Former WWE Superstar Lana recently claimed she doesn’t believe John Cena will retire. After CJ Perry’s comments caused a stir in pro wrestling circles, the 40-year-old has explained her remarks. Speaking to TMZ Inside The Ring, Lana said that she feels that legends like John Cena and The Undertaker can never truly retire. She said that she is expecting him to come back, and maybe all of this is just a tactic by WWE to sell a lot of merchandise. Thanks for the submission! When a clip of her interview was uploaded on the Instagram page of the podcast, Perry left a comment and gave a clarification on why she said what she said. “I think I am lying to myself about Cena not retiring!!! It’s just to painful to see one of my greatest Inspirationa on the microphone retire,” she wrote. Here’s a screengrab of what she wrote. While Perry is skeptical of John Cena’s retirement plans, she said that she doesn’t want to risk being left out and will buy the merchandise of his farewell tour. John Cena receives a loaded message from Dominik Mysterio Dominik Mysterio is heading to the 2025 Survivor Series, where he will face John Cena and try to win back the Intercontinental Championship. Speaking about the upcoming bout with Forbes, Dirty Dom said that he is happy that he is getting the honor of receiving three out of the final four matches of Cena. However, the AAA Mega Champion also added that it means that The Franchise Player needs this feud more than him for his career. “He’s never coming back after this. I’m getting three out of his last four. I got him in Boston, TD Garden. I got him in Madison Square Garden, and I’m gonna have to finish it off in Survivor Series at Petco Park. It’s a huge honor, and I’m happy to be part of that journey. Because at the end of the day, if nothing ever gets done by John Cena again his last feud ever and three out of his last four matches were against me. It’s a little clear that he needed me more than I needed him.” Dominik Mysterio will be fighting The Never Seen 17 at his home turf in San Diego. The Latino Cheat had alleged that he only lost the title because Cena was fighting before his home crowd of Boston in an impromptu match. It remains to be seen if Mysterio will be able to turn the tables on November 29 and win the IC Title back.

Travel chaos as ground stops, delays hit major airports days before Thanksgiving…
Multiple ground stops and delays at America’s busiest airports are beginning to upend the chaotic Thanksgiving travel week. Due to thunderstorms from a coast-to-coast weather system moving across the US, all flights departing from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport have been delayed by an average of 30 minutes. The air traffic control tower was evacuated due to the storm, prompting a ground stop during the busy Thanksgiving rush at America’s busiest travel hub. As of 11. 30am ET, more than 260 flights were delayed there. Meanwhile, a potential ground stop was forecast at San Francisco International Airport lasting until midnight, but no official announcement or delays are in place at the moment. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Philadelphia International Airport, and Chicago O’Hare may see ground stops starting between 1pm and 5pm ET on Tuesday, according to the agency. Approximately 82 million people are expected to travel at least 50 miles for Thanksgiving, with Tuesday among the busiest days for Americans visiting family and friends this week. The list of potential disruptions or delays at these airports is based on FAA forecasts for problematic traffic, weather, staffing, or other operational factors. The warnings are proactive alerts to help airlines, pilots, and travelers prepare for delays, but they are not guaranteed to occur. The FAA issued a temporary ground stop at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston Tuesday morning due to both equipment outages and poor weather conditions. Chicago Midway International Airport briefly halted flights because of ‘low ceilings,’ meaning low clouds have made it harder for pilots to take off and land safely. Delays averaging around 30 minutes have been reported at nearby Chicago O’Hare International Airport for the same reason. The travel chaos is expected to get even worse, with the FAA already warning of potential ground stops into the evening, including at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta. Meteorologists have noted that Tuesday will be the storm’s busiest day, as it spreads heavy rain, gusty winds, and some thunderstorms across a huge stretch of the US, from the Gulf Coast and Southeast to the Midwest. AccuWeather added that the worst headaches will likely cause hundreds of flight delays at major hubs like Chicago O’Hare, St Louis Lambert and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. As of 11. 30am, more than 1, 700 flights entering or departing from the US have been delayed, according to FlightAware. Conditions for travelers in the Northeast and Great Lakes region are expected to deteriorate on Tuesday, with some areas seeing an ‘all-out blizzard’ by Thanksgiving. AccuWeather meteorologist Brandon Buckingham said: ‘As the storm in the north-central tier continues into the middle of the week, substantial blowing and drifting snow is forecast in portions of Minnesota and northern Michigan, with an all-out blizzard developing in the vicinity of Lake Superior. ‘Wind gusts over 40 mph could cause airline delays in cities including Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland.’ By Wednesday, parts of the Dakotas, Wisconsin, and Michigan are predicted to see up to 12 inches of snow. Meanwhile, dangerous wind gusts and continuous downpours on Tuesday night into Wednesday could impact flights in New York, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.

