AEW head honcho Tony Khan supposedly has a huge initiative in mind pertaining to his company’s women’s division. Former WWE superstar and current ROH Women’s Champion Athena has shed some light on the plan in question during a recent interview. This past weekend, All Elite Wrestling hosted this year’s edition of the WrestleDream pay-per-view in St. Louis, MO. This Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, the promotion officially revealed the brackets for the tournament intended to crown the inaugural Women’s World Tag Team Champions, weeks after the belts were officially unveiled. Also last month, Jamie Hayter challenged The Triangle of Madness to face her and her allies in the first-ever Women’s Blood and Guts match. The aforementioned announcements and angles have injected a lot of excitement and momentum into AEW’s currently stacked women’s division. It appears that Tony Khan may have an even grander plan in the making for his female performers, in the form of an all-women’s show. During her recent interview with WFAA 8, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena revealed that the All Elite head honcho had “absolutely” considered running a women’s event, and that manifesting such a show was just a matter of timing. “Absolutely. I know TK has absolutely thought about that; it’s just about timing when it comes to those things. We have the best roster in the world. I know everybody says it, but we actually do have the best roster in the world. I do know that is on his brain, it’s been on his brain since I have been in AEW at least. It’s just about timing.” [H/T TJR Wrestling] It remains to be seen if All Elite Wrestling will organize an all-women’s event anytime soon. Athena found a tag partner on this week’s AEW Dynamite Mercedes Mone’s big celebration on the October 22 episode of Dynamite, following on her eleventh and twelfth title wins this past weekend, unfortunately ended in humiliation for the former WWE superstar, as she was embarrassed and eventually ambushed by Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander. Afterwards, The CEO was approached backstage by Athena, who offered to team up with Mercedes to bring home the Women’s World Tag Team Titles. It remains to be seen if the “Forever” ROH Women’s Champion will win her first All Elite title with “Ultimo” Mone, who is herself scheduled to challenge Statlander for her AEW Women’s Championship at Full Gear 2025.

Thunder get massive praise from Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith
Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith had high praises for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder as the 2025-26 NBA season kicked off. The Thunder are on a quest to repeat as NBA champions, having secured the title last season. Despite starting the campaign without Jalen Williams due to injury, the team held down the fort with a strong performance against the Houston Rockets in their season opener.
Barkley and Smith shared their thoughts on the Thunder ahead of the team’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers during a segment of *Inside the NBA* on Thursday. Barkley praised the squad for its impressive depth. “That’s why this team is a favorite. They’re the deepest team in the NBA. They’re two-deep, they’re pretty much three-deep in their positions. They got it all, so they are heavy favorites. But I’m telling you, man, they just plug and play, because as long as they got [Gilgeous-Alexander] and [Chet Holmgren], they got to be,” Barkley said.
Kenny Smith echoed this sentiment, highlighting the team’s balance even without its star players. “Let’s say Shai has to do something for a month, they’re still a playoff team. They would be a top eight team in the West without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander—that’s how strong this team is,” Smith replied.
### How Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder Played in the First Half vs. Pacers
The praise from Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith speaks volumes about the championship-level talent on the Thunder roster. Currently, Oklahoma City leads Indiana 54-47 at halftime in their first rematch since Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
Indiana is missing star guard Tyrese Haliburton, who will miss the entire season while rehabbing a torn Achilles. This absence has presented a challenge for the Pacers’ offense, which showed as Oklahoma City outscored them 32-22 in the second quarter.
Only two players on the Thunder have scored in double figures so far. Gilgeous-Alexander is leading the charge with 21 points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block. He’s been efficient, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and a near-perfect 11-of-12 from the free-throw line. Ajay Mitchell is next with 10 points and two rebounds, while Chet Holmgren has contributed five points and two steals.
### What’s Next for the Thunder?
Following this matchup, the Thunder will continue their road trip. They are set to face the Atlanta Hawks on October 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET. With their depth and star talent, Oklahoma City looks poised to make another strong run this season.

