“He is in the shape of his life” – Thomas Tuchel hails ‘out of this world’ England star after their win over Serbia

Thomas Tuchel singled out Harry Kane for praise after England’s 2-0 win against Serbia in FIFA World Cup qualifying on Thursday.

Kane was named in the starting XI for the contest at Wembley and played for 65 minutes before he was replaced by Phil Foden in the 65th minute.

After the game, Tuchel was asked if Foden could challenge Kane to start important matches for England going forward. He said:
“It’s a big ask for [Phil Foden] to challenge Harry [Kane] at the moment. [Kane is] in the shape of his life. His attitude, work rate, quality and finishing ratio is just out of control [and] out of this world.”

Foden, who came on as a false nine for Kane, marked his appearance with an assist, setting up Eberechi Eze for England’s second goal. It was Foden’s first appearance for the national team since March.

Speaking after the match, the Manchester City star expressed excitement at returning to international duty. He said:
“It’s amazing to be back. I’m so happy to be back in the squad with these great players and I’m enjoying it. I thought I did well. I created some chances, we were unlucky not to put a few away. Overall, I have to be happy with the impact.”

The 25-year-old also hoped that his versatility could help him secure his place in Tuchel’s squad.

England’s 2-0 win against Serbia extended their World Cup qualifying run to seven wins from seven games.

Speaking about the match, Tuchel admitted that the game wasn’t a walk in the park but was happy with his side’s first-half performance.
“It was a difficult match. It was complicated because they knew everything about us and we knew nothing about them. Go through the list of players, they are at top clubs, they play in top leagues. They have individual quality, they came with new energy and they made it a final for them,” he said.

“I liked the first half a lot. I think we deserved to go up, I think we deserved to have maybe a second goal with Harry’s header. Second-half, we didn’t get the pressing right all the time, they escaped sometimes from the deep build-up into fast attacks so the back four had to work hard to keep the clean sheet.

“We had to overcome some difficult moments but I like it, not everything is easy. Not every win is 2-0, 3-0, 5-0. It is good. We kept a clean sheet and it was decisive in the end.”

The Three Lions will face Albania in their last group game on Sunday, November 16.

Pelicans’ DeAndre Jordan already making a locker room impact with Derik Queen

Just a few weeks ago, DeAndre Jordan’s career was in purgatory as he had yet to sign with a team. Thankfully, the New Orleans Pelicans took a chance on him to add more veteran presence to their young roster. While Jordan has not seen a lot of playing time, he has been a welcome addition to the locker room.

In particular, he has helped Derik Queen navigate his rookie season with the Pelicans. The Pelicans got their first win of the season on Tuesday after beating the Charlotte Hornets, 116-112. Queen had his best performance yet with 12 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and four steals in just 18 minutes off the bench.

As Queen was being interviewed in the locker room after the game, Jordan urged him to stand up and be proud of his all-around showing. The 20-year-old newcomer obliged with a smile.

“Come on, stand up, dog. You had 12, eight, and seven tonight. Don’t sit down. You got to stand on that s*** while doing the interview. There you go! Right on!” said Jordan in the video posted by Pelicans reporter Dylan Sanders.

The 37-year-old Jordan, who got a DNP versus the Hornets, is widely known in the NBA as a great teammate with a positive aura and easygoing character. Everywhere he goes, he becomes a beloved member of the team and the community. His steady presence will continue to be a significant factor for the Pelicans moving forward.

Queen stepped up in the absence of Zion Williamson, who will be out for at least a week due to a hamstring injury. The 13th overall pick out of Maryland should only get better as the season progresses—especially with Jordan cheering him on.

The Pelicans will aim for back-to-back victories when they go up against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. Clearly, Jordan doesn’t take his role sitting down.

Blue Jays bounce back against Dodgers to even World Series after extra-inning marathon

The best-of-seven World Series is all even at two games apiece after the Toronto Blue Jays bounced back from Monday’s epic 18-inning marathon to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-2 in Game 4 on Tuesday night.

Both teams were running on fumes following the nearly seven-hour showdown, but Toronto’s offense came alive behind Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette. The Dodgers took an early lead on a sacrifice fly from Enrique Hernández, but Guerrero Jr.’s two-run homer in the third inning put the Blue Jays ahead for good.

The Blue Jays’ victory came just hours after country music star Brad Paisley declared himself “Mr. More Baseball.” Paisley performed the national anthem before the marathon Game 3, which the Dodgers won 6-5 on Freddie Freeman’s homer that ended the game nearly seven hours after Paisley’s performance.