Big Event posts update following AJ Lee AI controversy
WWE Superstar AJ Lee made her return to RAW earlier this week, costing Becky Lynch the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri. While it was an exciting moment, which should’ve led to a week of trying to figure out Lee’s next move, the segment was sadly overshadowed thanks to a strange YouTube upload. Ad AJ Lee has unfortunately found herself a subject of debate online. The WWE Superstar recently appeared at The Big Event NY on November 15th, meeting fans and signing autographs. One fan used the experience to create an AI video of himself kissing Lee, leading to justified outrage throughout the week. Thanks for the submission! After banning the perpetrator, The Big Event made a statement regarding shows going forward. The convention is putting its foot down in an attempt to make sure nothing like this happens again. Ad Trending “As most have you have seen The Big Event has been making headlines for the past 48 hours for the wrong reasons. This isn’t a discussion regarding the positive or negative uses of AI, but if you use AI or any other type of manipulation to misrepresent the experience you had at the show that paints our guests or our fans in a negative or compromising way, you will be banned from all future events, one strike, no appeal. We want everyone who comes to have a memorable experience, a REAL memorable experience, and not create a false narrative that ruins future opportunities and moments for our fans. Thank You. BigEvent Staff.” Ad AJ Lee asked for the removal of the controversial AI video Fan Chris Horror posted an AI video of himself and WWE Superstar AJ Lee using a photo he got at The Big Event NY on November 15th. The video shows the fan kissing Lee in a, frankly, strange and disturbing attempt to show appreciation for the former Divas Champion. CM Punk makes a heartbreaking John Cena confession ahead of WWE retirement
CM Punk and John Cena have had some really great matches with each other over the years. The iconic rivalry between the two stars from the summer of 2011 is fondly remembered by fans. Ahead of Cena’s retirement match next month, Punk made a heartbreaking confession about being a part of his retirement tour. The Second City Saint faced off against the Last Real Champion earlier this year at the Night of Champions Premium Live Event. Fans loved to see the long time rivals go at it once again during Cena’s retirement run. Thanks for the submission! In a recent interview with WGN News, the World Heavyweight Champion shared his thoughts on Cena’s retirement. He made a confession stating that he was a small part of Cena’s tour. However, a lot of fans might find this heartbreaking since Punk was actually one of Cena’s biggest rivals. “A real treat to come back to WWE to be a witness to John gracefully bowing out and retiring. I’m a small part of his story, and I’m proud to be that small part. It’s been everything to me. I’m a fan of his, just like people are fans of me.; So being around him and being there to experience him just kind of gracefully, I feel like I’m skating with Gretzky during his last couple games.” Punk said. (4: 10 onwards) It’s heartbreaking to see CM Punk act so modestly even after being such a big part of the career of John Cena. CM Punk and John Cena will be in action at Survivor Series: WarGames Survivor Series: WarGames is just a few days away and the card is already stacked. The Men’s WarGames is set to take place between Team Punk and The Vision. On this week’s episode of RAW, Reigns returned to join Punk, the Usos and Cody Rhodes against Heyman’s group. Kristi Noem hands out $10K bonuses to many TSA officers who worked during shutdown
WASHINGTON Kristi Noem, the secretary of Homeland Security, announced Nov. 13 that Transportation Security Administration workers who provided “exemplary” service during the shutdown would receive $10,000 bonuses. “Their unsung patriotism deserves recognition,” Noem said in recognizing two TSA officers Reiko Walker, who worked double shifts, and Ashley Richardson, who canceled a move at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. Funding for the bonuses comes from $13. 