“I was getting ston*d” – Celebrity star details his WWE debut alongside Randy Orton; reveals segment didn’t go as rehearsed
WWE has featured a number of celebrities in the squared circle over the past few years. From Bad Bunny to Travis Scott, the company has managed to include some of the biggest names in entertainment time and time again.
Back in November last year, on WWE RAW, music sensation Jelly Roll was featured as a guest on the show. He was involved in a backstage interaction as well as a segment inside the squared circle. Following his segments, Jelly Roll sat at ringside to witness the main event match between Randy Orton and Dominik Mysterio.
During the match, Mysterio—accompanied by JD McDonagh—was trying to leave the arena early when Jelly Roll unexpectedly took McDonagh down and pushed Mysterio towards Randy Orton, who delivered a thunderous RKO.
### What Really Happened Behind the Scenes?
While the segment made headlines worldwide, it wasn’t exactly what the stars had rehearsed. In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Jelly Roll revealed that Randy Orton was originally set to smash Mysterio through an announce table when he pushed him toward “The Viper.”
Jelly Roll shared that the moment felt surreal and “like the coolest thing ever.” He added that he never anticipated this spontaneous action would lead to their match at SummerSlam.
> “I’m sure y’all know this about the Viper already, but none of that happened in rehearsal,” Jelly Roll said.
> “In rehearsal, I was supposed to push Dom into him, and he was supposed to table him, you know, the Randy table drop. So I was gonna push him back, Randy’s gonna be there, and I was gonna push him. Instead, it was like so when Randy does it, walks over to me. I was like, ‘Oh, this is the coolest thing ever, dude.’ And it was cool because obviously I was getting stoned in the back, so that’s what he’s alluding to.”
He further added:
> “I smelled like a big reefer, but he’s just so awesome. And then I was in the back that night doing my interview, I think maybe with Jackie, and he stopped and crashed my interview and put his arm around me and was like, ‘Man, I’m proud of you, man.’ A lot of the celebrities have come here, gave the big rub on camera right then too. And I would have never guessed that that was going to us being able to wrestle together.”
### When Will Jelly Roll Appear in WWE Again?
Since his massive WWE debut match alongside Randy Orton against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam, Jelly Roll has not been seen on WWE television. The music sensation has not been advertised for any upcoming WWE shows, and his return date to the company remains unknown.
Fans will have to wait and see what WWE has in store for Jelly Roll’s next appearance in the squared circle.

Report: Carl Lawson agrees to terms with Ravens
The Ravens have agreed to terms with defensive end Carl Lawson, according to Jordan Schultz of Always On!. Lawson worked out for the Ravens prior to reaching the agreement.
Last season with the Cowboys, Lawson recorded five sacks and 15 quarterback hits over 15 games. He played 401 defensive snaps in 2024, showcasing his durability and impact on the field.
Throughout his career, Lawson has amassed 32 sacks and 122 quarterback hits while playing for the Bengals (2017-2020), Jets (2022-2023), and Cowboys (2024).
The Ravens, currently ranked 30th in yards allowed and 32nd in points allowed, are clearly looking to strengthen their defense. Adding Lawson to the roster will provide much-needed help to the team’s defensive front.

‘What he did was wrong’: Denver judge under investigation for allegedly paying defendant’s $1 bond
A Denver County Court judge is under investigation after allegedly paying a $1 bond for a defendant in his courtroom in August, Denver7 Investigates has learned.
Judge Barry Schwartz has been reassigned and is not hearing cases while the investigation continues.
The incident in question occurred during an August 15 court appearance where Schwartz was overseeing a bond forfeiture hearing for a probation violation in a 2016 misdemeanor assault case. A representative for the defendant told the court that although bond is typically set at $1 in these cases, she was asking for a personal recognizance bond because she did not have a dollar.
Denver7 Investigates obtained an audio recording of a roughly three-minute portion of the hearing in which Schwartz is heard telling the attorney, “We have a dollar.”
“It’s pretty black and white,” said Denver-based attorney Harvey Steinberg. “What he did was wrong.”
Denver7 Investigates asked Steinberg and retired Pueblo Chief Judge Dennis Maes to independently review the audio recording. Both said they have never heard of a judge acting in this manner.
“It shocked me,” Maes said. “We’re supposed to be impartial. We are not to let our emotions get carried away in the courtrooms so that we can make solid courtroom decisions.”
A Denver County Court spokesperson confirmed in a statement that they received a complaint about one of their judges and referred the matter to the Colorado Commission on Judicial Discipline.
Maes added that the amount of money — just $1 — doesn’t excuse what Schwartz did, and that it would be just as problematic if the bond was $1,000. He also pointed to the Colorado Code of Judicial Conduct, a set of rules and regulations that judges are sworn to uphold.
Canon Two of the code states:
“A judge should respect and comply with the law and should conduct himself or herself at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary.”
Canon Three is subtitled:
“A judge should perform the duties of his or her office impartially and diligently.”
“Judges don’t assist defendants,” Steinberg said. “You’re in the middle. You’re supposed to be the person who makes sure that the law is followed. You’re supposed to be the sense of propriety. You’re supposed to have a sense of fairness. What he did clearly crosses the line.”
Regarding the investigation, both Steinberg and Maes feel that Schwartz should be able to keep his job despite his misstep.
“I would not remove him permanently from the bench,” Maes said. “He thought in his heart he was doing the right thing and he let his emotions get in the way for a while. While it’s serious, it would not, to me, rise to the level of removal.”
Steinberg added, “Now the question is, for what I’m going to call a foolish mistake, should he lose his job? I don’t think so. I think he did what he felt was an act of kindness. I would like to see more judges act kindly and compassionately toward defendants, but he also has to realize his role in the system and not step down from the bench and take sides.”
Denver7 Investigates requested an interview with Schwartz. A spokesperson responding on his behalf declined, stating it would be inappropriate to comment while the matter is pending. A request for a copy of the complaint was also denied.
Sources tell Denver7 Investigates that Schwartz is still receiving full pay but is currently doing office work and processing warrants while the investigation continues.
In response to Denver7’s investigation, a spokesperson with the Denver County Court sent the following full statement:

Rangers’ Matt Rempe exits with injury after heavyweight bout Sharks’ Ryan Reaves
Thursday night’s Rangers-Sharks game brought a heavyweight clash to Madison Square Garden. Less than six minutes into the contest, hulking Rangers forward Matt Rempe duked it out with Sharks forward and former Blueshirt Ryan Reaves after the latter hit New York’s Juuso Parssinen.
With the Rangers in control of the puck in the offensive zone, play stopped as the 6-foot-9 Rempe dropped the gloves with the 6-2 Reaves. The two, who fought previously in Toronto in 2024, circled around as they sized each other up before grabbing onto one another and trading blows. Reaves appeared to land the first punch in earnest.
Both players threw shots up high, with Reaves getting in the earlier punches. However, Rempe landed some notable last licks on the San Jose player’s head after holding the white sweater over Reaves’ head. That’s when referees eventually stepped in to stop the fight, prompting the Garden crowd to roar in approval.
Commentator Kenny Albert summed it up perfectly during the ESPN call, calling it “The main event at Madison Square Garden.”
Unfortunately, Rempe did not return for the start of the second period, as he was sidelined for the night with what the team deemed an “upper-body injury.”

EXCLUSIVE: Farrah Abraham ‘Seeking Justice’ and Has ‘Legal Counsel’… After ‘Teen Mom’ Star Claimed School ‘Expelled Her’ Over Support of Late Right-Wing Podcaster Charlie Kirk
**Reality Star Farrah Abraham Claims Expulsion from Western Governors University Over Support for Charlie Kirk**
*Published Oct. 23, 2025, 7:08 p.m. ET*
Reality TV personality Farrah Abraham has come forward claiming she is “seeking justice” and has secured “legal counsel” after allegedly being expelled from Western Governors University (WGU) for supporting conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Abraham was enrolled in WGU’s online, self-paced Master’s program in Marketing when the dispute arose.
—
### Farrah Abraham Speaks Out on Alleged Expulsion
On Jeff Fargo’s podcast *Fargo Talks*, the *Teen Mom OG* alum shared her perspective on the situation:
> “For one, politics do not need to be brought into school dynamics. But when seeing irrational, radical left taking over in a hostile manner and then, yeah, Charlie Kirk died while I’m getting a master’s. Of course, I’m gonna talk about that.”
She continued, attributing her expulsion to her political beliefs:
> “And that is a sad reason why I got expelled, I guess. For my beliefs and them stalking my social media and anything that I say.”
Abraham questioned how a student could be expelled from a *self-paced* program, insisting that such an action is “against their civil rights” and “against the law.”
> “The majority of them don’t show up to work or school, but they do show up to harm and hurt your own dreams, your own goals, and get in the way of that. Which in turn fails the mission of all universities, which is to increase their graduation rates,” she added.
—
### Abraham Confirms Legal Action
RadarOnline.com reached out to Abraham for more details about the matter. She confirmed she is pursuing legal action against WGU.
> “I am suing for violation of due process, malice, predetermined hearing outcome, obstruction of my diploma, and mental disability discrimination,” Abraham stated.
> “It’s not one thing — it’s a lot I am suing for.”
She also revealed she had already received a refund related to what she calls the school’s “deceptive marketing practices” and “education fraud.”
> “I also finished my application for law school,” she added.
Regarding the current status, Abraham said:
> “I have legal counsel and am seeking justice for obstructing my diploma when I finished the entire program.
> And no one in a self-paced executive master’s program should deal with deceptive marketing practices, mental disability discrimination, and [be] obstructed from their hard-earned diploma with education fraud.”
—
### Google Review Slam of Western Governors University
Abraham took her grievances to Google Reviews, where she posted a scathing critique of WGU:
> “After not being able to have a self-paced program as marketed, said by their student sales team—on top of being discriminated against for mental disabilities registered for ADA accommodations over a year ago, retaliated against and an unsafe educational abusive environment and had to open two investigations to TITLE IX & another department for filed reports, investigations and used their own class tools to show how non accessible their program is.”
She accused the school of failing to properly coordinate her ADA accommodations, stating:
> “I literally stayed focused on my courses and was trying to graduate early yet a sub teacher and the conduct department inserted themselves and would not legally coordinate ADA accommodations and continued to lie to all staff and create a sabotaging and destructive experience as I was threatened to lock me out of classes I paid for this term.”
> “This is financial abuse.”
Abraham also called out WGU’s mentors as “puppets,” insisting that when a student “needs help,” “there’s no one there.”
—
### Allegations of Violating School’s Code of Conduct
Attached to her Google review, Abraham included emails from WGU accusing her of violating the school’s code of conduct.
The emails cited interactions she had with staff via email on two occasions in early July that the school claimed did not meet their professional standards.
In these communications, Abraham strongly advocated for her ADA accommodations and reportedly told a teacher it was “disrespectful” they “could not read.”
Abraham appealed the violation and is currently awaiting a response, but she claims the school “keep extending it after they blocked” her.
> “I am a student in community care and never received my SDS approved accommodations, all departments conspired and obstructed my diploma,” she added.
—
### Western Governors University Declines to Comment
RadarOnline.com reached out to Western Governors University for comment on the allegations and current situation, but the university declined to respond.
—
*Farrah Abraham’s case raises questions about student rights, ADA accommodations, and the policies surrounding self-paced academic programs. We will continue to follow this story as it develops.*