Shohei Ohtani, one of the Dodgers’ heroes this postseason, started Game 4 for Los Angeles. He pitched six innings, allowing four earned runs and striking out six. Ohtani made history just one night earlier, becoming the first player since 1906 to record four extra-base hits in a World Series game and reaching base nine times, tying a Series record.

For the Blue Jays, Bo Bichette delivered a two-RBI single in the seventh inning to extend the lead. Shane Bieber earned the win, pitching 5⅓ innings and allowing just one run. Ohtani was charged with the loss.

After Ohtani’s exit, the Dodgers used only three relievers, while the Blue Jays relied on four pitchers in total to close out the nine-inning win.

A House of Dynamite Star Explains Its Shocking Ending Death

**Jared Harris Reflects on Secretary Baker’s Tragic Fate in Kathryn Bigelow’s *A House of Dynamite***

In a recent interview with *The Wrap*, Jared Harris opened up about the emotional depth and ultimate fate of his character, Secretary Reid Baker, in Kathryn Bigelow’s *A House of Dynamite*. Harris delved into the motivations behind Baker’s heartbreaking decision and shared insights into the personal influences that shaped his performance.

Harris explained that Baker “didn’t want to live in a world where he’d lost his wife and his daughter.” The storyline poignantly explores “individual human beings who are put in the position to make choices that will affect millions of lives.” For Baker, the devastating loss of his daughter—who is portrayed by Kaitlyn Dever—following the death of his wife, becomes the catalyst for his fatal choice on the rooftop.

The actor revealed that both he and Bigelow carefully explored the strained relationship between Baker and his daughter. “At the end of the day, I think he needs help. And his daughter is processing her own grief. She can’t help him right now,” Harris said. “But he’s hopeful she someday can, and then losing her leads him to step off that roof.”

This harrowing moment takes place just after Baker hangs up on the president, who had been seeking his advice about a nuclear response. Harris described the scene as symbolic of moral paralysis when faced with immense pressure. “The president is asking for his advice and he hangs up the phone. Because he hears that they’ve got to the point where they’re deciding to respond to the attack, and he knows what that means,” he shared.

As Baker ascends to the rooftop and ultimately disappears from view, Harris added an intimate touch to his final line to Dever’s character, “That’s good.” He revealed that this line was inspired by Bruce Springsteen’s *The River* live album. “I took that line from Bruce Springsteen,” Harris said, recalling the singer’s story about his father’s quiet expression of care amidst hardship.

*A House of Dynamite* is now available for streaming on Netflix.

Jeremiyah Love makes Notre Dame history in win over USC

Notre Dame football leaned on a ground-and-pound approach to topple rival USC in a 34-24 Saturday home victory. Running back Jeremiyah Love took full advantage of a vulnerable USC run defense, delivering a historic performance that etched his name into the Notre Dame record books.

According to the ND football public relations team, Love’s 228 rushing yards mark the most ever by a Notre Dame player in a single game at Notre Dame Stadium. This feat stands out across 512 total games played in South Bend, highlighting just how remarkable his effort was.

Love’s dominant night was complemented by Jadarian Price’s electrifying 100-yard kickoff return, making it a memorable evening for the Fighting Irish. The preseason Heisman Trophy hopeful displayed the precision and power many had anticipated, this time against a USC team eyeing a College Football Playoff spot.

### USC Legend Praises Love with High Honor

Even a USC legend couldn’t help but acknowledge Love’s impact. Su’a Cravens openly criticized the Trojans’ defense while praising the Notre Dame running back. On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Cravens stated, “This ND O-Line was so physical they made Jeremiyah Love look like Prime Adrian Peterson.”

That’s high praise considering Adrian Peterson was the NFL MVP in 2012. Cravens saw glimpses of the same explosive style from Love but was quick to grade the USC front line and linebackers with an “F.”

### Love’s Physical Running Style

After the game, Love described his running mentality to reporters: “I love being physical, going out there and trying to run somebody over.” His aggressive style clearly played a big role in Notre Dame’s strategy and ultimate success.

Brian Hamilton of The Athletic summarized the sentiment well—Jeremiyah Love has undoubtedly earned the recognition and accolades that come with such a groundbreaking performance.