2 billion Noem said Trump saved in cost-cutting since taking office. About 13, 000 air traffic controllers and 50, 000 TSA officers continued working during the shutdown as essential personnel. But many were absent as they searched for other income during the temporary halt in paychecks. Trump has proposed $10,000 bonuses for air traffic controllers with perfect attendance. The federal government continues to resume operations several days after the end of the longest shutdown in history, but advocates warn of potential continued delays getting back pay out the door, airline flights back on schedule and food benefits. President Donald Trump signed legislation Nov. 12 that ended the 43-day shutdown. For the record book, the White House clocked the shutdown at 42 days, 22 hours and 25 minutes. As the government gets back on its feet, workers expect to get back pay within the next few days, airlines are repositioning crews and planes after flight cancellations and states are scrambling to distribute food benefits heading into the Thanksgiving holiday. DOT Duffy calls air controllers ‘patriots’ who should get bonuses at White House Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy repeated Trump’s pledge to give air traffic controllers with perfect attendance during the shutdown each a $10,000 bonus and said they should get it from the president personally at the White House. About 13, 000 controllers and 50, 000 Transportation Security Administration officers kept working temporarily without paychecks during the shutdown to keep passengers flying. The controllers will get back pay and received paychecks Nov. 14 with 70% of their pay, he said. The number of controllers eligible for bonuses is still being calculated, Duffy said. “Depending on how many we have, they should come to the White House and he should present them with their checks,” Duffy said. “They are patriots. We are grateful to them for the work that they have done.” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said nearly 20, 000 flights were delayed during the shutdown due to short staffing. Vance calls out Senate Democrats over shutdown Vice President JD Vance says Democrats made a “huge political mistake” when they made demands to reopen the government that a group of moderates eventually caved on. “They caused a lot of stress for our troops, they made our air traffic controllers not get paid, and they caused a lot of flight cancellations. They had a lot of people thinking they were not going to get their food benefits, all for literally nothing,” Vance said “We could have struck this exact deal 45 days ago.” Most House and Senate Democrats voted against the GOP-backed bill to reopen the government. It passed with the support of six Democrats in the House and seven Democrats and an independent who caucuses with the party in the Senate. The White House Office of Management and Budget quickly put out guidance following the end of the shutdown that directs federal agencies to open, and furloughed workers to return “in a prompt and orderly manner” starting Nov. 13. OMB Director Russell Vought sent out the letter to department and agency heads Nov. 12 saying “employees we were on furlough due to the absence of appropriations should be directed to return to work on November 13.” An estimated 750, 000 workers were furloughed during the shutdown.

Former WWE Star Gets Brutally Honest About John Cena Winning the IC Title
Earlier this week, John Cena made history in his hometown of Boston by winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career. This epic moment, featured on “Monday Night Raw,” received widespread praise from fans as Cena officially became a grand slam champion during his retirement tour.
While many praised the match, it wasn’t without some criticism directed at WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque and John Cena himself for various issues. Several former WWE employees shared their honest thoughts about the match, including former WWE writer Vince Russo and manager Jim Cornette.
Russo mainly criticized Triple H’s decision to remain in the ring during Cena’s big moment with Dominik Mysterio in Boston. Cornette, on the other hand, was more critical of certain spots during the Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio match.
In a recent edition of his podcast alongside The Great Brian, Cornette addressed several issues he observed during the match. In his “Official Jim Cornette” video, his most significant criticism was aimed at the referee’s behavior and the use of false finishes.
“They did an unnecessary spot and then did a false finish that was better than the actual finish, and I think they just tried to get too cute,” Cornette said.
He pointed out a moment where Dominik undid the turnbuckle cover and walked away, while the referee focused on retying the cover instead of watching the action in the ring. Cornette claimed this made the referee look “stupid” to the live audience.
Cornette also mentioned how odd the referee looked after Cena and Dominik each tried to blame the other for hitting with a steel chair. According to Cornette, the referee should have started a count with both men down on the mat, rather than looking back and forth between them.
