unexpectedly at some stops as a fairy godmother alongside the cast.
“I love, as an artist, bringing my energy to other artists. That’s really a fulfilling feeling. So, I’ll be fairy godmothering. You never know where you’ll see me,” she adds.
### A Coming-of-Age Story
*Hell’s Kitchen* tells the story of Ali, a 17-year-old New York piano prodigy, fueled by iconic Alicia Keys songs like “Fallin’,” “No One,” “Girl on Fire,” “If I Ain’t Got You,” as well as new originals including “Kaleidoscope.”
The musical centers on Ali, who—like Keys—is the daughter of a white mother and a Black father, growing up in subsidized housing just outside Times Square, in the once-rough neighborhood called Hell’s Kitchen.
Ali’s journey follows her honing her musical talents, experiencing first love, and reconciling with her sometimes overbearing mother.
Keys hopes audiences will be drawn not only to her music and story but also to the musical’s diverse cast.
“It’s really exciting to be able to go somewhere and see yourself on the stage or to see your experience played out,” Keys says.
### Meet Maya Drake: Ali on Tour
The role of Ali on tour is played by 18-year-old Maya Drake, a recent high school graduate from San Jose, California, who underwent a long and rigorous audition process.
Drake was a fan of Alicia Keys long before she auditioned for *Hell’s Kitchen* and cherishes the opportunity to perform the artist’s music.
“The fact that I get to be in a show with somebody else’s music and, of all the people, it gets to be her — I got so lucky with that,” says Drake. “Just to have that connection is so special, and it makes the show feel 10 times more enjoyable.”
As part of her audition process, Drake traveled to New York to watch the Broadway production starring Jade Milan as Ali.
“It’s a lot seeing it for the first time and she never leaves the stage,” Drake recalls. “To be a part of something that big would just be crazy.”
After the tour cast was announced, the performers were invited onstage at the Shubert Theatre to cheers following a performance. Drake met and spoke with veterans like Jessica Vosk and Tony Award winner Kecia Lewis.
“That was a really special moment,” Drake says. “Sharing advice and getting insight from the people that are currently doing the show helped us understand what you’re about to get into and some things that can help.”
### Life on the Road
Following the Cleveland opening, the tour visits Pittsburgh, Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Denver, Oklahoma City, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, San Diego, and other cities.
Drake is especially looking forward to performing in California, particularly the San Francisco stop, which is the closest to her hometown of San Jose.
She is also excited about the traveling experience itself.
“I really have not traveled a bunch of my life, which is kind of ironic because I’m about to do a lot of traveling,” Drake says. She trained at the Children’s Musical Theater San Jose and is eager to explore new places.
Keys, who celebrated the show’s success with two Tony Awards and the 2025 Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album, believes *Hell’s Kitchen*’s story transcends its New York roots.
“This is a story inspired by my experiences growing up in New York City, for sure. And, yes, it is a New York story, 1,000%. The thing is, though, the story truly is timeless,” Keys says.
“It’s such an emotional, honest, raw, authentic story that it doesn’t matter if it’s in Cleveland, or if it’s in Detroit, or if it’s in Manhattan or Atlanta.”

