Anushka-Virat’s wedding was chaotic? The Wedding Filmer shares inside story

**Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s Wedding: The Chaotic Yet Divine Inside Story**
*By Apoorva Rastogi | Oct 04, 2025, 02:34 pm*

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s 2017 wedding was a beautiful and intimate affair cherished by fans worldwide. However, behind the scenes, the couple faced unexpected challenges that nearly disrupted their special day. Vishal Punjabi, famously known as The Wedding Filmer, recently revealed the untold story of how heavy rain forced a last-minute venue change, causing chaos for the entire wedding planning team.

### The Wedding Chaos: Rain Forces Last-Minute Venue Shift

In an exclusive interview with Adhunika Singh on her YouTube channel, Vishal Punjabi disclosed that rain rained out the original wedding plan, compelling the organizers to move the mandap location unexpectedly. Punjabi shared, “Virat and Anushka’s wedding was rained out. They shifted the location at the last minute. Devika Narain didn’t sleep all night.”

Devika Narain, the wedding planner, worked tirelessly overnight to manage the sudden shift. Despite the chaos, both Anushka and Virat fully trusted Narain’s expertise and taste to keep the event flawless.

### Behind the Scenes: A Secretive and Intimate Celebration

Interestingly, Punjabi revealed that he wasn’t informed about the identity of the wedding couple until he arrived at the venue. “It was all kept under wraps. But you kind of figure out that it might be them. They trusted their planners, who trusted us,” he said. “It was a very small wedding, and it felt like everyone was together.”

### A Unique Experience: Spirituality and Love in the Air

Reflecting on his experience filming the wedding, Punjabi remarked, “They were really nice to me, they were really kind to me. They gave me space. I felt a certain level of Sufism at the wedding. There was a divine love for God’s spirituality and for each other. And it felt divine.”

### The Wedding Setting: A Close-Knit Gathering in Tuscany

In an earlier podcast interview with Shivani Pau, Punjabi spoke about the wedding’s cozy and intimate nature. “A small gathering in Tuscany is doable. That’s what Virat Kohli did. Cricket is a religion in India, and he’s a god. He and Anushka got married in Tuscany. It was really beautiful.”

He added, “The closest family and friends—only 40 of them, including mum, dad, makeup artists, and us. They smashed the wedding.”

### The Couple’s Journey: From Private Romance to Family Life

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli first met in 2013 during the shooting of a television commercial. Though their romance blossomed quickly, they kept their relationship private. The couple married in 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Italy.

Since then, their family has grown with the arrival of their daughter, Vamika, born in January 2021, and their son, Akaay, born in 2024.

### Vishal Punjabi’s Notable Work

Vishal Punjabi has also filmed weddings for other prominent couples, including Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, as well as Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, earning a reputation as one of the most sought-after wedding filmmakers in the industry.

This inside story highlights how, despite unforeseen challenges, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, spirituality, and togetherness — a day to remember for everyone involved.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s 2017 wedding was widely celebrated as a beautiful and intimate affair. However, behind the scenes, the day was far from smooth. Vishal Punjabi, famously known as The Wedding Filmer, recently opened up about the unexpected chaos that unfolded due to heavy rain forcing a last-minute change in the wedding venue.

**Rain Forces Last-Minute Venue Shift**

In an exclusive interview with Adhunika Singh on her YouTube channel, Punjabi revealed details of the wedding day drama. They shifted the location at the last minute. Devika Narain, the wedding planner, didn’t sleep all night.”

Despite the challenges, the couple placed full trust in Devika Narain’s expert judgment and taste, ensuring the day remained as special as planned.

**A Wedding Kept Under Wraps**

Interestingly, Punjabi wasn’t informed about whose wedding he was filming until he arrived at the venue. “It was all kept under wraps. But you kind of figure out that it might be them,” he said. The wedding was a very private affair with only close family and friends present. “They trusted their planners, who trusted us. It was a very small wedding, and it felt like everyone was together.”

**A Glimpse Into Sharma and Kohli’s Journey**

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli first met in 2013 while shooting a television commercial. Their romance blossomed quietly, away from the public eye. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy in 2017.