Cornette was especially critical of the match’s finish, where Dominik landed a 619 to knock Cena down, followed by a frogsplash from the corner for a pinfall attempt. Cena reportedly “no-sold” the frogsplash by rolling through it and hitting the Attitude Adjustment to secure the win—something Cornette noted is likely unprecedented with that move.
Despite these criticisms, Cornette acknowledged that the match was “put together very well,” featuring mostly in-ring action rather than high-flying or risky spots involving crashing into tables or other objects.
He also agreed that the crowd reaction to Cena winning the Intercontinental Championship was tremendous. Cornette’s co-host even suggested it might have been the biggest pop for an IC title win since Ultimate Warrior captured the championship in 1988 at Madison Square Garden.
Looking ahead, Cornette speculated that Cena will likely face Gunther in his final match on “Saturday Night’s Main Event” this December—an encounter that could further elevate Gunther before Cena retires.

Big E Predicts World Title Run For WWE Star
John Cena shocked the Boston crowd on Monday Night Raw when he defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship, becoming a Grand Slam Champion in his final hometown appearance. While the loss ended Dominik’s title reign, former WWE Champion Big E explained on the WWE Raw Recap why the match was a huge step forward for the young star’s career.
### A ‘Big Co-Sign’ For Dominik
Big E noted that being in a competitive match with Cena during his retirement tour is a massive endorsement from the company.
“I know that it’s a losing effort, but I do love this for Dom. We have what, four more weeks of John Cena’s career, and Dominik Mysterio is not in a squash match with John Cena, he’s going toe to toe with John Cena, he’s getting mic time with John Cena. I understand that he lost the title to Cena, but I think this was a big moment for Dom. ‘Passing of the torch moment’ might not be the right way to put it, but I think it is a big co-sign that yeah, Dom is a guy who we’re going to invest in for a long time.”
### A Pivotal Career Moment
Big E stated that he believes this match will be remembered as a key moment in Dominik’s eventual rise to the main event.
“He didn’t get the job done, but I love this for Dom, and I think this is going to be a moment we look back on when Dom is a world champion, who knows, a year, two years from now, whenever that time comes.”
“I think we’ll look back at pivotal moments in his career, his ascension to that top spot, and we’ll look at this as a great moment in his career.”

John Cena discussed for 18th World Title win (REPORTS)
John Cena already holds the record for the most world title reigns with 17 after beating Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. However, the latest reports suggest that WWE discussed the possibility of making Cena an 18-time WWE World Champion.
One of the main storylines for Cena’s farewell tour was his pursuit of world title No. 17 to break Ric Flair’s record. Although he failed to win the Royal Rumble, Cena earned a shot at Rhodes by winning the Elimination Chamber. He also turned heel, which helped ensure his record-breaking victory at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
With John Cena’s retirement tour set to conclude on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C., some interesting plans were pitched for “The GOAT.” Fightful Select reported that there were discussions about putting another world title on Cena, especially amid Seth Rollins’ legitimate shoulder injury. Ultimately, WWE decided on a different approach: a tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent.
The tournament, called “Last Time is Now,” will feature 16 stars from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. Cena even mentioned the possibility of including stars not currently under WWE contract. The first four names announced for the tournament were Sheamus, Damian Priest, Rusev, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Cena has a long history with both Sheamus and Rusev throughout his illustrious career.
John Cena has just four appearances left in his farewell tour as his in-ring career nears its end. His next scheduled appearance is on Monday Night RAW in Boston—his hometown—which will be a significant moment for the WWE Universe. That card will also feature two tournament matches, so Cena is likely to play a prominent role.
Following Boston, Cena is set to appear on the November 17 episode of RAW in New York City. This will mark his final active appearance at the iconic Madison Square Garden.
Cena’s last two dates on the tour are Survivor Series: WarGames in San Diego and Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C. Rumors suggest Cena could face Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Additionally, Gunther has been tipped as Cena’s potential final opponent, though nothing has been officially confirmed as of this writing.