Dodgers Sweep Brewers to Win NLCS, Advance to Back-to-Back World Series: Shop Championship Gear

The Los Angeles Dodgers are heading back to the World Series. Behind dominant pitching, timely hitting, and another standout performance from Shohei Ohtani, the Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers in four games to win the National League Championship Series, capturing their second straight NL pennant.

After a back-and-forth regular season, Los Angeles caught fire in October, sweeping through the NLCS with poise and power. The Dodgers outscored the Brewers 24-10 across the four-game set, closing the series with a convincing 6-2 win at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night.

Shohei Ohtani once again proved why he’s baseball’s biggest two-way star. In the clinching Game 4, Ohtani belted three home runs and struck out 10, becoming the first player in MLB history to accomplish both feats in a postseason game. His dominance set the tone early, while Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts added crucial insurance runs late to seal the victory.

The Dodgers’ pitching staff also delivered, holding one of baseball’s best offenses in check. Walker Buehler and Tyler Glasnow combined for three wins in the series, while the bullpen allowed just three earned runs over 12 innings.

With the sweep, Los Angeles now heads to its second consecutive World Series, looking to defend last year’s title and continue its modern dynasty under manager Dave Roberts.

Comments Show Cowboys WR George Pickens Remains Own Worst Enemy

These are the salad days for the Dallas Cowboys with wide receiver George Pickens. Everything is going great. Pickens, in his first season with the Cowboys after being traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers in the offseason, has been lighting up opposing defenses.

Through six games, Pickens leads the NFL with six receiving touchdowns and ranks fourth in the league with 525 receiving yards. He’s coming off a bravura performance against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6, where he had nine receptions for 168 yards and one touchdown—his second game with over 130 receiving yards this season.

### Pickens Tries to Deflect Blame to Steelers

“That’s been such a vastly different Pickens experience than the Cowboys appear to be having,” Heavy.com’s Sean Deveney wrote on October 16. “Pickens has repeatedly talked about the closeness of the team and the wide receiver room. And his teammates and coaches have pointed out how much fun he is to have around in the locker room. He insists he was the same way with the Steelers, but that there were elements in the organization that sought to damage his image.”

So, what conspiracy or cabal sought to take down Pickens? That part isn’t totally clear.

“Especially off the cameras,” Pickens said. “I mean, I can’t record myself. Definitely, people can put stuff out there that can tarnish your image but I always feel like I was having fun.”

For several reasons, those are some wild things for Pickens to say. That begins with the fact that anyone with a smartphone knows you can record yourself, and ends with the idea that anyone but Pickens himself, all on his own, tarnished his image.

### Steelers’ Christmas Day Nightmare With Pickens

Imagine this: you’re an NFL team getting ready to play on Christmas Day, at home. Not only that, but you’ll be playing in front of tens of millions of people. At home, tens of millions will watch you in the first NFL regular-season games to stream on Netflix. And you’re doing it all against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

That was the situation the Steelers found themselves in on Christmas Day in 2024. And in the time they should have been the most laser-focused and dialed in in the hours leading up to kickoff, they found themselves dealing with a much different issue—that their star player, Pickens, was nowhere to be found.

“After the Steelers’ Week 13 win in Cincinnati, during which Pickens was flagged twice for unsportsmanlike conduct, the coach said the wideout needed to ‘grow up,’” The Athletic’s Mike DeFabo wrote in January 2025. “Pickens sat out the next two games with a hamstring injury. When he was finally healthy, how did he respond? By showing up late for the Christmas Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs.”

Coach Mike Tomlin asks players to report to games at least two hours before kickoff. On December 25, Pickens walked through the media entrance just an hour and 25 minutes before kickoff—after inactive players were announced.

George Pickens is undoubtedly thriving with the Dallas Cowboys, but his past in Pittsburgh is shrouded in controversy and missed opportunities. Only time will tell how his career continues to unfold.

Analysts Expect KIE To Hit $64

At ETF Channel, we analyzed the underlying holdings of the ETFs in our coverage universe by comparing the trading price of each holding against the average analyst 12-month forward target price. From this, we computed the weighted average implied analyst target price for the ETF itself.

For the SPDR S&P Insurance ETF (Symbol: KIE), we found that the implied analyst target price based on its underlying holdings is $63.98 per unit. With KIE trading recently near $58.32 per unit, this suggests that analysts see approximately 9.70% upside for this ETF when looking through to the average analyst targets of its underlying holdings.