Since then, their family has grown with the birth of their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021, followed by their son, Akaay, born in 2024.

**The Wedding Filmer’s Prestigious Portfolio**

Apart from capturing the Sharma-Kohli nuptials, Vishal Punjabi has been the creative mind behind wedding films for other prominent couples, including Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, and Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

*Anushka and Virat’s wedding may have faced unexpected hurdles, but with impeccable planning and trust, their special day turned out to be as magical and intimate as the love they share.*

Metrolink from airport to Dublin granted planning permission

The Metrolink connecting Dublin Airport to the city centre has been granted planning permission. The 18.8 km MetroLink rail line, most of which will be underground, is set to run from north of Swords to Charlemont in the south of Dublin city centre, with an estimated cost of €11 billion.

An Coimisiún Pleanála decided to grant permission generally in accordance with an inspector’s recommendation, which is contained in a comprehensive 1,600-page report. In granting the railway order, it also allows for the compulsory acquisition of land required for the project.

Various Metro projects for the capital have been proposed over recent decades, but none have yet proceeded to the construction stage despite more than €100 million being spent on planning those routes. Once operational, trains are expected to run every three minutes during peak periods.

The approval was welcomed by Minister for Transport Darragh O’Brien, who plans to bring proposals to the Government for the establishment of MetroLink as a statutory delivery body responsible for overseeing the project’s construction. This is the largest single investment project outlined in the National Development Plan.

Minister O’Brien stated, “MetroLink will be transformative for the people of North Dublin and the entire country. It will provide a fast, high-capacity, high-frequency public transport route, and it will enable the construction of tens of thousands of new homes.”

Dublin Chamber also welcomed the decision, calling the metro a game-changer for the capital. However, it warned that work must start without delay to realize the benefits as soon as possible.

The Railway Order authorizes all necessary works for the construction of MetroLink. The journey time from Swords to the city centre is expected to be approximately 25 minutes.

*Note: By the end of 2023, over €150 million had been spent on MetroLink developments.*

What is Ghost of Yotei’s Watanabe Mode?

**Everything You Need to Know About Ghost of Yotei’s Watanabe Mode**

*Ghost of Yotei* offers an assortment of gameplay modes that players can enjoy, but one mode in particular—Watanabe Mode—has sparked a lot of questions. Here’s a detailed look at what Watanabe Mode is, its inspirations, and how to activate it.

### What Is Ghost of Yotei’s Watanabe Mode?

Watanabe Mode is a special gameplay option that transforms the game’s soundtrack. Instead of the more traditional musical themes you might expect, activating this mode replaces the audio with a set of tracks inspired by the iconic works of anime director Shinichiro Watanabe.

Despite its audio focus, Watanabe Mode can be easily switched on in the *Display* settings tab within the main settings menu.

### Origins of the Music in Watanabe Mode

A common point of confusion is the origin of the tracks featured in this mode. The game’s menu clarifies that the music was created **under the direction of** Shinichiro Watanabe, rather than being composed by Watanabe himself.

Throughout his career, Watanabe has collaborated with highly talented musicians and producers on acclaimed anime such as *Cowboy Bebop*, *Samurai Champloo*, *Space Dandy*, and *Terror in Resonance*. His guidance and vision have helped shape some of the most respected soundtracks in the anime world.

### The Sound and Style of Watanabe Mode

According to a user named Scannerbarkly on Cortex, the music in Watanabe Mode closely follows the stylistic cues of the popular “Lo-fi Beats” genre. This style grew from the influence of artists like Nujabes, whose work on the *Samurai Champloo* soundtrack left a lasting legacy.

Unlike the jazzy, horn-driven themes of *Cowboy Bebop*, Watanabe Mode’s music stays softer and more percussion-light. Compared to Nujabes’ distinctive Boom Bap drum beats, the mode’s tracks lean towards gentler percussion that’s characteristic of modern Lo-fi.

That being said, since the user hasn’t completed the game on Watanabe Mode, there might be hidden musical elements still undiscovered that add further depth and variety to the soundtrack.