**Taylor Swift’s Private Jet Grounded After Accusations of High Carbon Emissions**

Pop superstar Taylor Swift has recently come under fire for the environmental impact of her private jet, accused of pumping out thousands of tonnes of CO2 with her frequent flights. However, RadarOnline.com can now reveal that the Earth’s atmosphere is getting a much-needed break from the mega-rich singer, as her jet has been grounded for the past four months.
### What’s Wrong With Swift’s Private Jet?
The jet of the “Bad Blood” singer has been parked since June — that’s around four months of no flights. However, this pause doesn’t appear to be due to Swift suddenly adopting eco-friendly habits. Jack Sweeney, a college graduate who has famously tracked Swift’s plane via a flight tracker, claims that the luxury jet is currently undergoing “heavy maintenance” after falling into a state of disrepair.
Sweeney’s X account, *TaylorSwiftJets*, reports that the plane’s last trip was on June 9th, flying from Nashville to Little Rock, Arkansas. This followed several days of flights around Florida, coinciding with Swift and her fiancé Travis Kelce’s visit to watch the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers face off in the Stanley Cup Final.
### Details on Swift’s Luxury Plane
The jet, a 16-year-old Dassault Falcon 7X, is clearly taking a well-deserved rest after a busy few years in the air. It had already flown more than 70 times in the first six months of this year before being temporarily grounded.
This private jet can carry up to 11 passengers and travel over 6,000 miles at speeds of up to 540 miles per hour. During 2023, Swift’s busiest tour year, her two jets—which included one she sold last year—traveled a combined total of 178,000 miles. To put that into perspective, that’s equivalent to flying around the world seven times, emitting approximately 1,200 tonnes of CO2.
### Legal Threat Over Jet Tracking
Jack Sweeney, who gained notoriety for tracking Swift’s plane, has previously faced legal challenges. In December 2023, Swift’s legal team sent him a “cease and desist” letter, accusing him of aiding stalkers and putting the singer’s safety at risk.
The letter stated:
*”While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client. Ms. Swift has dealt with stalkers and other individuals who wish her harm since she was a teenager… the reality has forced our Client to live her life in a constant state of fear for her personal safety.”*
Despite the threat, Sweeney remains unrepentant and continues his tracking activities.
### Elon Musk Also Clashed with Sweeney
Sweeney is no stranger to high-profile confrontations. Previously, in 2022, he clashed with Elon Musk after managing a jet-tracker account for the Tesla founder. Musk accused Sweeney of endangering his life by sharing his plane’s real-time location and even offered $5,000 to stop the tracking—but Sweeney refused.
Speaking to *The Sun*, Sweeney said:
*”They [Swift and Musk] both have different kinds of powers. But if I’m not gonna back down from someone that I was kind of a fan of, like Elon, so why would I back down for Swift? They thought that just because of the [cease and desist] letter, they’d try and intimidate me.”*
He added:
*”They don’t want you there, they’re the bigger person, have bigger power, and they think they can do stuff like that.”*

While not much is known about *VisionQuest* yet, and a trailer has not been released, footage shown at New York Comic Con suggests that the evil White Vision will grapple with the fallout of *WandaVision*. His original body (Red Vision) died, but he regained all of his memories.
Series star Paul Bettany shared insights about the show during NYCC:
*“What’s different about Vision right now is that Red Vision gave Vision all of his memories, including the memories from within the Hex. But White Vision is having real difficulty connecting to them,”* he explained.
*“So he has the memories, but he doesn’t have the emotions and the feelings, and I think that’s what the journey is. White Vision’s journey during the show is about his attempt to connect to those memories and who he was… but with lasers!”*

Winter is coming. Kristen Bell has revealed that the cast of “Frozen 3” will “soon” begin production on the highly anticipated third installment of the hit animated movie musical franchise.
Although Bell, who voices Anna, hasn’t heard any of the new songs for “Frozen 3,” she disclosed that she has seen the script. “That’s all I can say. I’m under lock and key,” she explained, adding some insight into the script development process.
“It’s all mostly like concept stuff in the beginning like, ‘Here’s where we think it should go,’” Bell said. “That’s the one great thing about Disney — it goes through a thousand filters, not to be diplomatic, but because everyone’s going to add something different. That’s why the movies play so well because they hit every single mark; nothing has been missed.”
“Frozen 3” is slated for release in 2027. Visual development art unveiled in August 2024 offers a glimpse into the film, featuring Elsa (Idina Menzel) on a white horse and Anna on a brown stag.
The original “Frozen” was written and co-directed by Jennifer Lee alongside Chris Buck. The Oscar-winning animated feature, as well as its 2019 sequel “Frozen II,” are set in the fictional kingdom of Arendelle and feature a voice cast led by Bell, Menzel, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, and Josh Gad as the lovable snowman Olaf. The first “Frozen” premiered in 2013, followed by the sequel six years later.
I caught up with Bell on Thursday night at the “Nobody Wants This” Season 2 premiere at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The show, which follows two sisters who co-host a podcast, features a guest appearance by Leighton Meester, wife of Bell’s co-star Adam Brody, in its second season.
When asked about her husband Dax Shepard potentially appearing on the show, Bell was candid. “He probably ‘never’ will,” she said. “He likes podcasting,” referring to Shepard’s popular series, *Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard.*
“But it’s still acting and there’s a whole thing that comes along with that. It’s like you have to do hair and makeup, memorize the lines, and then you’re there all day,” Bell continued. “He’s so happy and content with his career. I mean, he would if I asked him, obviously, but I don’t want him to do anything he isn’t craving.”
“Nobody Wants This” Season 2 premieres on Netflix on October 23. Fans can look forward to more heartfelt storytelling and compelling performances from Bell and the cast.