As Cena’s farewell tour draws to a close, fans eagerly await the final chapters of one of wrestling’s greatest careers.

WWE Hall of Famer slams “stupid Mexican traditions” after Dominik Mysterio incident
A WWE Hall of Famer has called out Mexican wrestling traditions following an incident involving Dominik Mysterio.
Dirty Dom recently defended the AAA Mega Championship at Héroes Inmortales 2025 against Dragon Lee. In a hard-fought contest, Dominik successfully walked out with his title, but the match was marred by an unsavory incident.
After the match, a coin thrown by a fan struck Dominik in the head, leaving him busted open just above the eyebrow. While fans in Mexico have been known to throw coins into the ring as a show of respect, WWE Hall of Famer JBL was far from impressed.
Speaking on the *Something to Wrestle With* podcast, JBL criticized the fans for injuring Dominik. He said,
“Listen, I saw some of these comments about, ‘Hey, WWE needs to keep the tradition.’ What the hell is wrong with you people? They’re not throwing coins into the ring, they’re throwing coins at Dom, you dumbas**s, and you are dumb as**s for throwing it. You got him busted open that badly. That’s not throwing a coin in the ring for, ‘Hey, here’s something really cool for you,’ that’s throwing a coin at Dom.”
JBL went on to call out the fans’ actions, emphasizing that this wasn’t the old tradition of throwing coins in the ring to show admiration but rather an attempt to harm Dominik Mysterio.
“So don’t tell me about your stupid Mexican traditions and all this bullsh*t about how WWE is going to keep this tradition. No, do you throw these guys out of the arena? Because what they’re doing is they’re trying to make the baby the heel or babyface, whatever he is, both, I think, blink. That’s why they throw sh*t at you. They throw sh*t at you to make you flinch or whatever else they think is funny. That’s what they’re doing,” he added.
You can watch the interview below:
[Embed video here]
Following the incident, El Grande Americano came out to the ring to check on Dominik and helped him to his feet.
### Dominik Mysterio Addresses Mexican Fans
After the show, Lucha Libre AAA shared a backstage clip showing Dominik Mysterio boasting about his win and addressing the coin-throwing incident. He acknowledged that the coin toss is a Mexican tradition but made it clear that he doesn’t need their money.
He jokingly challenged the fans, saying if they want to throw something, they should try bills instead. Dominik then referred to himself as the “King of Wrestlers.”
### What’s Next for Dominik Mysterio?
Dominik Mysterio will be in action at *Saturday Night’s Main Event*, where he will defend his Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Penta and Rusev.

After John Cena and AJ Styles, another WWE star makes statement on retiring – kicks off tour
John Cena is set to retire later this year, while AJ Styles has announced that he will be retiring in 2026. Following these announcements, another WWE star has now made a statement regarding his career plans.
Sheamus took to social media today after Monday Night RAW to let fans know that he has no intention of retiring anytime soon. The Celtic Warrior made a strong return to action during the Battle Royal on RAW, proving that he is as in-ring ready as ever. This marks the beginning of what he is calling his “Never Retiring Tour.”
On social media, Sheamus declared, “Sheamus ‘Never F***ing Retiring Tour’ started Monday 20th October 2025. Bangers never quit.” This statement suggests that as long as he is passionate about his matches and is actively competing, he plans to keep going and not hang up his boots.
Like John Cena and AJ Styles, Sheamus has enjoyed a long and successful career in WWE. However, there is still one goal he wants to achieve before calling it a day: capturing the Intercontinental Championship. The Celtic star has revealed that he has accomplished everything he set out to in his career except for winning this prestigious title.
Sheamus may have already found the perfect opportunity to chase that goal. During RAW, he seemingly began a feud with the Judgment Day faction after taking out JD McDonagh and Finn Balor. Although he was eventually thrown out, he fought his way back to the ringside area, signaling the start of a heated rivalry.
With Dominik Mysterio, a member of Judgment Day, currently holding the Intercontinental Championship, Sheamus might have just set his sights on reclaiming the honor. Fans can expect an exciting storyline to develop as the Celtic Warrior goes after the title he has long desired.