### Combining Watanabe Mode With Other Styles

One of the coolest features of *Ghost of Yotei* is the ability to stack Watanabe Mode with other unique modes:

– **Kurosawa Mode**: Changes the game’s rendering to black and white, evoking the classic style of filmmaker Akira Kurosawa.
– **Miike Mode**: Adds more mud and blood effects while tightening the camera angle to mimic Takashi Miike’s intense cinematic style.

Stacking these modes together changes both the aesthetic and audio experience, allowing players to customize how they enjoy the game.

Whether you’re a fan of anime soundtracks or just looking to try something new in *Ghost of Yotei*, Watanabe Mode offers a compelling way to experience the game’s world through the lens of one of anime’s most influential directors. Don’t forget to explore the other modes as well for even more variety!

Kingdom Come Deliverance Remaster Is Rumored To Launch in Early 2026

A remaster or upgraded version of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance* is rumored to be in development, with a potential release window set for early 2026. This speculation has been circulating online, originating from a Reddit user, bertik11, who shared insights on the Leaks and Rumors subreddit.

According to bertik11, the first game in Warhorse Studios’ series will receive an upgrade sometime between January and April next year. The user also clarified that the studio is not currently working on a new *Lord of the Rings* game, as some rumors suggested, but is instead focused on developing their own fantasy title.

While this information comes from an unofficial source and should be taken with caution, bertik11 has a track record of accurate Kingdom Come: Deliverance-related rumors. For instance, last year, they correctly revealed the delay of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance II* to 2025 prior to the official announcement. They also predicted the medieval village design of the game’s Gamescom booth, which was later confirmed.

*Kingdom Come: Deliverance* was well-received as a solid role-playing game upon its initial release in 2018. However, a remaster could significantly enhance the experience, especially if it addresses some of the game’s most critical issues. Improvements in quality of life, such as streamlining the steep learning curve and refining the user interface, would make the game more accessible. This would benefit players who enjoyed its excellent sequel but have yet to experience the beginning of Henry of Skalitz’s story firsthand.

Fasting for detox: Myth v/s facts

**Fasting for Detox: Myth vs. Facts**
*By Simran Jeet | Sep 30, 2025, 11:17 AM*

Fasting has long been promoted as a method to detoxify the body, but many myths often cloud the true facts. While numerous people believe fasting can cleanse the body of toxins, scientific evidence supporting this claim remains limited. Understanding what fasting can and cannot do is crucial for anyone aiming to improve their health.

This article explores some common misconceptions about fasting and examines what it really does to your body.

### Myth #1: Fasting Removes All Toxins
A widespread myth is that fasting removes all toxins from the body. In reality, the human body already has efficient systems—such as the liver and kidneys—that naturally filter out toxins. Although some studies suggest that intermittent fasting may enhance metabolic processes, fasting does not directly eliminate toxins. Relying solely on fasting for detoxification may create a false sense of security regarding your health.

### Myth #2: Fasting Boosts Metabolism Significantly
Another common belief is that fasting dramatically increases metabolism. While short-term fasting can slightly raise metabolic rate by promoting hormone production like norepinephrine, this effect is temporary. In contrast, prolonged fasting may slow down metabolism, as the body adapts by conserving energy and reducing its basal metabolic rate.

### Myth #3: Fasting Guarantees Weight Loss
Many assume fasting guarantees effortless weight loss. While fasting—and the calorie restriction that comes with it—may lead to initial weight loss, it is often not sustainable in the long term. Once normal eating resumes, lost weight tends to return quickly if lifestyle and dietary habits are not changed alongside fasting.

### Myth #4: Fasting Improves Mental Clarity Instantly
Some people claim to experience immediate mental clarity and improved focus during fasting due to hunger-induced concentration. Although some individuals report enhanced concentration after adjusting to intermittent fasting schedules, results vary greatly. Mental sharpness is influenced by multiple factors beyond diet, including sleep quality and stress levels.

Understanding the realities of fasting enables smarter health choices. While fasting can offer benefits, it is not a magical solution for detoxification or weight loss. Combining fasting with balanced nutrition and a healthy lifestyle is key to achieving sustainable results.

How A.J. Hinch led Detroit Tigers to 2025 postseason with 'play the whole schedule' mantra

BOSTON — Detroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch has sounded like a broken record this season. That’s not a bad thing.