Among KIE’s underlying holdings, three stocks stand out with notable upside potential relative to their analyst target prices: The Baldwin Insurance Group Inc (Symbol: BWIN), Globe Life Inc (Symbol: GL), and Allstate Corp (Symbol: ALL).

  • BWIN has recently traded at around $26.31 per share, while the average analyst target price is significantly higher at $38.00, representing an upside of 44.43%.
  • GL is trading near $138.10, with analysts setting a target price of $164.85, indicating a potential upside of 19.37%.
  • ALL has a recent price of $200.42, with an average target price of $233.05, suggesting an upside of 16.28%.

Combined, BWIN, GL, and ALL represent approximately 5.45% of the total SPDR S&P Insurance ETF holdings.

Below is a summary table of the recent prices and average analyst 12-month target prices for these securities:

Name Symbol Recent Price Avg. Analyst 12-Mo. Target % Upside to Target
SPDR S&P Insurance ETF KIE $58.32 $63.98 9.70%
The Baldwin Insurance Group Inc BWIN $26.31 $38.00 44.43%
Globe Life Inc GL $138.10 $164.85 19.37%
Allstate Corp ALL $200.42 $233.05 16.28%

While these upside figures highlight potential growth according to analyst targets, it is important for investors to consider whether these targets are justified. Are analysts being overly optimistic about where these stocks will trade 12 months from now? Alternatively, could the targets be outdated, not reflecting recent company or industry developments?

A high price target relative to a stock’s current trading price can signal optimism regarding future performance. However, it can also be a precursor to target price downgrades if the targets have not been updated to reflect the latest market conditions.

These questions merit further research by investors before making decisions. Evaluating a company’s fundamentals, industry trends, and recent developments can provide clearer insight into whether analyst targets are reasonable or overly bullish.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb drops 2-word reaction as George Pickens torches Jets’ defense in 37-22 win

George Pickens made a big splash in Week 5 with a 43-yard touchdown as the Dallas Cowboys defeated the New York Jets 37-22. Injured wide receiver CeeDee Lamb reacted to Pickens’ performance on Sunday by reposting the NFL’s highlight of Pickens along with a succinct two-word caption: “That Guy!”

The play occurred late in the third quarter. Dak Prescott threw deep, Pickens outran the Jets defender, and scored easily. It was one of many big plays that helped Dallas take control early. The Cowboys led 23-3 at halftime and maintained their advantage throughout the game.

That touchdown marked George Pickens’ fifth of the season. With that score, Pickens became the first player in Cowboys history to secure five touchdown receptions in his first five games.

### CeeDee Lamb’s Injury Status

CeeDee Lamb has been sidelined since suffering an ankle injury in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. He missed Week 4 versus the Green Bay Packers and Week 5 versus the Jets; however, the team chose not to place him on injured reserve. If his recovery progresses well, Lamb could return by Week 7 or Week 8. Given that high-ankle sprains often take four to six weeks to heal, a return as late as Week 9 or 10 remains a possibility.

### Cowboys’ Acquisition of George Pickens

The Cowboys traded for George Pickens in March 2025, despite already having CeeDee Lamb as their WR1. At the time, Lamb was healthy and coming off a Pro Bowl season, but Dallas sought an additional top-tier receiver to stretch the field and reduce the pressure on Lamb.

### Looking Ahead

The Cowboys face the Carolina Panthers next on October 12. Fans will be keen to see how both wide receivers contribute as the season progresses.

### Jerry Jones on CeeDee Lamb’s Ankle Injury

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones addressed Lamb’s ankle injury and the play that caused it during a September 23 interview on “105.3 The Fan,” just one day after Dallas’ 31-14 loss to Chicago.

Jones expressed no regrets about the decision that led to the injury, saying, “There’s no regret. No. That goes with it. That’s been an effective play for us over the last few years. It’s one that we will take advantage of when he gets back.”

### Contract Situations

The timing of Lamb’s injury is challenging, as he is in the final year of his rookie contract. Drafted 17th overall in 2020, Lamb has established himself as the Cowboys’ top receiver and a two-time Pro Bowler. Dallas picked up his fifth-year option for 2024, making the 2025 season his last before he must sign a new deal or enter free agency. Contract negotiations are expected soon.

Meanwhile, George Pickens, acquired from Pittsburgh earlier this year, remains on his rookie deal signed in 2022, which also expires after the 2025 season. This means he too could become a free agent if the Cowboys do not extend his contract.

Stay tuned for more updates as the Cowboys navigate the rest of their season with this dynamic receiving duo.