Report warns reforms are fueling rise in Colorado violent crime
As part of efforts to lower its prison population, a recent report found that both incarceration rates and arrests in Colorado have declined sharply over the past decade. The state’s rate of recidivism—when a convicted criminal reoffends—has also decreased. However, this does not necessarily mean that crime is decreasing.
Instead, the report attributes these declines to a prioritization by lawmakers on leniency. This approach has largely led to reductions in recidivism, arrests, and the overall prison population.
“Over the past two decades, Colorado has pursued a steady course of criminal justice reform aimed at reducing the footprint of the state’s correctional system,” the report stated. “Lawmakers have prioritized leniency: lower sentences for drug offenses, expanded parole and probation opportunities, and restrictions on law enforcement discretion.”
This tension between enforcement and leniency is reflected in the state’s crime trends over the past decade. From 2014 to 2024, the number of arrests declined by nearly 30%. Similarly, Colorado’s recidivism rate fell by 40% between 2008 and 2019—ranking as the third-highest decline of any state nationwide.
“In 2008, Colorado had the country’s fifth highest recidivism rate,” said DJ Summers, the institute’s director of communications and research operations, during a press conference about the report on Tuesday. “Now the state’s recidivism has dropped to a more average rate.”
The decline in arrests has played a significant role in this progress. Between 2016 and 2024, the total number of inmates in Colorado’s prisons and jails decreased by 12%. This drop was largely due to a significant reduction in the prison population in 2020, when many inmates were released early amid public health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since 2020, the prison population has been slowly increasing again—though it remains below levels seen in the 2010s.
Despite these positive trends in incarceration and recidivism, the report warns that the overall picture is more complex. From 2014 to 2024, Colorado’s violent crime rate increased by more than 55%.
Looking more closely between December 2019 and December 2021, the report found that while the number of inmates in state prisons fell by over 20%, the violent crime rate rose nearly 25%.
“Arrest counts and violent crime have been shifting at inversely proportional rates, meaning that as arrests decrease, violent crime increases,” the report noted.
Summers added that Common Sense Institute conducted an analysis showing a “strong correlation” between decreases in arrests and prison population and increases in crime.
Furthermore, even with the decline in the recidivism rate, 31% of inmates released by the Colorado Department of Corrections still return to prison within three years.
The report argues that it is time to refocus the state’s priorities away from leniency and toward deterrence, accountability, and public safety.
“The state’s challenge is no longer to reduce its correctional footprint; it is to restore accountability and deterrence without abandoning compassion,” the report stated. “Colorado must find a middle ground between punitive excess and permissive neglect.”