Over the past week, the 12-year MLB manager has repeated the same mantra in different ways — but it’s the exact message he has given his players throughout the entire 2025 season:

“The only thing we can do is play the schedule. Every team has the opportunity to play their schedule. We have nothing to do but get ready for tomorrow’s game because we’ve got to play the schedule.”

### Tigers Clinch 2025 Postseason Berth

After 161 of 162 games, the Tigers punched their ticket to the 2025 postseason with a 2-1 win over the Boston Red Sox on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Fenway Park. The two runs scored on Jahmai Jones’ single in the fifth inning secured the victory. This marks the Tigers’ second straight playoff berth.

“We have to play the whole schedule regardless — good times, bad times, good stretches, bad stretches,” said Hinch, whose Tigers had lost 12 of 14 games before clinching at least an American League wild-card berth. “We’ve got to play a full season to get where we want to get to.”

### Building Momentum Under Hinch and Harris

This is Hinch’s fifth season as manager and Scott Harris’ third season as president of baseball operations. The franchise has qualified for the postseason in 18 of its 125 seasons, with World Series titles in 1935, 1945, 1968, and 1984.

Harris remains confident about the Tigers’ potential in 2025.

“History,” Harris said. “There are countless examples of teams that maybe didn’t play their best baseball at the end of the regular season, got a fresh start, lined up their pitching, and got really hot in October. We’re going to do everything that we can to be one of those groups.”

### Star Pitcher Tarik Skubal Leads the Charge

Left-hander Tarik Skubal — the 2024 AL Cy Young winner and 2025 AL Cy Young favorite — is scheduled to start Game 1 of the wild-card series. In 31 starts last year, Skubal posted a 2.21 ERA with 33 walks and 241 strikeouts across 195⅓ innings.

In the 2024 postseason, the Tigers swept the Houston Astros in two games during the wild-card series, but eventually lost to the Cleveland Guardians in the best-of-five ALDS. The series was capped by Lane Thomas hitting a grand slam off Skubal in the fifth inning of Game 5.

“This is why you play the game,” Skubal said. “This is what you prepare for. This is why you do all this stuff in the offseason that you do. It’s why you spend the last seven months taking care of yourself daily, and you don’t let your routine change. You stay grinding and try to get a little bit better each and every day. At the end of the day, that’s all I can really control. I’ll do my best to win a game.”

### Perseverance Amidst Challenges

To advance, the Tigers had to play their full schedule — just like Hinch has preached. There were many ups and a few downs along the way, including a tough stretch of just eight wins in 29 games that nearly led to a complete collapse.

The Tigers posted a strong 59-34 record in their first 93 games but went 28-40 since then.

“Experience will tell me that so many things can happen,” Hinch said. “The minute that you don’t respect the entire schedule, which we have respected the whole schedule, but if you don’t, the sport is not very kind to you.”

Hinch has conveyed several key messages to his players throughout the 2025 season: win today’s game, win one series at a time, and play the full 162-game schedule. Now, the Tigers are celebrating another trip to the postseason.

“For the majority of this season, we were asked about postseason, we were asked about October, we were asked about the path to get there, but we hadn’t earned it yet,” Hinch said. “It’s hard to close out seasons, but this team stayed together. The most important thing that happened in the span of games we struggled in was that we never turned our back on one another.”

Sarnia’s third annual Ella-ween organ donation awareness event set for Oct. 19

**Ella-ween Returns for Its Third Annual Celebration Supporting Organ Donation Awareness**

“This is our third annual Ella-ween,” said Sue Morrison-Weir with SODA (Sarnia Organ Donor Association). The event’s namesake, Ella, passed away suddenly in 2022, but her donated organs saved at least two lives.

“Ella really loved Halloween,” Morrison-Weir shared. The child’s mother, Kristen Luckins, connected with SODA and came up with the idea for the event — and thus, Ella-ween was born. Luckins sits on the SODA board and continues to help organize the event, which was held for the first time in 2023.

Leading up to the event, “We have been collecting donated costumes, accessories, and Halloween décor items,” Morrison-Weir said. New Halloween makeup has also been donated. All items will be available for sale at Ella-ween for $10 or less each.

“As much as it’s a fundraiser, Ella-ween is about giving back to the community,” she explained. “Halloween is getting very expensive, including the cost of buying new costumes. We just wanted it to be fun for everyone.”

The event has attracted a few hundred attendees in past years. Fundraising efforts for SODA include proceeds from a 50-50 draw. On the day of the event, there will be Halloween-themed vendors on site, along with film characters in scary costumes, face painting by The Painted Cat, music, and a dance troupe teaching kids some dance moves.

“There is a lot of fun to be had,” Morrison-Weir said.

Donations for Ella-ween are accepted year-round and can still be dropped off in the coming days at several locations, including:

– Lochiel Kiwanis Centre
– Motion on Finch Drive
– The Painted Cat on Christina Street
– Hub Insurance on Exmouth Street
– 1112 Indian Rd. N.

“So far, I would say we have several hundred costumes,” Morrison-Weir noted. “They’re all sorted by size to make it easier for shoppers at Ella-ween.”

Ella-ween also supports important services provided by SODA, such as grief packages for donor families. “We also offer financial aid for people in Lambton County who are experiencing transplantation,” Morrison-Weir said.

Patients traveling to hospitals in Toronto for transplantation sometimes have to live there for several months after surgery and may face travel expenses for medical visits over extended periods. SODA offers financial assistance to help cover these costs.

The organization promotes awareness of organ transplantation and the importance of organ donation. Currently, an average of 1,400 individuals in Ontario are waiting for organ transplants, and 35 percent of the province’s residents are registered donors, according to SODA.

“I like to say we’re talking about life,” said Morrison-Weir. “We’re talking about people who wouldn’t survive without transplantation.”

The non-profit organization is entering its 31st year of operation. For more information, visit [www.sarniaorgandonors.ca](http://www.sarniaorgandonors.ca).

Two top Maoist leaders killed in major op on Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border

Our security forces are systematically dismantling the top leadership of the Naxals, breaking the backbone of red terror, Union Home Minister Amit Shah posted on X (formerly Twitter), praising the forces for their continued success.

According to a senior Chhattisgarh Police officer, the operation began early on Monday based on intelligence inputs about Maoist movements in the area. A gunbattle broke out when the forces reached the suspected hideout. “Two male Maoists were killed, and their bodies recovered from the spot,” the officer said.

Security forces recovered an AK-47 rifle, an INSAS rifle, a barrel grenade launcher (BGL), a large cache of explosives, Maoist literature, and other materials from the site.

Both commanders were natives of Karimnagar, Telangana, and had been active for over three decades, allegedly masterminding numerous deadly attacks on security forces and civilians in Bastar. Each carried a reward of Rs 40 lakh on their heads in Chhattisgarh.

These killings mark a significant blow to the Maoist leadership, said IG Bastar Range Sundarraj P, noting that police remain committed to counter-insurgency efforts despite challenging terrain and weather. He urged remaining militants to surrender and take advantage of the government’s rehabilitation policy, reported PTI.

With this operation, the number of Naxals killed in Chhattisgarh this year has risen to 249: 220 in Bastar, 27 in Gariaband, and two in Durg division. On September 11, 10 Naxals, including Central Committee member Modem Balakrishna, were killed in a major encounter in Gariaband.

### Chhattisgarh: 12 Naxals Carrying Rs 18 Lakh Bounty Surrender

Earlier, on September 18, twelve Naxals, including five women, carrying a total bounty of Rs 18 lakh, surrendered before the police in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district.

“12 Naxals carrying a total bounty of Rs 18 lakh have surrendered today. The group includes five women and seven men. Two of them were ECMs in their Naxal outfit in the Indravati and East Bastar areas,” Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Robinson Guria said.

The SP stated that under the surrender policy, each surrendered Naxal is given Rs 50,000, and identification documents are issued so that they can avail benefits under government schemes.

According to SP Guria, one of the surrendered Naxals belonged to Platoon 16, whose commander was neutralised in the last operation. He added that the Naxals surrendered due to the government’s surrender policy and increasing pressure from ongoing anti-N
